A unique restaurant with great hosts who are happy to explain the history of the “Green Fairy” very competently.

We visited recently after a long day on the road. After a warm welcome we were given our first taste of the good stuff. The service was really fun and helpful. I think we had 5 drinks. Awesome experience. Worth a detour if Solothurn is not on your route.

This absinthe bar is truly like a secret garden for anyone looking for the green fairy! The selection of absinthe is so large that you can hardly see the forest for all the green bottles. The ambience is perfect for immersing yourself in the world of tempting drinks. The staff is friendly. Unfortunately I haven't been here for a year because I'm a dad now - changing diapers instead of lifting glasses!

Of course we tried an absinthe. The selection was huge, but of course there was also a lot else. The atmosphere was cozy and the staff were very friendly and competent.

Original location, you have to experience it, good clientele and friendly service. Gladly again.

We were invited in after closing time by a very friendly waitress. For a round of shots and a round of Öufi beer.

An extremely cozy little bar in the middle of Solothurn. The friendly staff (a young German-speaking lady) also has a lot of expertise. All in all, definitely worth a visit for those who want to learn something about the cult drink absinthe.

The most wonderful Marzi rocks and serves this gem with her warm being, I always feel so welcome and as if she were the daughter I never had. Cool place for absinthe - great selection, casual service, sensational water dispensers - never seen it before (at least not me). A little gothic alternative, exactly what the Solothurn scene needed to loosen up. Pleasant audience of the middle and upper and already casual age group. There's no need to prove anything to anyone here - but an evening here can quickly lead to a relaxed and amusing conversation with complete strangers! Perfect last stop in the old town before staggering happily home 😉😉😉
