A carefully and not overly compiled menu (2 pages) promises freshly prepared enjoyment - this promise is kept. We were able to understand the many positive reviews ourselves. At this restaurant you should be happy to accept that you have to make a reservation early. As they say: it's worth the wait! Guaranteed to come back!!

I can very rarely be so brief: everything is just 1A! Be sure to reserve! Only parking spaces are sometimes in short supply.

With luck we were able to get a table for two people at short notice this afternoon. As always, we were able to enjoy the fine food, Zurich Geschnetzeltes with Rösti and spaghetti with scampi, as well as a glass of wine. Thank you Richard, Corinne and the kitchen crew! We are looking forward to the next time.

This restaurant offers a very good overall experience. The food is really great and the atmosphere is very pleasant. The staff is also very friendly and attentive. However, I also have to mention that the dessert at this restaurant was a bit disappointing. Although the main course and starters were very good, the dessert couldn't keep up and seemed a little unbalanced compared to the other dishes. It wasn't bad, but it lacked that certain something you expect from a restaurant of such a high standard. Nevertheless, I would definitely recommend the restaurant. If you are looking for a great dinner with a pleasant atmosphere and good service, this is the place. However, if you're a big fan of desserts, you might want to lower your expectations a bit.

What can you say? Even one day after visiting the restaurant, we are still raving about it. There is nothing to criticize, neither the food, nor the service, nor the ambience. There were 4 of us and we all enjoyed the soup of the day (carrot/ginger). Presentation and taste: mmmhh... Afterwards we enjoyed veal liver, minced meat patties and the entrecôte and then just sat back, comfortable and happy. Even though I am a staunch dessert refuser, I just had to try the homemade bitter orange sorbet. Here too: wow! The wine, which comes from the village, absolutely convinced us connoisseurs, despite great skepticism. The friendly comments from the waitress and the explanations from the boss contributed to this. The hosts make each table feel like they are the only ones and the most important. Finally comes the bill... For the great ambience, the service, the fine food... we would have paid a few francs more. But actually we shouldn't rave so much, otherwise there won't be a free table for a long time. After all, the restaurant was full to the last table on a Tuesday evening, just before payday. We'll try to get a table again as soon as possible

Good food and service. Swiss recipes updated and the pasta was homemade. Country rural atmosphere with more upscale food. The bathroom is down a flight of stairs and not wheelchair accessible. Friendly wait staff. The only recommendation/problem was that there were many tiny windows in the room we were sitting, which was small and very close, and none of them were open. As the evening drew on, everyone was hot and it was difficult to breath. We kept having to go down to the restroom or outside to get air.
