We were just there for dinner, perfect from A to Z, thank you very much, we'll be happy to come. One of the best addresses in town!!

Friendly, cozy and very good cuisine!

I have enjoyed going here again and again for many years. Good food, very friendly staff and the rustic-modern atmosphere are the most important reasons, alongside the continuity of quality. My recommendation? The hot stone.

Really great value in a ski resort, nice service, tasty food

Very tasty food! Wonderful liver dish! Side salad ok, but dressing and topping placed below the lettuce leaves! Dessert Hot Berry delicious, but here too the hot berries were filled below the vanilla ice cream balls (?!) and not poured over them! Service not always attentive!

We were there on a Saturday lunchtime and were very satisfied. There is also a menu with great value for money. Great ambience, fine food, nice service, we'll be back.

It is modern and yet cozy, the service is top, the food is quite good and ok, the portion sizes have been adjusted or in some cases reduced, like the green salad.

Recommended by a friend who knows Bettmeralp very well, we went to Alpina twice for dinner during our skiing holiday this week. Both times the service was very well organized, friendly and very attentive. And the food was fine. The hostess was also very pleasant and friendly. We can highly recommend the Alpina and would be happy to come back!

11/8/23 We were here on October 28th, 2023 and were allowed to be served by the landlady's young son. He does it really well and a lot of people can learn something from him. We tried the menu, a Valais specialty “cholera”. It was so fine. The Alpina is very good and you immediately feel like you are in good hands, thanks to the landlady and son. It was so good that I even forgot to take a photo. We will be back!

WOW simply great food and service. The food was super tasty and was delivered quickly. The service was very friendly and personable. A bit expensive but I'm happy to spend that on a really tasty meal. I can recommend it to anyone who wants to eat delicious food.

We go to Alpina to eat at practically every stay in Bettmeralp and are (and have always been) very satisfied. In addition to the good cuisine, the attentive service and the beautiful ambience are impressive. The hostess has long-standing staff, that says it all.

The three of us had dinner here. Reservations are mandatory, the restaurant was full. First the positive: + The atmosphere in the restaurant is very nice. + The quality of the food was very good. It tasted good and looked very nice too. But some things didn't go so well: - Unfortunately we didn't receive the wine list. - We had the feeling that locals were preferred over people from outside Switzerland. - We were not asked about the desired cooking level for the meat. - I am the only vegetarian in our group of three. There are enough vegetarian dishes on the menu. However, as soon as the first guests receive the house specialty, meat on the hot stone, the entire restaurant smokes excessively! - The situation with the wardrobe is not solved optimally. This is located in the small vestibule between two automatic sliding doors. That may be O.K. in the summer. But when it's minus 10 degrees outside, it's just stressful when the doors are opening and closing all the time.

The menu - potato soup with bacon and the deer pepper with spaetzle was brilliant. The children's portion of pasta Bolognese was also great. To match the winter mood, there was also a delicious hot chocolate with cream. The dogs got some delicious cold meat snacks. Totally lovely service and super hospitable.

The restaurant, which is easy to reach, offers very good food, you can really find something for everyone, there is also vegetarian food on offer - great! Unfriendly service throws out 1 ice cream card for 6 people on February 28th, 2022 at 12:00. Seems stressed and hates her job. Probably because of the color of her hair she can't do it anymore

If you fancy a good piece of meat on a hot stone, then the cozy Alpina restaurant on Bettmeralp is the right address. We had dinner with friends and there was enough choice for each of us on the varied menu. Both our vegetarian and we, who wanted meat, had beautifully prepared plates, including a hot stone with the appropriate side dishes and sauces. Of course, we also found the right wine in the wine list and the selection of desserts rounded off the meal. The service was very friendly and attentive, which is why we really enjoyed the evening.

The Alpina is a great restaurant with friendly staff and always up for fun. What I find absolutely disrespectful is this post where a service employee is reduced based on the color of her hair. Maybe you should look for the errors yourself first.

Stayed at the Alpina once again. 6 adults and 9 children (1-7 years old). The staff was super friendly and read your every wish. The food is a dream (top quality hot stone and the salad plate with a great sauce). I recommend this restaurant to everyone who is on Bettmeralp! The boss is always there for you!

We had dinner with 10 people on the occasion of a birthday. The welcome, the food and the service were perfect. I knew the restaurant from before (before 1990), but was no longer there after the very successful renovation and conversion a few years ago. I will definitely come back for dinner more often now.

Touristic menu. Looks better than it tastes. The “curry” consists of side dishes. The vegetables are overcooked and watery. The fries were soggy. The service is friendly as long as the food is praised. The prices confident. Find something else. There is also good food all around.

Wir haben uns entschlossen am 1.August mit unseren Familien auf der Terrasse des Rest.Alpina unseren Nationalfeiertag kulinarisch zu geniessen.Wir haben uns für den Tischgrill entschieden,was ein gute Idee warZum Apero gab es einen Selbstgemachten Flammkuchen und dazu ein selbst kreierten Aperol von der Chefin perschönlich.Zum grillen gab es acht verschiedene Fleischsorten.Grosses Salat buffet,verschiedene Gemüse und Alukartoffeln.Raclettkäse was bei unseren Frauen sehr gut ankammBegleitet hat uns der beste Kellner der Bettmeralp Rene der das so mit einer lieben Art und zu Verkommenheit vorlebt,das man ihn guten Händen istWir haben den Abend so genossen und es wird nicht der letzte Besuch sein.Zum Desser gab es noch ein super Aprikosensorbet.

Absolute aanrader! Heerlijk uitgebreide kaart, voor elk wat wils. Super vriendelijke bediening en correcte prijzen. Schoon en sfeervol interieur.

Seit Jahren gut Immer wieder, wenn ich auf der Bettmeralp bin, gehe ich ins Alpina. Essen und Service sind qualitativ konstant. Ein Traditionsrestaurant mit gutem Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis.

Seit 35 Jahren immer top. Der heisse Stein ist mit sensationeller Fleisch Qualität unübertroffen. Wenn wir auf der Bettmeralp sind ist ein feines Abendessen immer ein muss.

Restaurant magnifique Repas excellent et personnel super sympathique

Très bonne surprise que ce restaurant accueillant avec une bonne cuisine dans ce lieu si touristique. Accueil et service très prévenants. Carte variée avec quelques mets locaux: excellente croute au fromage et très bon dessert local (bien qu'originaire d'Autriche): le kaiserschmarrn. La vue depuis la terrasse au rez est un peu bouchée, mais le lieu est à recommander.

Waren übers Wochenende auf der Bettmeralp.Hatten super Wetter ,haben uns entschieden auf der Terrasse im Alpina unser Nachtessen zu geniessen.Super Ambiente Tische waren schön hergerichtet.Richtig Heimelig.Haben es genossen,super Service von einem Kellner der sein Fach versteht.Essen hervorragend alles frisch zubereitet vom Salat bis zu denn Hervoragenden Cordon-Blues.Super Weinkarte mit Auserlesen Weinen aus dem Wallis.Herzliche Begrüssung durch die Gastgeberin.Bravo hat einen sehr gut geführten Betrieb,was heute nicht mehr selbstverständlich ist.Da merkt man Herzblut von allen.Über den Service bis zur Küche und die FamilieWeiter so und viel Glück in dieser Schwierigen Situation.

Wie immer, zum Ferienbeginn ist ein Essen im Alpina angesagt und wie immer gibts eine Käseschnitte. Super Teil, alles frisch (wer behauptet, es sei eingekaufte Ware, die man erhalte, hat entweder eine Geschmacksverwirrung oder fakes new-verbreiter), die Bedienung durch Rene lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig und auch die Chefin aufgestellt wie immer

Wiedereimal durften wir das Essen im Alpina geniessen. Ich hatte ein Rindfilet mit Pfeffersauce ein Gedicht. Auch die Bedienung war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Gerne wieder.
