I miss the mega-fine hamburgers from the grill. The bratwursts are ok, but too expensive.

Great location on Lake Greifensee! The seating options are limited, but you can take take away and enjoy your drink/food on the benches on the bank.

The waitress (frustrated gentleman with gray hair) reprimanded my friend like a child because we, as paying customers, wanted to take a chair from a free table! It doesn't work at all!!!

Unfortunately it didn't work today. Otherwise it was actually ok, but today I waited for fries for over 30 minutes despite asking. Hope it's better next time 😕

Awesome place by the lake to watch the sunset, the lake, nature. Friendly service, short menu but covers what you need from a beach bar, drinks, ice-cream etc. Really nice burger from the grill. Reasonable prices, and it's open from the morning until late in the evening. There's also a place to rent SUPs here.

For me it's the best burger far and wide and right on the banks of Lake Greifensee.

Right on the lake, nice view over the lake, if you consume something there you're doing something good and useful at the same time.

Nice little snack bar with two food and drink outlets. You can enjoy what you have bought around the snack bar at bar tables and plenty of seating options. The view, especially the beautiful sunset, is always something special. There is also a small restaurant with a few tables.

The cost of a trip on this boat is not included in the cantonal pass.

Hmm, the food was good and the service was nice and friendly. As for the "service instructor" - I'm sorry for disturbing his peace. I've never had such a feeling of "unwelcome" before and even today after a week, I don't know what it was. It's a shame for all of his team members who put in such great effort. Especially the little coffee on the corner was a nice experience.

Notice to fans... Very good burgers. To get a place on the terrace, you absolutely have to make a reservation!

Pretty but far too small restaurant/bistro by the lake in Uster. The staff is extremely friendly and gives the restaurant a friendly charm. The food is definitely fine, they make an effort to present a small but somewhat unusual menu. To be honest, of course, you come because of the situation. It's a shame that the city of Uster can't manage to put up a decent restaurant of appropriate size, but of course the operator can't do anything about that...

Beautifully located place on Lake Greifensee. The prices in the self-service sector for sausages and salads are, to say the least, overpriced and a disgrace. Better take a sandwich with you and enjoy the lake

Very fine fish and chips. Fine dessert, apple in batter with ice cream and cream. Friendly service. Reservation worked very well. The place is in a great location, right on the jetty in Uster. There is a parking space about 150 meters away, it is wheelchair accessible and has a great view.

Basically a nice place to stay, but unfortunately you were sent away as a single person because all of the 5 free tables were supposedly reserved. I remember other things about customer friendliness: if you had at least had questions, if you wanted to stay for a long time then you would have been satisfied with the short time. Best regards to the cellars, what he might be able to do better next time.

Enjoy a small, delicious 😋 lunch in the spring sun directly at Greifensee - what could you wish for? The only constructive feedback: The take-away service (ordering) could be friendlier.

The price to quantity ratio is pretty much $$$-$$$$. Please please give the nut salad a little more greens and the fish 'n chips a larger basket, you can use twice as much of the fries, oh yes please save on the salt and consider using Stedy or Oswald for the fries seasoning to exchange. Although I would prefer Oswald.

The 8610 by the lake in Uster It would be so nice to have a beach bar on Lake Greifensee near Uster where you could have a drink on the terrace even on warm autumn days. However, the staff there apparently doesn't feel the need to treat people who just want to have a drink the same as better consuming guests. At the entrance to the terrace, the unfriendly person made it clear to me that if you "just" want to drink something, you can get it in the self-service area. That alone wouldn't even be a problem, but there were only three tables in that area, all of which were occupied. So I could only buy a Coke there for 4.70 francs and had to sit on the boulder. If I had known that, I would have bought a Coke for 1.60 francs at the Coop on the way to the lake and drank it at the lake.

Food is fine, but portion sizes are ridiculous.

Highly recommended because of the great location right on the lake. Excursion tip: take the legendary scheduled ship from Maur and make a leisurely pit stop in the 8610 and have a good time (of course this also works in the opposite direction :-).

The 5 stars were only not given because of the past 2 bad experiences. ——— Before: Unfortunately this is the second time I've had negative experiences. It used to be tastier and, above all, the staff was a lot friendlier. Especially on the telephone, people hardly take any more time and simply hang it up when there is no more space. It's a shame, because it's been a great recommendation so far.

When the weather is nice, the location is great. I found it quite expensive, but the food was delicious.

I have no idea what has changed for you, but some of the people who work there are very unfriendly. And the prices are really high too. These have been constantly increased in recent years, sometimes massively (e.g. burgers + fish and chips).

Not that special, I would say that they take advantage of the location (and lack of competition) so the food and drinks are nothing special. Also toilets could really use more cleaning. But then again, one comes here for the view and to relax, so good enough. 4 stars from Andrei.

Had dinner in the China Garden yesterday. The food was delicious 😋.

Nice spot on the lake between the outdoor pool and sunbathing lawns. Food comes quite quickly and is also good for a kiosk snack. The rating only applies to the self-service area. There is also a service area, but we didn't use it.

Please note that only cash payment is possible at the kiosk. It's such a shame that the fine 8610 am See Burgers are no longer available! They were great! Unfortunately I don't understand why they are no longer offered. Meanwhile also unfriendly service. It's a real shame that it was different 😕

For an Ustermer, this is the perfect restaurant to have a leisurely meal. We were welcomed by a very nice lady who then showed us to our table. You have a beautiful view of Lake Greifen, which is great to enjoy when the weather is nice. The food was excellent and came very quickly. We once ordered the burger and the famous fish crispy, which we would happily recommend. Thank you!

Not a bad place to enjoy an ice cream or a sausage. However, you try to please everyone. A little bit vegan, a little bit Halali, a little bit cool... honestly, it just makes it good Swiss. Then the staff is less stressed.

Today we were able to spend a really nice afternoon at 8610 by the lake with a delicious lunch. The staff was very friendly, courteous & the service was great. A reservation is highly recommended as there are not many tables. We will be back definitely!
