The best kebab in Geneva, I wanted to find good kebab meat, it melts the chicken and of course everything is homemade!! I highly recommend.

The doner kebab was very good, they serve a lot of it, the waiter is friendly, it's a nice establishment, I recommend you to try it.

Food tasted good but gave me some of the worst food poisoning of my life before an international flight. When I look for kebab, I don't anticipate vomiting and diarrhea for the next 24 hrs after consumption.

Located very close to the Cornavin station. Ali Haydar Kebad Restaurant offers an exceptional culinary experience. The service was very good, the staff attentive and friendly. We tried the kebad sandwich, lahmacun, lentil soup and havuç dilimi for dessert, all exquisite in flavor and presentation. The cozy atmosphere. The prices are very good, the quality of the food and the service justify it. Without a doubt, a recommended option for those looking for a quality gastronomic experience.

The staff were very professional and friendly - 5/5. Food was OK - 3/5, due to the order we wanted got mixed up and instead of chicken got mixed wraps, but overall everything was fresh. The atmosphere is very busy and loud as lots of people are dining in a comparatively small space but overall I would recommend a visit.

The food is delicious and they say it is halal food. In terms of prices, just like others in Switzerland, their prices are a bit exaggerated. Our order was a plate of Skander, a plate of shawarma, a shawarma sandwich, two pieces of baklava, a cola, and moya. Our cost was approximately 83 francs (360 riyals). OMG! I have traveled the world from Turkey to Timbuktu in search of the perfect kebab and found it here at Ali Haydar. I must admit it was my favorite a few years ago when I lived in Geneva, and the place was just a small corner kebab stall with a few seats. I continued traveling to verify my assumption and sure enough, I have been unable to find a kebab anywhere in the world as good as the ones here. Alas, I returned in 2023 to find the place expanded and upgraded- a bit fancy even. The atmosphere is phenomenal with a cool laid-back vibe and great service. And— most importantly —the kebabs are still astonishingly delicious.

First time I’ve tried lamb Durum kebab, Halal kebab, but they sell alcohol as well. Kebab was very tasty, I really enjoyed lamb kebab… Within 10-20CHF everything’s available there.

We were looking for a halal restaurant in Geneva when we came across this restaurant in rue de Laussane. The place was simple, nice and cosy. The ambience was also good and welcoming. We ordered an Ali Hayder Burger. Unfortunately the waiter didn't understand English well. Where we said yes, he considered it in no and where we said no, he thought it was yes. The result was that the burger had a wrong customization. Still it was delicious and enjoyable. It was a Turkish restaurant and we enjoyed our food there a lot. Strongly recommended for a try. We intend to go there again tomorrow.

The best kebab meat we have ever eaten. The lamb was very tasty. The accompanying sauces were very good too (there are only 3 choices but that’s enough). The restaurant is modern, clean, and the toilets are as well. On the other hand, the menu is really expensive for French people (20€ compared to 8€ in Paris), but it's worth the detour. I recommend !
