Apulia Ristorante Pizzeria in Jegenstorf

Reception was pretty bad. I was the only guest on a Monday 6:00 p.m. Already a bad sign. I decided on the menu special menu. Mixed salad, beef fillet on the hot stone with vegetables and fries. including three different sauces. Tiramisu for dessert. Well, the salad came with a ready-made Italian sauce without being asked, and no one asked what side dish for the main course. The stone is only lukewarm in 5 minutes. The vegetables are cold and the sauces are ready-made products. Very unfortunate. You couldn't go wrong with wine. The Ripasso was very good. The tiramisu at the end was again tip-top and homemade. There was also a limoncello. Between the salad and the main course, a pizza burned. Extreme smoke development.

Is a restaurant where we will definitely go again

It was a very good dinner with excellent service. Good presentation of the dishes. Nice venue. We are happy to return.

Focaccia was simply pizza dough with salmon, onions and capers. Dry without olive oil, not fluffy and without spice/oregano. Mixed salad with poorly bought sauce. It wasn't asked whether it was Italian or French sauce. There was also a salad drink in it. (see image) Entrecote was not asked what I would like as a side dish, even though there was a choice of side dish. On my own initiative, I said I wanted french fries with it. They came 10-15 minutes after the meat. The sauces for the meat were poorly purchased. Homemade would be nice. Pizza Regina was with buffalo mozzarella. Mozzarella was in one big chunk and cold on the pizza. A matter of taste. I only know this from Burratta. Dough made from three types of flour: white, wholemeal and corn. A matter of taste. The selection of garlic oil, hot oil, spices and oregano was good. Martini Rosso on the menu but not available when ordered. Plus point: There is a limoncello on the bill. There are only 3 parking spaces for the Apulia. Were already occupied on Friday at 6:30 p.m. Other parking lots are threatened with towing. Bad feeling.

I recently had my birthday dinner at this restaurant. My salad barely had any salad dressing. The pizza was served even though I hadn't finished the salad yet. The food was otherwise good and satisfying.

Unfortunately we found the whole thing unsatisfactory. When we arrived at the restaurant it took all of 10 minutes before we were served or even asked what we would like to drink. The food was served afterwards, but no one seemed to need to remove the extra dishes to make more space. You had to tell the service yourself or ask: "Could you please clear away the glasses? We hardly have any space." The vegetables and rice with the meat were cold. Unusually, the hot stone also cooled down within 5 minutes, something that has never happened to us before. We had to wait 15 to 20 minutes for the plates to be cleared from the table (during which other guests were regularly served). When we wanted to pay or had questions, we had to wait another 15 minutes. Finally we got up ourselves and went to the counter. People there seemed to prefer chatting with guests or local family. When we said goodbye, instead of a polite "Merci Schöne Abe" we heard an indifferent "Ade merci". That really doesn't work. There was clearly a lack of basic respect, especially at the end. It should be noted that the restaurant was not even fully occupied. It seems as if they don't want to treat the guests who come with a voucher the same as the other customers. We had this impression again. Overall, I can't recommend either the food or the service.

Food wouldn't actually be that bad. Service rarely comes by. Poor ventilation (lots of smoke in the guest area). Parking lot signage is catastrophic, something that should definitely be warned about, especially first and last visitors.

Good evening, I tried this restaurant, from the appetizers to the dessert. The starters were so good that you couldn't take them out of your mouth and so were the first courses. And finally the tiramisu was so soft and creamy that I wouldn't eat it anywhere. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who has a good appetite and is a good eater. .Well done

Unfortunately, I have to change my rating: This is not "bashing" or bad intentions, on the contrary, I hope the company takes something from it and changes it if necessary. We used to be regular guests until the owner changed. *The menu contains very few meat dishes. The only main course on the menu that contains meat is lasagna, or pizzas that contain meat. As a starter I saw carpaccio. I would say a maximum of 10% of the dishes contain meat. I find that to be very little. *The waiter (probably the owner) served us in a friendly manner. Which was strange though. He made no recommendation of soapstone. When we were eating we noticed that almost all of the other guests had eaten soapstone. But no one told us that this existed. There was nothing noted on the card either. We felt that was unfair. The lasagna I ordered was a disaster. Very little lasagne sheets (pasta) included. The temperature of the food was borderline, not really hot. It was hard to get full because of the crowd. Somehow a mistake happened and we had to wait longer. That can happen, I understand that. The starter that was given as a gift wasn't really that great in terms of taste. The absolute shame was when the ice cream we ordered (Denmark vanilla ice cream with chocolate) had ice crystals on it. This suggests that the goods used have been stored for too long and are not stored properly. (Yes, I can judge that, I have completed an apprenticeship as a chef). I gratefully declined the Limoncello that was given away as a standardized gift. It couldn't have saved the evening either. Summarized: -Quality of food -Far too small a selection of meat products -The guest is not informed about the entire offer. Very cold environment, hard pizza dough, price 1 liter of water = 12 Francs, very excessive for jegenstorf. Limoncello offered, but does not compensate for the mistakes made. I'm definitely not coming back again.

Very good, but artisanal pasta not fresh. While passing through I'm looking for where to go to eat pizza with the family, so we decide to call and reserve at the Apulia restaurant in Jegenstorf. Once we arrived we were immediately welcomed and given a table, luckily there weren't many people. As our first time in Apulia, we were struck by the atmosphere of this restaurant. Let's move straight on to ordering, and seeing fresh pasta on the paper we abandon the idea of ​​pizza, it will be for next time. We then order a plate of tagliolini with clams, paccheri with seafood and a beef carpaccio without rocket which, however, had been added when it was time to serve the rocket. This is perhaps the only mistake, but another thing I would like to point out is that the dishes were too seasoned with oil and remained a little heavy to digest. It should also be noted that the pasta is not made on site and that fresh pasta as described on the card should perhaps be changed to artisanal pasta and insert the origin. Fresh pasta is something else. We had a good time, the friendly service, good food and a very nice and clean place. The value for money is also good. We ask for the bill and finally they offered us a good limoncino as a digestive, thank you. We hope to come back for the pizza next time, thank you!

Everything is just right here, from the food to the hospitality (and an espresso like in Italy, not just brown water as is usually the case in the area). You can tell there are Italians in the kitchen here. Also pizzas like in Italy (and delivered without a kebab smell, as often happens in town). I wish you much success!

There is simply nothing comparable in the region. Today I had a bruschetta, a pizza diavola and the homemade tiramisu. The bruschetta was good, but could have been a little stronger in taste, the bread was great, but in my opinion the tomatoes could do with a little more salt and pepper, ideally if they added a little garlic. Nonetheless, a solid 4/5 The pizza was just amazing, from a real Italian restaurant, although not wood-fired, still 5/5. Nice airy dough, baked crispy. The ratio between sauce and cheese is on point. What really surprised me was that the freshly cut salami was only added to the pizza after it was baked. Unfortunately, very few people do that, and the pizza was also drizzled with olive oil at the end. As I said, no “Arabic” pizza from the area can compete. I can only say 5/5 about the tiramisu. Nice and fluffy, slightly not too sweet. I can only recommend this pizzeria to everyone, I will definitely order again.
