Staff can't really give competent information about the ingredients of the bread. Bread tastes delicious.

Extremely hard ham sandwich, but still more appreciable than the service. Really poor and rude.

I love this bakery, since I don't drink coffee, they also have matcha tea, and just great bread, everything is good there...and great service 🥰

cozy bakery! Café in the center of Bern.

Delicious breakfast in a cozy atmosphere. The ladies at the counter are all very nice and made me feel welcome. I can highly recommend the black tea (nylon tea bags filled with whole tea leaves). The baked goods are fresh and taste like home-made. It was a pleasure. The rear café area invites you to linger with its baroque furnishings and comfortable chairs.

Organic angel bread always inspires me. I haven't found a comparable bread here in Swabia 🙏

Very fine selection of baked goods, salads, sandwiches and soups of the day. Things go well here, especially at midday. Regardless of whether you sit inside or outside after self-service, it is always an experience. Price-performance is top.

Always after visiting the doctor I head straight across the street and then have a comfort food... who else could do that better than Ängelibeck. Every piece, every sandwich, every bread is simply heavenly fine😍

Probably one of the best bakeries in Bern and the surrounding area. Very good sandwiches, breads, sweets and salads. The soups are extremely good and can be taken away. The sandwiches are certainly not the cheapest in terms of price, but they taste very good. The staff is friendly, stressed at peak times. Very popular at lunchtime and always full.

The pateis de nata I got here was absolutely delicious. I'm so glad I stopped in while walking by because this made stopping in Bern totally worth it. It was filled with creamy custard, topped with perfectly caramelized top, and crispy crust. It's not as flaky as I'm used to but still tasted amazing!! Definitely coming back when I get a chance
