Great bar with large variety of cocktails, I would say the best in Mendrisio area.

Well-made classic drinks and appetizing choice of wines, I recommend trying the bruschettoni, informal and friendly atmosphere, they know how to put visitors at ease

I was in this beautiful place for the first time 1 and a half years ago, I was pregnant. They immediately welcomed me in a warm way and with a kindness that is no longer found anywhere. They prepared me a delicious Gin Tonic (with non-alcoholic Gin), delicious, it really looked like the original drink. I am surprised by Silvia's skill (I also come from the restaurant world and am very fussy), shortly after I meet Jessica who exudes friendliness and dynamism. Thanks girls! You are very good and keep going ♥️

It wasn't a review out of spite, but rather to report the behavior of an arrogant, rude and intolerant bartender. I don't see anything strange throwing a diaper of a little girl into the bathroom bin where one's physiological needs are normally satisfied. The barmaid's behavior towards me was also aggressive and she couldn't even give me an answer to my question where I could throw it. It's a shame how the behavior of a bartender can ruin even a pleasant place.

Empathetic, competent and attentive staff who respond specifically to customer needs. Excellent food with a careful choice of raw materials. Top level cocktails. Quiet location a stone's throw from the main square of the Magnificent Borgo. Prices certainly in line with the quality offered. Advised.

Every time I come here I spend hours, Silvia and Jessica are dear friends who pamper their customers, food and cocktails always at the top, those who complain about the wait don't know how to enjoy the free time they spend in company!!

We recently had an aperitif in this place that we didn't know and we were very impressed by the professionalism and availability. The service was top notch, with the aperitif they brought us a choice of really good appetizers. We will definitely be back.

It's a shame... in theory it could have been an excellent place to spend pleasant hours in company and with a nice choice of drinks and delicious bruschettoni. In practice we waited far too long until (it seems it was) the only waiter had given us his attention. It's certainly nice to have some members there to have a chat with, but if the next table has had empty glasses for maybe an hour (I can't guarantee it's the exact time, but the ice had already melted well) maybe it would be time to Go back to work. It's one thing not to have all the soft drinks on the menu or that the kitchen isn't open yet (it would have been nice to mention it on the site though), it's also ok to use the free version of Spotify which is interrupted every 3x2 by advertising. I can even see beyond the oil-stained tables. However, the point that actually pushed me to write this review, beyond the slowness of the service, is the lack of professionalism on the part of the bar compared to the criticisms here on Google. Let me clarify: the food was really great! The drink was good too. The three stars are due solely to those people involved. Unfortunately they are not the only criteria that define a good place. (Note to the manager: yes, this time I have experience in the field, but in any case it doesn't count as an argument. Thanks.)

poor service, we waited 90 minutes to order, and the place wasn't even full. The bruschettone, however, was exceptional, in fact it was devoured in the blink of an eye, probably also because we were terribly hungry.

What can I say... bar run by 2 fantastic friends who put their hearts into everything they do! From food to service, always ready to welcome you with a smile and with their best cocktails and lots of good beer. Music never fails, always careful to "pamper" its new and long-standing customers. A truly unique and special place where you can spend very pleasant moments... from a simple aperitif to "themed" evenings. In short, try it to believe it!!!! 900 TOPS!!

I went to this place yesterday. I ordered the beef tartare and in a short time they served me a beautiful dish decorated with: a heart-shaped tartare, roast potatoes with sauce on the side, loaves of bread and butter to spread. I accompanied with a medium light and finished with a special "caramel and meringue" coffee. Everything super good. Friendly, friendly and cheerful staff. I will be back very soon.

A place where tradition and innovation meet creating the perfect environment. Great food, unique beers and fabulous cocktails. Not to mention the staff and owners Jessica and Silvia who make you feel at home. Finally the perfect place.

Finally a bar where you feel like you're in Italy! Excellent beers on tap, excellent aperitif, excellent service.. It doesn't feel like being in Mendrisio!! I highly recommend the bruschettone! Enjoy your meal!
