Ali Baba Grill in Altstätten

I've been going to Hassan Kebab for about 3 years now and I can't eat any other kebab now. This is mainly because he makes his own sauces and these are not standard sauces that are not available in other stores. All ingredients are fresh and you get high quality kebab meat. He is also very friendly and does everything the way the customer wants.

As always for 10 years, the food is very good and the owner is friendly. For me the best snack in the area. Fast, competent and with a large, good selection of sauces.

me and my bestie were there for the first time. I've always heard good things about this snack bar, so we took the chance to see for ourselves. We received a very friendly welcome and he introduced us to his concept. We were allowed to try his house sauces and choose what we wanted and how much of it. Top service and a cheerful, funny guy 😄 When we arrived home, we immediately enjoyed the delicious kebab and dürüm. For my bestie it's in the top five, in 30 years of munching kebabs, from Rancking and for me it was the best I've eaten so far. 💯 Only to recommend🔥

What else can you say about that? Such a large selection of sauces (tartar, curry, barbecue, various hot sauces, etc.) is probably not available anywhere else in Switzerland. The really lovely gentleman even makes the cocktail sauce (which is an industrial product everywhere else) himself (like all the other sauces, of course). The kebab skewer is also made according to our own recipe. The icing on the cake would be if he made the pocket bread himself.

Definitely the best kebab in the entire Rhine Valley. Point. Good sauces made in-house, various levels of spiciness available. Big portion.

Best kebab shop ever. The boss is super nice and always knows what I like to eat. Everything was very tasty. Gladly again and again. The one and only kebab place in Switzerland.

Never a 4.7 star kebab, meat cold and a mush, cocktail sauce too salty. Selection of vegetables and service were at least very good.

The BEST kebab in the Rhine Valley. Unfortunately it's closed on weekends, but at some point dear Hasan needs some rest. Keep it up! 💪🏽

Great kebab, but only cash payment

I was very hyped for the kebab. I was in the mood for a new adventure trip. But then it felt like I was on a roller coaster. The first few bites it was brutal and came around the corner with an enchanting flavor. But then the journey just went downhill. The sauce was slightly too salty. Even with the poorly constructed Dürüm, I had to think far too much about where I should bite next without the sauce dripping onto my top. From paradise to nightmare. - da Ueli

For me personally, by FAR the best kebab in the Rhine Valley - everything is super fresh, the homemade sauces (and there is a large selection) taste great and the size of the dishes is more than fair. I'm always happy to come by!

Very fine vegi burger really really tasty, great selection of sauces including hot sauces that are finally hot, that you can combine, fresh vegetables, gladly again! It's nice that vegetarians are considered, otherwise it usually only has fries and I was really happy! And according to my colleague who eats meat, the best kebab ever! Everything was great, very friendly seller and the parking lot or train station was right next to it.

Lots of vegetables in the Dürum and very little meat. It's almost for vegetarians. In addition, at 11.- it is above average expensive. No thanks..

Of all the kebabs I've had so far, Ali Baba's is one of the absolute best! From the meat to the bread to the fresh vegetables, everything is just right. What is particularly worth mentioning is the selection of delicious sauces, which can be freely combined.

Very friendly service and excellent food.🥙🍺🍟 Price is acceptable. You can usually always sit down and don't have to stay in the blazing sun ☀. ⛱️ This snack bar is really worth a visit. Also easily accessible by train or bus. Of course you can also come by car, there is a large parking space right next to the snack bar. 👍👍👍👍👍
