The food was good and the service was friendly. The ambience is a little old. Nevertheless, you can have a good meal at Adler.

Unfortunately the eagle couldn't convince us. In two out of four meals ordered, the meat was not cooked sufficiently. This is a real problem, especially with chicken. A drink order was forgotten and only delivered when the plate was empty.

For several years now, we and our customs staff have been in the cozy Adler Restaurant every Thursday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. We enjoy the good service. The wine selection is right for us. The meat/cheese platter at two colleagues' recent birthday party was very nicely presented.

On our first visit we received incorrect side dishes. This time totally greasy, small French fries. Unfortunately there will not be a 3rd chance. Most of the great reviews concern the predecessors.

The ambience was very nice and the waitresses were unfortunately very inattentive. The staff had a lot of conversations with each other, forgot to bring the orders and unfortunately they weren't all that friendly either. We also saw someone smoking and not washing her hands afterwards. The food was ok but we expected more for the price. The "marinated" avocado was a bit hard and only marinated with oil, pepper and salt. Personally, the beef tartare was too over-seasoned for us.

Best fish crispy I've ever eaten 😋! Top side dish too, fresh and regional. Staff very nice, attentive and competent. All in all highly recommended!

The food and service were top, this is without question. But then to charge almost 35 euros for the Zurich Geschnetzeltes with Rösti, which is so little in quantity that you're still hungry afterwards, I don't think that's right. You almost have to look for the pieces of meat and 3 small mini mushrooms. I would have liked a larger portion or a small side dish.

Today we treated ourselves to the Chateaubriand that is currently on offer. The meat was super tender! There were also 2 different sauces, herb butter and we could each choose a side dish from the menu. The conditions were very friendly and we felt comfortable.

Top address in Schaffhausen for excellent Swiss cuisine. The only negative point is the sober atmosphere. A modern touch is missing. Is taken into account on an ongoing basis. Since the change of ownership, the food no longer tastes as tasty. It's okay. The daily menu only offers three menus and the prices are also high.

Food was basically good. I especially enjoyed the venison schnitzel. However, the Brussels sprouts were more than cooked. The billing was initially incorrect. The ambience was OK. What bothered me was that the cloakroom was so small and in the swing area of ​​the entrance door. In addition, you couldn't hang the jacket properly because there were chairs stacked directly underneath it. It was therefore more of a plugging than a hanging.
