Amorino in Basel

The chocolate is very good, dense and very rich. The place is a little small but the atmosphere is pleasant.

Everything was perfect! My fav combo are pistachio, choc amorino and mango 🤤 Also the ladies that are working here are much nicer and friendlier than the one in Milan 😬

Always a pleasure! This selection! These flavors! The smell! The colors - the eye eats too. Everything is great for a summer feeling in autumn and refreshment in summer 👍🤩

Despite the fact they are open long they do not serve full menu. No info anywhere, so we travelled for Waffle but they „do not make waffles or crepes late”. Waffle machines and crepe machines are there, just the willingness to close quicker. Not nice.

Seats are supposedly always reserved, but as soon as women ask for a seat, the spot is suddenly free.

It is very sad that when a waffle with ice cream costs CHF 16.00, it is served by a lady who only speaks French, and this is in Basel. I find this very worrying...

Amazing gelato!! We went to the one in Basel and it is hands down the best gelato we have ever tried!! You won’t regret it :) It’s not just gelato, it’s an experience of quality and presentation.

We waited 5 minutes and the two people working at that moment didn't even look at us and ignored us completely, it should be noted that there was no one there (excellent service)

What great customer service they have. With our limited German the cashier was VERY patient with dealing with us Americans I had a vegan milkshake and my husband had a small cup. All were great. We may go back tonight.

Lots of choice and a treat for the palate

We had the most wonderful time here :) The staff is very friendly and attentive. We went here multiple times on our little long weekend trip, and had about 20 different flavours. The system of choosing a size and filling it with as many flavours, is lovely and also different to other gelato places. We did not have the world famous gelato flowers, our gelato (We had it without whipped cream) was in cups. All flavours we tried were delicious, especially the mandarin one that one of the staff advised I try :). Blood orange and ginger was also very delicious. We also came here after we got engaged to celebrate with a delicious dessert. The coffee, latte specifically, tastes wonderful too. The hazelnut paste is very creamy ♡ This place is well worth a visit.

Very delicious and very nice staff

Waffles looked great but they didn't taste great if you eat them without topping. Ice cream was great. I thought it was a shame that you didn't get real cutlery for this price, just tiny wooden cutlery that was very uncomfortable to eat with. The furnishings inside were very nice, but the chairs outside were wobbly and very narrow. If someone is corpulent, I wouldn't recommend sitting on it. Value for money overpriced for what it was.

Crepes are not made fresh but are frozen products and are only warmed up. Not recommended.

Great ice cream, beautifully presented too! You can also ask then to mix few flavors in the same cone as different "petals" (as they put a cone content in to look like a flower, not a regular ball)

A must go to ice cream parlor!! One of the best gelato I had in town!! The best is their presentation in which they make it look like a flower 🌹 and this is not it, you can choose upto three flavours!! My personal favourite is mango, stracciatella, blueberry infact all berry!! Do go to this parlor located in the center!!

An incredibly delicious ice cream - almost PERFECT! But the concept, a disaster. You wait and wait and wait... certain customers take 6 varieties and can't decide... do it again with balls: 1 / 2 or 3 - that's it! The waitresses step on each other's feet, almost everyone wants vanilla, there's a traffic jam! Also: My wife and I both had the same size cone. I was served by a different lady as my wife but we each had 3 types. My wife had at least twice as much ice cream in her cone! My waitress had a lot of trouble with the “rose petals”. I felt sorry for her because the crowd behind us was already starting to rebel. The concept is rubbish! The ice cream is WORLD CLASS!

We discovered this ice cream parlor by chance and got some ice cream. The presentation reminded me a little of the atmosphere on Lake Garda. Here you pay based on the size of the cup and not the ball. You can choose several varieties in one cup. The ice cream is spread into the cup like typical Italian and tastes very tasty. Unfortunately a bit expensive.
