We knew the restaurant from a few years ago. The dining tables right by the water were new. The food was once again very good, the portions were huge and the service was perfect. Sunset 🌅 is also available as a bonus. We'd love to come back. Thank you . . .

We were there last Sunday, it was very quiet and we were able to park right across the street. We sat outside in the garden restaurant, despite the street in front, I find it very cozy and you have a nice view of the lake/the wind in your hair:) The waitress was very accommodating and immediately brought our dog a water bowl. The starter and the pizza were very tasty, I haven't had such a good pizza in a long time. We will be happy to come back.

I was at **Al Porto** in Gersau with my family today and we all loved the pizza. The dough was crispy and airy, the tomato sauce was fruity and aromatic and the cheese was nicely melted. We tried different varieties, from Margherita to Salami to Funghi. All were very tasty and plentiful. The service was friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was cozy and the prices were fair. We would love to come back and can recommend **Al Porto** to anyone who wants an authentic Italian pizza.

Food was OK, but here the landlord charges 3.-Fr. for a small glass (2.5cl) of syrup for children. I've never experienced that anywhere. There is no restaurant in Gersau that charges for syrup.

We have tried this restaurant several times, it never disappoints. The food is tasty the service is always warm and welcoming. If you are in Gersau this is a great choice for lunch or dinner. They also have out door seating on their deck and across the street right on the lake. Great views and fantastic for an evening drink.

We had a delicious meal and the service was very friendly. Despite many guests and few staff, we didn't have to wait long. The terrace by the lake is also highly recommended.

Really good Italian food in Switzerland from an authentic Italian! The terrace on the water with a view of Lake Lucerne and the town of Beckenried is breathtaking. Coming from Vitznau, it is the first restaurant in Gersau on the Riviera.

We were there yesterday evening, June 29th 2021. We have eaten pizza and pasta. Both were very fine and deliciously. The service was also very good with a very kind welcome. I can only warmly recommend this restaurant.

Mit direktem Blick auf den Vierwaldstättersee und an bester Südlage fühlt man sich sehr schnell wie an der italienischen Riviera. Genügend Parkplätze sind vorhanden. Zudem hat es für Boote mehrere Anlegeplätze direkt vor dem Restaurant. Hunde sind übrigens auch willkommen ;-)

Durch Zufall sind wir nach einer Wanderung im Alporto gelandet. Die Qualität und Zubereitung des Essens waren hervorragend. Auf Anfrage wurden die (frischen und hausgemachten)Tagliatelle vegetarisch mit knackigem Gemüse zubereitet. Service und Ambiente direkt am See lassen keine Wünsche offen. Wir waren direkt am nächsten Abend nochmal dort. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Die typisch italienische Speisekarte regte sofort unsern Appetit an. Unsere Kinder haben sich auf die große Auswahl an Pizzen gestürzt und wir wollten natürlich "Meeresgrüsse"! Frischer Tagesfisch wie Branzino oder Hummer mit hausgemachten Tagliatelle oder Frutte di Mare. Es war alles hervorragend und ein sehr aufmerksamer und freundlicher Service. Wir wählten den Seenplatz, direkt am schönen Vierwaldstättersee mit Blick auf den Pilatus und Bootsanlegeplätzen. Wir werden wieder kommen und möchten auch im schönen Ristorante innen bedient werden, wenn man das wieder kann.

Wir waren auf der Durchreise und haben uns vom visuellen Eindruck leiten lassen und sind zu einem Mittagslunch eingekehrt. Das Essen und die Bedienung waren ebenfalls wunderbar - wir kommen gerne wieder wenn wir wieder in der Gegend sind!!

Silvio heisst der junge Italiener. Freundlich, herzlich und flink. Er hat sein Geschäft im Griff und den gesamten Überblick. Im Moment sind nur die Aussenflächen offen. Die Lage mit dem zusätzlichen Seeplatz und den wunderbaren Sonnenuntergängen ist einmalig.Der Tagesfisch, das Entrecôte und Dolce waren hervorragend. Wegen beschränkten Aussenplätzen, muss im Moment unbedingt ein Tisch reserviert werden.

Der neue Wirt Silvio hatte einen schweren Start, er verdient es nun gerühmt zu werden. Das Restaurant mit neuem Team wird gepflegt geführt und hat ein klares Konzept. Danke für das gute Essen und den perfekten Service.

Pizza ganz gut. Allerdings sitzen trotz Lockdown 3 Leute ohne Masken an der Bar. Keine Kartenzahlung... da muss wohl Jemand Steuern sparen.

Schliesslich folgte ein dritter Aufruf und dann brachte der einzige Kellner endlich die Rechnung. 2x Pizza Prosciutto, 1x Citro 0.5l, 1x 0.33l Cola Zero kosteten zusammen CHF 48.80. Ich bezahlte mit einer CHF 50-Note. Der Kellner bedankte sich und sagte, es sei alles ok. Ich traute meinen Augen nicht: Er wollte tatsächlich das Rückgeld behalten! Ich forderte schliesslich mein Rückgeld an und gab keinen Rappen Trinkgeld. Einmal und nie wieder. Schade.
