Apertura in Flüelen

The best pizzas around. The pizza dough itself is phenomenal. The other dishes are also great. Friendly service, nice atmosphere. Everything is wonderful.

Located directly on the lake. The atmosphere is very relaxed and we still spontaneously got a seat in a reservation gap during the music evening. It looks very cozy and inviting. The service was ok so far, I think it was just busy. The food was very tasty and I had a wonderfully fizzy Aperol Spritz for the first time in a long time, which definitely needs to be mentioned. We would like to come again.

Three weeks ago I made a reservation for 10 people. The plan was that we arrive by the long journey boat from Lucerne at 12pm and leave again for the 2pm boat. Two days before I called once again to see if the reservation was still in their books and it was. I then told the gentleman on the phone that I would check the menu online while on the boat so that when we arrive, we do not loose time to find the right menu. Unfortunately when we reach the restaurant we learnt that the online menu was not valid and we shall choose from the hardcopy menu. Anyways, we all chose our meals and gave the order, however part of the drinks arrived within minutes but the rest was not delivered. Then we had to ask if the other drinks could be served too. Meanwhile lots of people arrived in the restaurant and with no exception all of them received their meals whereas we were waiting despite the fact that we had to catch the 2pm boat. Of course the time was not enough for a dessert or a coffee and we had to pay and rush back to the boat. The meal was not spectacular either. I had a mixed salade (see the picture) Well I ask myself now, what would be a reason to go back to this place again?

Unfriendly service: At the reception you are left standing until everyone's patience breaks. And this despite the fact that the entire workforce rushes past you. I've hardly ever seen anything so unprofessional. On my last visit I was more or less tolerated as a guest. I've learned my lesson, you'll never see me here with this innkeeper again!

The kitchen closes at 21.30 and the restaurant - at 22.30 at Wednesday, it should be stated in their working hours in Google. However, the location is great and the cocktails are nice.

Good location, prices OK, kitchen OK - don't order the Pizza Napolitana (bread with canned tomato puree - DISASTER!), it's inedible. Staff unprofessional and very unfriendly to the point of being arrogant (pushing them away - I have to get through here, tackle it). Please don't order at the bar but go to the table during the party after 10 p.m., cash out and have to wait over 20 minutes for the coffee - It's already paid for...) You won't see me again until a limited time.

Enjoyed super fine gnocchi and a glass of fine wine. Unfortunately the coffee machine went on strike, which was unfortunate for the staff and we ended lunch without espresso. Gladly another time

One of the few restaurants in Flüelen directly on the lake. That's why we were happy to take the walk from the Schifflände to the restaurant. When we got there we found a dirty and untidy terrace. Nevertheless, we wanted to treat ourselves to a lounge right by the lake. Although there were pillows everywhere, it was not possible to add pillows to our lounge and we were moved to a table in the third row from the lake. We then left with nothing accomplished.

The employees are very welcoming. Drinks came very quickly and the food was very tasty. The location right on the lake and the view are great.

The garden restaurant is beautifully located on Lake Uri and serves fine food. The service staff were very friendly, only one person got a little irritated in a stressed moment, but she immediately regained control - chapeau!

The restaurant offers delicious food and boasts a beautiful location with scenic views. However, the absence of parking facilities, disorganized staff mixing up orders, and bothersome flies detracted from the overall experience. Guests are required to park their cars 1 km away, which is inconvenient. The staff's lack of attention to detail was evident in the mix-up of starters and drinks. Additionally, the presence of flies was disruptive and made it challenging to enjoy the meal fully. These shortcomings led us to forgo ordering dessert. Despite the positives, the issues mentioned need to be addressed to improve the overall dining experience.

One of the most beautiful places on Lake Uri! It's worth a visit, great atmosphere especially in the evening with the many lights. Sometimes there is also live music. The food was delicious, including the dessert! I recommend making a table reservation online or by phone in advance.

Beautiful place to stop. We only had a beer there. The view is beautiful! Parking is difficult. You need Swiss Francs (coins) to pay at a parking meter. The first 45 minutes are free where we parked. Staff was very nice too!

Very pretty restaurant right on Lake Uri. There are no parking spaces at the restaurant. There's a lot going on. Good selection, reasonable prices. Somewhat long waiting times. But it's worth it.

We have eaten very well. The people are very kind, attentive and friendly. There was blue cord stuffed with gorgonzola, etc. and I asked for it normally and they very kindly made it for me. The truth is that the views and the food are magnificent!! You can not ask for more. We will be back!

Excellent summer Restaurant with stunning views and own pier to arrive with your own boat. Space for about 4-5 boats. The food is good, pizzas are excellent and everything is cooked and prepared with love to the detail. During summer there are also events and live music. Apertura is worth a visit by boat or by foot. It’s only a 2 min walk from SBB Flüelen Station or the parking at the SBB.

Truly a great afternoon. We're here for coffee. Coffee was really good and the service was very friendly and attentive. We'll definitely go back

The food is very good, but unfortunately the new guests take over the tables uncleanly.

Excellent service . The food is good for a restaurant with Italian food located in Switzerland.

Unfortunately, on a sunny Saturday, the company was closed, so there were a lot of people who turned around. The fact that the restaurant does not accept external guests due to a private occasion is not even the problem. But it would be nice to add a short info on Google or the website. Some information is still available about winter opening times or the last Pentecost (web homepage). Dear Apertura team, please update your opening times if possible, your guests will thank you. The location looks beautiful, you can enjoy the sun all day long. The next time I visit, I'll call just to be on the safe side.

A very nice place at the lake with stunning views. We had vitello tonnato for starters, tuna with wasabi purée and white pizza. All was tasty, and good portions. The purée was lumpy but taste wise good, tuna was excellent. I really liked their pizza, highly recommended! The service was good, i’d come back!

During the week, the three of us were spontaneously served at a table without a reservation after only a short wait (the restaurant was completely full and there were already several people waiting). The food was prepared and served quickly and the drink service was also impeccable. The meals were very delicious. The summer atmosphere that evening was indescribably beautiful. We can only recommend an evening at the Apertura sundeck!!! Thank you

Today, Sunday June 26th, 2022, the four of us wanted to have dessert at 9:10 p.m.! The "friendly" gentleman in service pointed out to us that they close at 9 p.m. on Sunday!!! I want to say loud and clear that you guys are so unprofessional if you don't even have your websites under control!! YOU CAN'T TAKE YOU SERIOUSLY!!! Grow up first! You'll never see me again!

We wanted to celebrate our anniversary at a table right by the water so we reserved and confirmed it. All the tables right by the lake were occupied and we were seated in the second row. The table was dirty, there were no placemats. We ordered Prosecco for the aperitif, which came in a dirty glass. The food was very tasty. Vitello Tonnato (very large portion as a starter) Burrata and then risotto with blueberries and bacon-wrapped chicken with asparagus ravioli was very good. But what was really disturbing was the live music played by the one-man musician. He also walked around with the hat on every 20 minutes and asked the (eating) guests for money for the music. The fact that he is still discussing things with everyone and trying to persuade them to donate, even at the end via Twint, is very disturbing. Most of the waiters are also not very friendly. Conclusion: apart from the really delicious food, it was just disappointing.

Super delicious, regional cuisine and the location is amazing. Right on the water with your own jetty. If you sit outside you have a wonderful view of Lake Uri and the mountains - fantastic! The prices correspond to the level in Switzerland.

Absolute recommendation! The restaurant is right on the water. Everything is chic and stylishly decorated. There's a bar, swings in the trees and a jetty overlooking the turquoise water. The food was very nicely prepared and tasted excellent. The selection of drinks is large and the beer is delicious. The price is high (like everywhere else in Switzerland), the main courses start at around €20, and fish and meat cost €30-40. Because of the ambience (there was even live music when we visited during the week) and the food, we can recommend the sun deck. PS: If the weather is nice, be sure to reserve in advance, we were lucky and got the last table.
