Akropolis in Solothurn

It's no longer what it used to be, the quality of the food has lost a lot. I was disappointed 3 months ago and again today. I'm looking for another restaurant, it lacks freshness, I'm sorry, I know the food also different in this restaurant

Excellent restaurant, real quality Greek cuisine, homemade

Last night we indulged in culinary delights. The mixed starter plate gave you an idea that experts were at work here. My main course (beef fillet with ouzo herb butter, with baked eggplant and homemade French fries) was excellently prepared and seasoned, the meat was tender as butter. A fine dessert and Greek coffee rounded off the menu. The other guests at the table also praised the food. Here the bread is prepared in-house and freshly cooked with a lot of love - there are no ready-made sauces in the Acropolis. Together with the successful ambience and the very friendly, well-organized service, we spent a perfect, cozy evening that couldn't have been better. Thank you very much for so much hospitality. We can recommend the “Acropolis” in Solothurn with a clear conscience; the price-performance ratio is also great. A reservation in the evening is recommended. We would like to come again!

I agree 100 percent with Nadine's 1 point review. Anyone who discusses pricing policy at the table when ordering has definitely done something wrong. I don't know of any other restaurant that operates like this. Either everyone pays the same or it is described clearly and legibly. Sounds to me like I shouldn't go to the restaurant to eat if my companion doesn't want to eat. Or just have an appetite for soup. Will the boss then come and throw my companion out because she doesn't do enough? Very strange. The boys are nice though. vg

Summer heat, a beautiful, shady terrace = unique ambience. Good food, good wine and you almost get that holiday feeling. The team contributes a lot to this through their relaxed nature. Will definitely come back.

I took the grill mix and Greek beer (Myth). The food was very good and the service was friendly. The proximity to the Aare is nice, but the outside seating is not quite as close to the water as the terraces of some other restaurants/bars. I'd love to come back.

It always fills me with joy to experience culinary delights in the Greek restaurant in the Solothurn area. For me, the benefits of this facility are incomparable. Due to the large number of guests, advance reservations are recommended. So far I have not found any complaints regarding the quality of the service and the food. This restaurant is highly recommended for those looking for excellent food.

Anyone who has already been to Greece will feel at home here. The only small criticism: constant Greek music would be great. It's very familiar and endearing. The kitchen is sensational.

The best Greek restaurant in Solothurn! The food as well as the service is simply top and almost impossible to beat. Always friendly and accommodating, all wishes are fulfilled. Also highly recommended with children, it has enough high chairs and there is a good children's menu. The atmosphere is very nice and the terrace is a dream in summer.

Yesterday I ordered the starter plate as the main course for my birthday for 15 people. I was able to pick up the panels at the agreed time and everything went smoothly! The food was simply great and the quantity was just right. The olive bread is so delicious too! Gladly again!

Visited this restaurant for a few times. Whenever someone asks me to recommend food places in town, akropolis is my first mention! Authentic dishes, prices are alright, rather expensive, but justified for the quality you receive!

I understand there is green certificant requirement, also understand the waiter is doing his job telling me I can't be served without such inside. But why, the hell, there is no chance for take-away?! Ok, if you don't respect me as a customer, obviously you don't need more customers, therefore revenues. Happy for your gainful business!
