3100 Kulmhotel Gornergrat in Zermatt

It's a shame that the kulm closes the restaurant at 2.30 p.m....when the weather is nice...no more service...not possible at all

ツェルマットから登山電車で1本で、ゴルナグラード駅に到着。そこから三分くらいでこちらのホテルへ。 窓から見える🪟マッターホルンビューに絶句。月明かりのみで、雪に反射してきらきら光る山には感動した。バスルームからも、月が近くに見えて美しかった。 ホテルの従業員も優しくて、体力的に許されるなら、もう一度伺いたい。

One of the most incredible experiences we’ve had. The place is just mind blowing: marvelous views, amazing staff, very intimate atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Schöne Sonnenterrasse mit super Aussicht und leckerem Essen

I can't believe this place is a 3 star. I'd give it a 4 star with a 5 star for service. The location / setting is amazing but watch for altitude sickness. The food was very good (not gourmet, but very hearty, delicious and generous) and rooms spacious with amazing views. We have stayed in some amazing hotels and this one, while maybe not luxurious, is bucketlist worthty. Ski right out the door.... Just one little nit was the pillows were very lumpy and awful. If I was coming to Zermatt just once to see the Matterhorn, there would be no other option. Excellent!

Sono stato durante il periodo di capodanno... Per quanto riguarda la colazione è davvero fornitissima con prodotti tipici e soprattutto freschi. La cena pur essendo con menù fisso a 4 portate con dessert, molto buono e variato. Per quanto riguarda la location è fantastica à 3100 metri La mattina è il massimo svegliarsi ed essere già sul tetto del mondo

Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Hotelpersonal, schöne Zimmer, super Aussicht. Essen schlicht, aber gut. Ein vergessener Gegenstand im Zimmer wurde freundlicherweise mit der Bahn vom Personal runtergebracht.

In good, sunny weather it gives you a fantastic experience. There is also a self-service restaurant with affordable prices.

Sehr sympathische Gastgeber. Schönes Zimmer mit Blick aufs Matterhorn. Dazu am Abend ein köstliches Menu und am Morgen nach dem Sonnenaufgang ein herzhaftes Frühstücksbuffet. Einmalig schöne Schweiz!

Wir waren leider nur für eine Nacht im Sommerhalbjahr im Kulmhotel. Die Anreise war überwältigend schön, wenn auch für alles separat ein Billett gelöst werden muss. Check-in und Check-out waren perfekt. Hotel, Gastronomie und Umgebung waren einfach nur zum geniessen inklusive Sternennacht und Rauschen der Gletscherflüsse tief im Tal unten. Die Baustelle vor dem Haus hätte vielleicht angekündigt werden können, störte uns aber nicht wirklich. Das Essen war gut. Nur der Service hätte zu Covid-Zeiten etwas mehr Distanz einhalten dürfen. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Das nächste Mal im Winter! :-)

Endroit juste merveilleux.... lente montée depuis Zermatt, et arrivée à 3090 m !!!! un pur bonheur !! avec une Vue juste Scotchante !!!! Le repas du soir excellent, le buffet du petit déjeuner ? Impressionnant!!!! on se demande ce qu'on pourrait rajouter ??? il y a TOUT !!! si on rajoute l'amabilité de Tout le personnel, la propreté et le confort des chambres, la Vue, les Glaciers..... fâites le au moins une fois dans Votre vie !!!! C'est Juste Magique !!!

Awesome! Amazing view on the mountains, good food, very good breakfast and dinner. If you wanna fully experience the atmosphere, you need to stay at the hotel overnight and have a great chance to enjoy it with no crowds! Another advantage is - you can enjoy the view just from your room, and not outside when it’s quite freezing. Currently there is some construction works on site (August 2020), but soundproofing is fine. Both sunrise and sunset were magnificent (depending on weather). Very friendly staff! Would definitely come back again! Highly recommended!

Sehr schöne Aussicht auf die Berge

Es gibt oben auf dem Gornergrat eine wunderschöne Aussicht. Auch die Bahnfahrt ist ein Abenteuer in einer einzigartigen Bergwelt ♥️♥️♥️

Prachtig gelegen hotel. Heel mooie kamer en badkamer. Lekker ontbijt-buffet en diner. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Er komen zich geregeld ook steenbokken laten zien! Vanaf het hotel begint de wandeling naar de Riffelsee waar je een mooie reflectie van de Matterhorn in het meertje kunt zien.

This hotel is just awesome. Starting with the obvious, it has the most amazing view of the Matterhorn and the other peaks, it's like you can touch them! and if you wake up early, you are privileged enough to have all the magic for yourself (I mean before tourists arrive on the train). The restaurant is beautiful and cozy, and so is the room. The options for dinner are limited, but it wasn't a problem for us because everything was very good, and the breakfast was very good and complete. The room is spacious and I was gladly surprised by the size of the bathroom (big!). Apart from this, which is already very good, I must say that the service was great. Every single person we met had this really nice attitude, the two ladies at the restaurant, the waiter and finally Kathrina at the reception. Now a little warning: Since it's located at 3100 m some people might experience mountain sickness. In my case, everything was fine until 2 am, when I woke up with a horrible headache, so I advise everybody to do some research on how to avoid this before actually going there. The receptionist did mention earlier that night that we should drink a lot of water and that she would be available all night if we had any problems, but we didn't want to call her unless it got really serious, so we didn't. I eventually got better and went back to sleep, but if you're prone to altitude sickness, take this into consideration. Finally, the only thing I wish the hotel would have done differently is if the staff wore masks. I'm aware that it is impossible to eliminate all the risk factors for covid and that it is primarily the guests decision to travel during these times (end of july, 2020), but I appreciate when organizations make everything in their hands to make their clients/guests and their own staff feel safer, specially in the hospitality industry.

宿泊してゴルナーグラートから見た朝日は最高でした。マッターホルンが目の前。めちゃくちゃ贅沢です。

The views are of course fantastic, but you don’t have to stay in the hotel to enjoy that. The hotel itself is mediocre and the food was fine, but I’d definitely prefer some other options in Zermatt.

Bei perfektem Wetter top Aussicht....das Selbstbedienungsrestaurante ist allerdings sehr hektisch und mühsam, die Köche an der Menschenkenntnis teils recht schnippig .... das Essen ist uns 4h später noch immer aufgestoßen 🤷‍♀️

The view from the terrace is amazing. There’s a self service restaurant with good food. A souvenir shop and a small destilería to get some licor. The ride from Zermatt is worth it even in a cloudy day. From this point you can do different hikes.

入住時飯店人員Katrina非常熱情有禮，會詳細介紹所有飯店資訊，並帶你到房間介紹房間設施，房間內有包含加濕器，浴室內有固定式吹風機，雖然是小吹風機，但是風力算頗強，熱風也非常熱。 有點可惜房間內沒有冰箱，因為房間內會開暖氣，所以雖然外面很冷，但是房間內無法冰飲料（我的可樂已經變熱可樂了...）我們把可樂放在外面窗台的積雪內，但是因為外面窗台是石頭製，凹凸不平也有點斜斜的，所以放30分鐘到1小時後可能雪有點融化，可樂整個掉到樓下平台😱，還好那時因為天氣不好，已經沒有旅客在平台賞景，餐廳員工人很好幫我們撿可樂😅😅 沐浴用品提供的是pure herb（好像是德國的牌子）洗沐合一，也另外提供有潤髮乳，這個牌子相當好用！ 晚餐早餐表現還不錯，以高山飯店來說，種類不算少，，味道也不錯，以這個房價來說一泊二食其實滿划算的。 服務人員感覺蠻辛苦的，中午、晚上到隔天早上看到的服務人員很多都有重複，應該幾乎都是同一批人吧，但還是保有服務熱情，值得讚許。 入住的時候真的要看天氣好不好，如果天氣不好一片霧茫茫，真的是很可惜，外面景色非常美，如果以天氣好的情況來說的話，此間飯店非常值得推薦住宿，如果有提供冰箱的話就更完美了。 另外也建議增加按摩服務，遇到天氣不好時入住還可以去按摩打發時間。

Wspaniałe miejsce z przepięknym widokiem.

Accomodations, service and food were top quality. Will stay again. Only negative was it is away from Zermatt nightlife, but that keeps one out of trouble. Just be sure to be on the last train which was 19:24 in the winter. Upon checkout they offered to hold my bag for the day so I can go skiing and offered an area to change clothes at the end of the day. Other than a fantastic dinner, there is no bar nightlife. Go outside and enjoy nature instead!

We got snowed in at this hotel, which was ok because we had planned to spend the night anyway. It was very cozy, with comfortable beds and a much-appreciated humidifier to counteract the dry mountain air. Huge bonus-- the towel racks in the bathroom were heated! The food at the restaurants was ok; not amazing like a lot of the other restaurants we are at throughout Zermatt, but not bad either. The service was excellent. In the morning, the clouds had lifted just enough to get some phenomenal photos of the sunrise over the Matterhorn before we headed back down on the train.

Wonderful hotel with updated rooms and probably the best view in all of Zermatt. Breakfast and dinner was included in the price and the food was good. If you don't have a lift ticket plan on paying $80 for the train from Zermatt round trip. A lift ticket and includes the train. Definitely the view from our room was the best I've ever experienced.

Wunderschönes Hotel auf 3100 Meter auf dem Gornergrat. Das höchste Hotel Europas bietet eine grandiose Aussicht und Speisen auf sehr hohem Niveau. Ich wollte schon immer dorthin und habe mir den Traum erfüllt. Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Die Anreise ist nur mit dem Bähnli möglich.

Super Aussicht, sehr gemütliche Zimmer, mit Blick aufs Matterhorn. Gute Küche, aber leider kein Barbetrieb. Am späteren Abend ist alles ausgestorben. Kann verdammt langweilig werden.

Kommst nicht hier her, dann habe ich sicher einen Platz frei 😜. Spass. Dies ist ein super Ort zum entspannen. Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter. Schöne Aussicht.

Service war sehr gut, Aussicht sowieso. Die Karte eher weniger. Ich wollte einen Salat mit ein wenig Fleisch oder Fisch. Allerdings gab es nur Fleisch von Brasilien, Fisch von Vietnam. In einem Restaurant an diesem Standort wo die Anreise schon 80 Fr. kostet, würde ich zumindest Schweizer Fleisch erwarten.

The highest hotel in Europe. This hotel is simply magical. 3120meter above sea level with the Matterhorn right in front of your eyes. Staff is truly hospitable and this is a once in a lifetime experience that anyone should have.

山の頂上にあるホテル。日本人が多く宿泊するのか部屋にインスタント味噌汁がありました。部屋から見えるマッターホルンは美しいの一言に着きます。ホテルからハイキングで下るのもオススメ。また、外のテラスも景色が良く、氷河なども見られます。

Hotel a più di 3000 metri di altezza, raggiungibile con una breve passeggiata dalla stazione della "Gornergraatbahn". La forma ricorda un po' quella di un castello, grazie alle sue torri "osservatorio". Spettacolare posizione( spesso sferzata da un vento gelido..) con una vista indimenticabile sul Cervino, il Rosa, Castore , Polluce e sul ghiacciaio. Già per questo ne vale la pena. Favoloso!!!

在房間裡可直接看到馬特洪峰的日出，飯店設備也很完善，若沒有行程時間壓力的人建議可以在這停留一晚。

전망은 매우 좋고 커피도 맛있었지만, 셀프식 주문 안내문이 작아 기다리게 됨. 직원이 보이지않아 주방에서 나온 할아버지에게 주문이나 먹고난 컵 처리를 물어보니, 자기와 상관없다는 듯, 저쪽가서 물어보라며 무관심한 응대를 했음. 그럴 수도 있겠지만, 어려운 일도 아니고 알면 대답 한마디만 해주면 될것을, 꼭 가서 물어보라는 태도가 이해하기 힘든 부분임.

Wenn unten im Tal die Temperatur im Sommer so langsam gegen 40 Grad gehen. Ist ey hier mit ca 19 Grad sehr angenehm um zu verweilen :-)

전망 및 시설 좋습니다... 식사는 아침은 보통이나 저녁은 제 입맛에는 안 맞더군요... 사실은 고산병 때문인지 식욕이 없었습니다. 운이 좋으면 밤에 맑을 때 보는 은하수 하늘과 마테호른은 대단합니다. 고통을 감수하고라도 볼 만한 가치는 있습니다.

이틀 숙박하면 고산병 증상이 나타남. 어지럽고 심장이 빨리 뜀. 황금 마테호른은 아래 동네에서 보임. 밤에 별은 정말 잘 보임. 3성급 호텔이라 서비스를 기대하면 안됨.

Great view while having a cup of coffee or a glass of beer

Very unique hotel in the world, it locates in 3100 meter high above sea level and surrounded by 12 glaciers. The hotel has 22 rooms only, you have to book six months in advance. When the last train leaves Gornergret station after 8pm, the whole area belongs to a few hotel guests, you can really enjoy the silence among the mountains.

Fantastic hotel at the top of Gornergrat. A great place to stay and appreciate the beautiful location especially in the evening and morning when there are no day trippers around. Lovely dinner and breakfast included too. Comfortable, well appointed rooms with breathtaking views.

Brilliant views of Glacier, not much seen of Matterhorn due to cloud, but sipping coffee in bay window in expection was entertaining😎. Despite dust storms and wind outside, the thick walls made you feel safe.

One of the best view swiss: the Matterhorn! And Glaciers

One of the most breathtaking places I have ever visited. The stunning glaciers and the Matterhorn views are indescribable. The hotel is expensive, but first class service here. I was accosted by the local friendly black birds, unique to this location. The air is rarified and takes a little getting used to. The train takes about half an hour to get up or down to Zermatt. We saw a man casually get on the train with a double barrelled shotgun and a dog and nobody bats an eyelid. My kind of place :-) Hopefully I will stay again next year.

แพงหน่อย แต่วิวคุ้มค่าเกินราคา มองออกนอกหน้าต่างก็เจอ matterhorn แล้ว ห้องพักเล็กไปนิดแต่สะอาดและอุ่นกว่ารร.อื่นๆนะ ฮีตเตอร์ในห้องน้ำแรง ตากผ้าแห้งเลยคืนเดียว พักแล้ว คราวหน้ามาก็จะพักอีก ดีมากๆๆ
