We were greeted personally by Wilhelm at the door and he guided us through the evening very competently and warmly. The ambience is perfect and the food is a poem. The menu is short, but we really appreciate it. All courses were fresh and visually appealing. Instead of the “usual bottle of wine”, we decided on the right glass of wine for each course, which Wilhelm solved very well. An absolute insider tip in the industrial area in Wetzikon. We will come back!

The absolute insider tip in Wetzikon We read about the Aabach Restaurant on the internet. Since we are always looking for good restaurants with excellent cuisine and very good service, we chose the Aabach restaurant “Time for you” for our wedding anniversary. We opted for the “Seasonal Gourmet Menu Aabach” in 5 courses with wine accompaniment. We were greeted with an aperitif that impressed us. A slightly sweet wine with flamed thyme topped with tonic water. Just great, unusual and very good to drink. Then we got “the Taste” from the kitchen which impressed us right from the start. Pulk pork on pickled coleslaw. Great taste. Our first course: Aabach salad with warm mushroom tartare. Yummy. Class. The wine recommendation from Wilhelm was a Lugano wine that went very well with the first course. The second course: A wild carpaccio. Fantastic. Perfect. Wilhelm served us a fine rosé wine from Portugal. We now noticed that Wilhelm is a good wine connoisseur. The third course: A chestnut - Amaretto soup. Wow what a taste. What great spices in and on the soup. Wilhelm recommended us a Sardinian red wine. Very pleasant to drink with a great finish. Our fourth course: venison and venison escalope with game sauce with chestnut polenta, red cabbage and pear. Absolutely delicious. The wine recommendation was a red wine from Tuscany. Full-bodied, rich in fruit and soft on the palate. Long finish. The dessert: A composition of lemon - thyme pannacotta, chocolate mousse, chestnut terrine. There was also the fifth wine selected by Wilhelm. A port wine. Very fine, mild with oomph. We would like to thank the entire team very much for this great evening. Very special thanks to Wilhelm for the excellent selection of wines. The price-performance ratio is excellent. We are already looking forward to our next visit. See you soon.

Super fine food, something different than the “0815”. Price/performance absolutely okay. 👍 Staff highly trained and totally friendly. With its own cultivation all around, the terrace has a very homely and attractive atmosphere. Gladly again. 💪

Dinner and meeting of our club. We were thrilled from A to Z. Eating on the sunny and quiet terrace. Surrounded by raised beds with your own vegetables (tomatoes, peppers, zucchini) and berries (raspberries, strawberries). Friendly, top advice from the lady in service. Special requests and allergies were taken into account. Afterwards, unobtrusive support during the culinary part. The food - freshly prepared - was delicious and delighted our team. A quiet place was provided in the restaurant for the subsequent meeting and here too we were looked after in a friendly, attentive and competent manner. We felt welcome and at home. We can fully recommend this restaurant. For food, drink and/or dessert. Also in the afternoon on the terrace for a coffee break from everyday life.

We were warmly welcomed by Wilhelm on a Sunday and immediately felt at home. The restaurant is very stylishly decorated and the menu is extremely impressive. We ordered zander crisps, hamburgers and tarte flambée from the bistro menu and I have to say, I haven't eaten so well in a long time. All the ingredients were fresh and very tasty, and the doneness of the burger was really perfect. Wilhelm reads every wish from everyone's lips. We can highly recommend the restaurant and will also try the à la carte dishes.

The restaurant is located on the edge of an industrial area in Wetzikon. You will receive a very friendly welcome from the staff. We had the opportunity to sit outside, surrounded by a vegetable garden. These vegetables are of course used in the kitchen. It doesn't get any more regional than that. The service staff is very hospitable, knowledgeable, open, humorous and helpful. The menu is not overloaded and the food was really tasty. We'll definitely come back. There are enough free parking spaces available.

Great service, courteous, attentive, open, friendly, relaxed, sociable, cheerful. We were able to sit outside on the terrace and enjoy our food surrounded by a vegetable garden, some of which came directly from the garden. Freshly prepared, imaginative, varied and beautifully presented. A great address for a delicious meal. Vegetarians also have delicious and varied creations to choose from. EVERYTHING was perfect, including the wine!

Been here for lunch during the week. It’s conveniently located inside a sport center, with easy parking. The food was just fine; to be fair, we arrived close to the end of the service… The service was great! Finally, the value for money good too. Will be back!

It was a little difficult to find the parking lot when it was snowing (the signs were covered in snow). You first have to find the entrance at the back of an office building. The staff is quick and tries very hard to do everything right. Small errors are immediately and generously ironed out. When it came to the food (we had the seasonal menu and à la carte), the desired better standard could not be achieved across all courses. The quality of the ingredients was very good, the preparation and serving was also a slight plus. But with the main course (unfortunately both the same) everything went wrong. The wild boar plate was carelessly prepared, the chestnuts were partially mashed in the sauce, the red cabbage was too sour and the spaetzle was too dry - a real shame. The wine accompaniment was OK with unknown wines. I have a hard time with the ambience. The furnishings are something between practical and nice. If the small restaurant (almost 30 guests) is only half full, it is probably suitable for a meal with friends, but a cozy evening with your partner is probably not possible. The problem is the acoustics. It was too loud for us and the waiter practically always had to shout at us, which didn't help us relax. We have already mentioned some of these points in the evening. Now we hope that solutions can be found.

Wanted to have lunch after all the positive comments. Unfortunately, I found myself standing in front of a locked door on Monday, November 21st at 12:15 p.m. This is despite the fact that the restaurant appears to be open on the homepage and Google. A bit disappointing . Great reaction from the restaurant, I withdraw the bad review and wish you much success.

We were warmly welcomed at the door. We were able to spend an enjoyable evening in a beautiful atmosphere. Starting with the house aperò, which brought the taste buds to life. The main course, cleverly prepared, with the right red wine, full-bodied and exquisite. The homemade dessert was the icing on the cake.
