Alp Laret Ftan in Scuol

Several locals recommended Alp Laret and its famous Kaiserschmarren to us. It actually tasted delicious. The Graubünden barley soup was also good and nicely served. The service was very warm!

Great place easy to get to. Easy to reach by MTB from the valley or via a great crossing from Mota Naluns. Food inexpensive, absolutely delicious and regional. Dumplings with salad are one of the best I've ever had. Bacon stuffed and salad very fresh with delicious dressing. Kaiserschmarren has a longer waiting time but is worth it. Incredibly tasty, great consistency. A clear recommendation, but often well attended. If you are traveling by MTB you should go to Alp Valmar - the trail is worth it.

Kaiserschmarrn, dumplings and wonderful 'Plattli'. Free of charge, the view of the valley and the mountains.

As always, Angelika, Andreas and their team are very welcoming and it's always a nice hike up here. The view is fantastic and here you can get the best homemade Kaiserschmarrn. We come up here almost every time we are in Ftan. Highly recommended!

Contrary to the section on the menu, the Kaiserschmarrn are not "for small appetites" but one portion is easily enough for a family of five. The Laret plate doesn't deserve the diminutive either. Everything was very nice and very friendly.
