We had lunch there and reserved a table. It seemed like they had forgotten about us because we had to wait for one to become available. The restaurant was full and therefore loud. The food came quickly and was delicious, nothing exceptional but good. The prices for Zurich are totally normal or low. The waitress wasn't very attentive and also forgot the espresso. At least she hadn't forgotten this one either.

Four of us had lunch at Almondobar. The restaurant was full to the last seat. The seating is very tight and very loud. Anyone who wants to have confidential conversations here is in the wrong place. The food was okay, although the Thai vegetables weren't Thai at all. All in all ok. The service was not good, rude and sometimes flippant. The drinks were taken incorrectly. The plates had already been cleared away even though there were still people eating at the table.

You can't talk about an Aperol Spriz - way too much Aperol! Not a sip of prosecco and far too little soda! When we spoke to them, the staff said they were very stingy when it came to prosecco... that's not possible

The "starters" were fine. The pasta Almodobar was very good. A waiter is running around too much and sometimes forgets an order. The interior is far too loud when there are a lot of guests. You should do some soundproofing here, unfortunately it doesn't encourage you to stay for long, which is a shame. Therefore, unfortunately only a mediocre rating even though the potential would be greater.

Food was very fine. Service very friendly. It would be nicer outside if there were separate places for smokers and non-smokers. We would be smoked from both sides by the heavy smokers :-(

This tapas bar in Zurich is a must-visit. The sangria is great, tapas are delicious, and the ambiance is lovely. Plus, the host is fantastic! As a bonus, they offer great shots. Highly recommend it.

The staff no longer knows who ordered what and when or who arrived when......totally bad.....they don't know at all about friendly restaurants. You're lucky just because of the location.....otherwise......

I can't remember the last time I was served in such a condescending and unfriendly manner at a bar. Did it have to do with the fact that we were traveling with two strollers including quiet (!) babies? As background information: The restaurant was largely empty on a Saturday afternoon. This made it difficult to enjoy the drinks and snacks we ordered. The highlight was that the barmaid moved our baby stroller without asking and rudely (without releasing the brake) instead of simply pointing out to us that it was causing a nuisance where we had left it. I assume that new parents and their children are not the target group of this restaurant, but it was very disappointing to have to feel such openly displayed rejection. And just before Mother's Day.

Was there three times at lunchtime. Chaos every time. Reservations are mixed up and you are suddenly asked to change tables. Service hectic and unfriendly. Not recommendable.

The bar is very central and close to many offices, so it gets very busy in the evening. Better to book a table many days in advance.

Smelled like fish upon entering, but in a good way. A way that’d make you hungry for calamari. 5⭐️

Anyone who dines here in the evening will receive tapas of a high standard. Whether alone or with friends, it is really delicious, but of course, sharing is caring, especially when it comes to tapas 😁 That's why I also strongly recommend taking the tapas platters (meat and fish) - costs CHF 59 per platter ( Vegetarian platter is also available, CHF 36) Little tip: The nacho plate is no longer necessary even for 4 people - unless you are very hungry 😉 There's not much to say about the drinks, they range from standard to good! The ambience can be a bit disturbing when there is high occupancy, so it is advisable to go during the week if you prefer it quiet. The background music is appropriate. I found the service to be friendly and accommodating.

It's a shame, we've been coming here every now and then for many years, always good, always friendly, great bar! But people, please adjust your opening times on the internet, if it says 1:00 a.m. you tell us at 11:50 p.m. we just have to come earlier, there's nothing going on and because of us you can't do it longer... sorry, then that's fine won't be going on anymore, because if we don't know whether you're open or not, it's not worth coming here and that's what some people will think.

In my opinion the prices are somewhat high, even being in Zürich, however the tuna salad with shrimp and black olives that I ordered was very good👌🏻. I did not like the service 😕, maybe it was a bad day for the people who attended us, they treated us haughtily and very unfriendly, they also pressured us when ordering and to leave the place.

It was the first place we visited after airport. The staff was very polite and professional. At the time of our visit they were having the policy (whole country) of accepting only covid vaccinated visitors inside so, if it still holds, make sure you have the certification with you all times.

The lady in service on Saturday October 9th at around 4pm probably shouldn't be working in the catering industry. No idea about hospitality, really very unfriendly and seems totally overwhelmed, even though it's quiet. A pity.

Fast, uncomplicated and friendly service. Despite the cold, it's worth a visit...if necessary, there are also seat skins and wool blankets. A small feeling of normality and freedom. (Corona Time) So far I've only been here for a nap after work, but the menu offers lots of interesting snacks (especially with a Spanish touch) Will definitely go there again.
