INCREDIBLE experience, both in the restaurant and in the hotel!!! I have rarely eaten so well: the dishes were magnificent and delicious, the service was perfect. I slept very well, the room was quiet and comfortable. In all this perfection, the staff remains very warm and welcoming. I have nothing to complain about, and only want to go back.

Wonderful place! We are immediately transported by the view. The terrace facing the lake, the swimming pool, it's incredible. The welcome and the service are incredible, the lady is so nice! The restaurant is super good. We had such a good time that we didn't want to leave. The rooms were OK, very comfortable bedding, even if the room was a little outdated but with the view you don't need anything else!

We thank you for the wonderful weekend. We felt very comfortable. The cuisine is excellent... and the menu is chosen so that there is something for every taste. Local wines like a good Merlot are simply part of it. The service was perfect and very friendly. Everything very clean. A small garden with a pool completes the whole thing. Ideally located for a few days to relax. We'd love to come back.

We had dinner here on Saturday night. Being our first time coming, we opted for the tasting menu (each 105 Chf). The route was truly excellent. The dishes were all well prepared and presented, and the flavors were also well balanced between them. The highlight of the menu was certainly the pork belly, truly exceptional with its combination of sauces and the crunchiness of some components of the dish. It's a shame about the bad weather that day, but the location and the wonderful view of Lake Maggiore from our outside table made it a nice evening anyway. The service is also excellent, which is no small feat. I will definitely be back to try other dishes from the à la carte menu

We ate very well even if it was just a "snack", the wagyu meat and the side dish were fabulous, the asparagus risotto and the salad were also perfect, the service was excellent, the view was fabulous. It's not exactly cheap, but it's worth it. If you're lucky your lunch could be delighted by the evolutions of a pair of buzzards gliding near the terrace. Even at the end of the season I can only confirm what has already been said so far: the food, service and location are absolutely TOP. During the summer and autumn we frequented the restaurant several times, which has become almost an "obligatory" destination when we go as far as Ronco during our walks, and we have always eaten fabulously, the dishes are well cooked, well presented and well served. It's really good here. Even after the second LockDown the quality of the dishes and the service remained at a high level.

Two days in the Elisabetta pension and we fell in love with this place, from the breathtaking view to the sensational cuisine. Congratulations to the guys Luca and Cristian for their kindness, organization and spectacular service and a compliment to the kitchen which created small works of art. Leckeres Essen, sympathische Gastgeber und ein überragender Blick von der Terrasse. Nicht umsonst ist das nette, von 2 Brüdern geführte Restaurant,(einer serviert und unterhält, einer kocht) vom Gault Millau ausgezeichnet. Hervorragende Vorspeisen und Nachspeisen, gute regionale Weine vom befreundeten Winzer und überragende Pastagerichte. Dieses Restaurant ist jeden Umweg wert! Es war ein rundum gelungener Abend und genauso wie man sich ein italienisches Restaurant wünscht.

Tolle Aussicht von der Terrasse auf den See. Sehr aufmerksame und freundliche Bedienung. Kleine Menueauswahl aber exzellent zubereitete Gerichte. Zwar teuer aber lohnenswert. Reservation ist unbedingt nötig.

Beste Pasta mit Tomaten & Burrata - unbedingt probieren 😍🥰 allgemein sehr leckeres essen. Super preislich. Speisekarte dürfte ein wenig grösser sein (oder zusätzlich eine Saison -Karte). A perfect combination of amazing view, delicious and accurate food, smart wine menu, with professional and kind service.

Massive view when we arrived. Exceptionally attentive waiters. We were placed right at the bannisters, wherefore this unique view was guaranteed throughout dinner. The food was prepared in a reasonable amount of time and served at the exact temperature. The presentation is attractive. A must when visiting Locarno/Ascona.

Wirklich gutes Essen, einfaches Restaurant, so wie wir es lieben. Dass die Bratkartoffeln die besten sind, die ich je gegessen habe, möchte ich doch noch erwähnen. Leider wird am Mittag dieselbe Karte geboten, eine einfachere würde dann reichen. Hätten gerne auch was anderes wie Haute Cuisine versucht.

Eine tolle Entdeckung ist dieses kleine Restaurant. Die Betreiber-Brüder im Service und Küche sind mit Begeisterung dabei. Ich hatte tolle Gnocci und Osso-bucco- mal anders. Das Fleisch fiel vom Knochen und sah dabei noch super aus. Auch die Kürbissuppe, indisch gewürzt, und das Risotto ist zu empfehlen. Als Dessert ein Glas Lemon Curd Crumble- super. Es hat nur wenig Tische innen, mehr auf der Terasse.

Es war ein Erlebnis da zu Essen. Wir hatten einen schönen Tisch auf der Terrasse mit Sicht über den ganzen See und bis nach Italien. Das Essen wir sehr gut, der Service sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Ich hatte da vermutlich die Besten Bratkartoffeln die ich je gegessen habe. Die gibt es zu dem schönen Fisch oder Fleisch.

Das Essen, der Service und die Lage mit Blick auf den Lagio Maggiore und Umgebung sind fantastisch. Ich empfehle jedem der Wert legt auf sehr feines Essen, feinfühligen Service und eine überwältigende Aussicht das Al Braciere. En Guete!

Sehr feines essen auf höchstem niveau. Preisleistung top. Fantastisch angerichtet. Unschlagbare Aussicht!

La semana pasada organicé una reunión con amigos y decidimos probar un nuevo restaurante para cenar. Reservamos Al Braciere para las 8 pm y llegamos un poco antes para disfrutar del atardecer y tomar unas copas. Angelo y Cristian nos atendieron, ambos muy amables y rápidos para hacer recomendaciones sobre bebidas y comida. Nos encantó la comida; era cocina de alta gama; y lo que más me gustó de él es que el restaurante ofrece un ambiente informal y relajado. Lo cual no es muy común en los restaurantes que sirven un tipo de cocina similar a esta. También nos encantó que en la carta de vinos pudiéramos encontrar vinos regionales pero también vinos de nuevos países como Chile.

Last week I organised a gathering with friends and we decided to try a new restaurant for dinner. We booked Al Braciere for 8pm and arrived a bit earlier to enjoy the sunset and a few drinks. We were looked after by Angelo and Cristian, both very friendly and prompt to make any recommendations on drinks and food. We loved the food; it was high-end cuisine; and what I loved the most about it is that the restaurant offers a casual relaxed vibe. Which is not very common in restaurants serving a type of cuisine similar to this. We also loved that in the wine list we could find regional wines but also new countries wines such as Chile.

El restaurante perfecto para escapar de las masas en las plazas. Encontré este restaurante a través de recomendaciones de amigos; Buscaba una cocina auténtica y no una trampa para turistas. El restaurante está situado en la ladera de una montaña con vistas al lago Maggiore. Reservé en la terraza (asegúrate de reservar con anticipación ya que se llenan). El servicio fue profesional, atento y amable. La cocina, ni siquiera tengo una palabra para protagonizarla. Mi amigo y yo optamos por dos entrantes diferentes para probar un poco el uno del otro. El carpaccio de ternera estaba delicioso. Para plato principal, los dos pedimos risotto: un risotto de arándanos y un risotto con quesos locales y hierbas de un valle cercano. Estos fueron los mejores risottos que hemos tenido. Somos amantes de los dulces, por lo que pedimos tres postres, ya que simplemente no podíamos decidirnos. Me alegro de haber cenado aquí para mi última noche en Ticino, no podría haber elegido un mejor restaurante.

Ristorante Al Braciere es un pequeño y acogedor restaurante ubicado en Ronco s / Ascona, a diez minutos en coche de Ascona, donde siempre me alojo. La primera impresión del lugar fue su vista - guau - una vista de un millón de dólares del lago y las montañas.Cristian nos recibió de inmediato, de una manera amable y genuina. Todo se ve delicioso, así que nos decidimos por el menú degustación. Cada plato, desde el amuse - bouche hasta el postre, fue excelente. Todos los platos eran como obras de arte (sí, tuvimos que tomar fotografías de cada plato) y tenían un sabor fantástico.La atención de nuestro camarero fue excelente, nunca tuvimos que pedir que nos volvieran a llenar los vasos. Se cuidaron todos los detalles.Teníamos el moscato granizado de postre, que fue muy refrescante. Ojalá pudiera tener esa receta. Después del postre nos sorprendió con otro excelente postre, ya que casualmente mencioné que era nuestro aniversario.Realmente fue una noche memorable y una experiencia gastronómica imposible de olvidar. Ahora es mi restaurante favorito en la zona y no puedo esperar a volver.

Empezamos a caminar en Ascona, un domingo caluroso. Después de más de 7000 pasos cuesta arriba, vimos este restaurante. Almorcemos, dijimos, sin saber que nos llevaría una gran sorpresa. Brezza, una deliciosa sopa fría de pepino y melón, y Veggie Poke para empezar. Ambos muy bien presentados y de muy buen gusto. Luego una ternera maravillosamente cocinada con muselina de papa y pastinaak, y una pancetta di maiale, una panceta de cerdo tiernamente cocida, con papas cocinadas al triple. Y no olvidemos la vista. El almuerzo del domingo fue bastante tranquilo, pero este restaurante seguramente merece muchos clientes. Estarás muy satisfecho (y no es obligatorio llegar a pie).

Ristorante piccolino, tenuto molto bene. La vista dalla terrazza e stupenda e ci si rilassa subito. I piatti sono eccezzionali ed in ognuno si nota la passione del cuoco. Personale molto gentile e attenti.

Es ist Fantastisch, hier stimmt alles. Die Aussicht, die geschmacklich hoch abgestimmte Balance aller Zutaten in den Gerichten und die Gastfreundschaft. Dieser Familienbetrieb wird mit Herzblut geführt.

Cibo sopraffino presentato in modo spettacolare. Luca è un artista. Tramite il gusto e la vista ho goduto così tanto da non sentire più la sgradevole musichetta di sottofondo. Servizio impeccabile, spesa proporzionata e sazietà garantita.

Il ristorante gode di una vista spettacolare sul Lago Maggiore. Le Isole di Brissago quasi si toccano dalla terrazza.Il menù è contenuto e squisito. Cambiano la carta in base alla stagione e offrono sempre delle proposte settimanali. I piatti sono raffinati e si possono trovare gusti che arrivano da tutto il mondo.Ottima squadra di cucina e si percepisce la passione in ogni piatto.L’accoglienza è perfetta. I camerieri sono gentilissimi ed educatissimi. Lo “chef” di sala è un vulcano di energia e sa metterti a tuo agio alla grande. Spesso e volentieri organizzano serate con musica dal vivo nella loro magnifica zona braciere.Ristorante adatto per chiunque (coppie, amici, famiglia).A mio avviso uno dei ristoranti migliori nel Locarnese.Avanti così ragazzi! La vista dal ristorante é davvero stupenda e vale la pena andarci anche solo per questo Le porzioni non sono abbondantissime e il cibo e buono anche se niente di eccezionale Consigliato comunque!

Un luogo carino, curato e con una vista imprendibile. La carta è curata, snella, contemporanea e rispettosa di tutte le desinenze alimentari. La carta dei vini è attenta ai produttori locali: quello che personalmente è l’unico neo sono Fr. 29 per due bicchieri di bollicine proposte come aperitivo, benché locale decisamente troppo.

Siamo rimasti colpiti dalla combinazione dei gusti e dalla creativitá impiattata. Ogni piatto, compreso l’amuse bouche, era delizioso e perfettamente armonia/equilibrio / fantastico. Torneró presto !

Wir haben gerade dieses Restaurant zum Abendessen besucht und ich muss erwähnen, dass wir seit unserer Ankunft überrascht waren. Die Terrasse bietet einen atemberaubenden Blick auf den Lago Maggiore, wo Sie die Berge, den See und die Insel Brissago bewundern können. Die Speisekarte bietet eine große Auswahl an Vorspeisen, Hauptgerichten und Desserts. Sie haben auch ein spezielles Setup-Menü. Wir hatten die Beef Tartar, kalte Gurkensuppe, das Lachsfilet, Brombeer-Risotto und für Desserts fragten wir eines von jedem, wie wir Süßigkeiten lieben. . . Oggi con la mia famiglia siamo stati in questo fantastico ristorante. La vista sulle isole di Brissago è spettacolare e la terrazza all’aperto durante i mesi estivi ha il suo fascino romantico! Cucina super, prodotti di qualità e cura dei piatti nel dettaglio. Che dire, più che un piatto viene servito un capolavoro. Complimenti! Abbiamo apprezzato tutto, dall’antipasto al dessert.. una lode particolare alla tartare di tonno ed al dessert al limone. Servizio ai tavoli molto attento. Forse l’unica pecca, che però vista la bontá dei piatti si può sorvolare, è l’arredamento un po’antico. Sicuramente torneremo!

Quando si arriva si rimane subito meravigliati della vista spettacolare sul lago maggiore.Il ristorante è curato nei minimi particolari con una bella atmosfera. Personale molto simpatico e cordiale. Bellissima giornata con vista imperdibile sul Lago Maggiore e le isole di Brissago, peccato che fosse un po' ventosa, ma abbiamo comunque potuto mangiare in terrazza.Piccola carta sinonimo di freschezza e interessante menu che abbiamo scelto.Ottima cucina: curatissima nella presentazione e raffinata al palato: ottimo sotto tutti gli aspetti e con una particolare ricercatezza nelle diverse texture presenti nei diversi piatti.Ci hanno consigliato un ottimo bianco di una giovane cantina ticinese a conferma delle proposte del territorio a cui Christian e Luca prestano grande attenzione nella scelta dei prodotti.Giusto rapporto qualità/prezzo.Consiglio di farci una visita magari per un'occasione speciale, ma anche non... ne vale la pena.Buon appetito

In Ticino the only place with fire in fireplace. It's only ok in winter times to make a fire outside buildings. The forest fire danger is extreme in Ticino Switzerland. Here is one of the best views in Switzerland for outdoor dining. The outdoor seating is incredible. AMAZING PANORAMA VIEW TO THE LAGO MAGGIORE. FROM THIS RESTAURANT WE CAN SEE ITALY AND AT THE SAME TIME THE SWISS ALPS. I like the smoking area outside. Check out the pictures. Defenately one of the best places in Swutzerland.
