Alpina Einhorn in Wolfenschiessen

After a hike in the Engelberger AA Gorge, we took a break before returning home. The waitress, a very friendly, attentive woman, immediately asked us what we wanted. The coffee was very fine. The ice cream as well... It lay on a kind of sand, made from cake crumbs... Sophisticated! Cream was served very generously at our request. It was pleasant and our youngest was also served very lovingly. Thank you very much.

After the Titlis ski area was closed today due to the Fön storm, we spontaneously decided to have lunch there. After a short phone call, 17 of us were welcomed in a friendly and friendly manner. Everything worked quickly and quickly and the food was very good. Many thanks to the team

Dear Alpina Unicorn team Over the last few months I have been able to exhibit my paper cuts/silhouettes in your beautiful winter garden, where they came into their own very well. We had dinner with you a few times. A big compliment to everyone! The quality of the food was always very high, very good! Seasonal, regional, very finely prepared and lovingly served. The service staff was also consistently friendly, well-positioned, uncomplicated, so you just feel comfortable. We stayed in the Hotel after a ski day in engelberg. It is just around 15 minutes by car. The host was really friendly and the rooms are clean and really awsome. Diner we ate at the Restaurant of the Hotel and it was the beste i had for a long time. All ingrediants are from switzerland and they dont have any waste and cook really sustainable. I will for Sure come back!

Business lunch in the winter garden. Solid cuisine. Very nice service. Cozy restaurant. We did everything well, even though the restaurant and their restaurant were full. New, young management finally seems to be bringing the venerable restaurant back into the swing it deserves.

Spontaneous dinner with family. Warm welcome, nice atmosphere in a mediocre location, extremely friendly and competent service. The food and wine list is creative and varied. They rely on regional products. The wine list impresses with special and exquisite Swiss wines that you won't easily find in retailers. The delicious dishes were beautifully presented on matching porcelain. The friendly cook comes to the table, something that is almost only available in the countryside these days. We were there because of Heidi Marti's picture exhibition. (which is great by the way❣️) Someone came to us immediately and showed us the way. Later we enjoyed a “local” orange cider, homemade iced tea and a wonderful dessert in the dining room. Service & ambience are great... We will come back... THANK YOU✒️

Young, very motivated team. Creative modern cuisine with excellent meat, but also imaginative vegetarian and vegan dishes. Everything is homemade and handmade, lovingly prepared and often served and commented on personally by the chef.

First visit… Great restaurant. Local products. Very good cuisine! No convenience. Here we cook, marinate, pickle and bake ourselves. Very good price-performance! We had: beef tartare, burgers and homemade ice cream. Always happy 🫶🏻😍🙏 Great petit four (cake pop) with the bill. Unfortunately the burger patty was overcooked 😞

It was a really nice evening with very, very good food. We were served with a lot of passion, friendliness and humor. My celiac disease and celery allergy were taken into consideration very carefully. Thank you very much, I really appreciated that and felt very comfortable. My birthday was also warmly included :-). We will be back. The regional and local food is a true experience. Keep it up:)

Rating only regarding dinner and therefore WITHOUT overnight stay. Hot stone was okay, but it's better elsewhere. Homemade fries are a bit soggy and greasy. Ambience old, but furnished with a lot of love. Service was very friendly, attentive and accommodating.

We held our general meeting of the Bärg4er club in the Alpina Einhorn and were given a wonderfully quiet corner. The service, the staff, the restaurant and the entire menu (all regional) were wonderful and gave us a fantastically nice general meeting of our club. We always enjoy coming here for a delicious beer after a hike or a flight...

It's unbelievable what Joel Odermatt and his crew have conjured up from the Alpina. The restaurant, the individual halls and the winter garden were redesigned with an ingenious color concept. The excellent regional and seasonal cuisine from Victor Stein and his team is highly recommended. The experienced service staff presents a great wine list with selected Swiss wines. With the tried and tested event manager Manuel Streule, things really get going. Reservations are recommended for exceptional occasions and great experiences. I'm looking forward to cool events and good food at the new Alpina Einhorn.

Almost everything is very good, except for the atmosphere; i.e. everything is a bit bare, no shame in the background music either. Drinking beer or other drinks, serving up something to nibble on (salty; cips, salt sticks, nuts), it's also tempting to perhaps drink a second or third beer. Very friendly serving staff.
