Asia King in Winterthur

The food was tasty but nothing exceptional. I thought it was great that there were also a few vegetarian menus. The service was friendly but very slow. We spent about 1h45min in the restaurant. If the restaurant were really nice and the atmosphere was great, then you could have enjoyed the waiting time. But it's nice to have someone making an effort and improving the area. It also has a few parking spaces and the restaurant is right next to Töss train station.

We've been there several times before and it was great. Unfortunately disappointing this time. Unfortunately, my dish with rice noodles had no noodles, a lot of chicken, few vegetables and was completely over-seasoned, which was a shame. The rest was ok but nothing more. Service was friendly.

İf you haven’t eaten aver nepali or indian food, maybe you think it’s ok. But even then… the best was the chilly sauce.

Taste of nepal in switzerland....just amazing.

After 2 weeks in Europe we wanted something with a bit of zing to it. While we didn’t find anything spicy the food was good. We actually were there in August so sat outside and the Atmosphere was great. Service was good and reasonably priced. If we go back to Winterthur we will be back and the people we visited said they would probably be there often.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this amazing Asian restaurant, and I must say it was a delightful experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and excellent service. The ambiance was relaxing and comfortable, with beautiful décor and soft lighting. Every dish we ordered was simply delicious, bursting with authentic Asian flavors and spices. The presentation of the food was stunning, and the portions were just right. The food was amazing, especially enjoyed the MoMo very much. The staff was attentive without being overbearing, and they went out of their way to ensure that we were happy with every dish. Overall, A must visit, if you are really fond of good food like me who likes to experience happiness through the tastebuds, appreciating, admiring and respecting good consistent food and sharing it with dear ones. Try it, you won't regret it. 🙂👌

Katastrophe MOMO is TRADITIONAL TIBETAN FOOD. But u guys misuse the content. It taste like cheap CHINESE dumping flavoured with sugar Remember MOMO is only good at TIBETAN RESTAURANT, coz its only THERE FOOD. Its like BIRJANI food of INDIA eating in CHINESE RESTAURANT

Friendly service, fine food, authentic ambience - what more could you want?

With a lot of anticipation we wanted to have a really good Nepalese lunch there. A huge disappointment. There were just 3 menus to choose from: vegetarian, fish, or meat (pork). Fish was good, but they can't do pork (and we don't like it either) That's it for us with this restaurant, maybe you'll eat better there in the evening, but based on my experience I highly doubt that. It's a shame for the time and money.

We love the Himalayan Curry Poulet with jasmine rice, it was full of taste, has a spicy kick and pairs very well with Chardonnay :) Tomato soup was normal, big portions and filling! The restaurant is a family business, run by true Nepalis and the staff are very friendly and chatted with us (we are travellers).

Quite simply the best Nepalese resturant in wintertur, switzerland.Extensive menu of absolutely delicious food, nailing all of the classics while also adding plenty of other creative options.We went twice within a week after establishing none of the local competitors were on the same level. The guests sit outside drinking, talking to each other and smoking. And the restaurant apparently doesn't sell cigarettes!!! I've already bought there, but yesterday they said in an unfriendly, xenophobic tone "no, we don't sell"!!! Very bad

Decent Nepalese food. Located in a quiet area, outside terrace, friendly staff.

Supper delicious food, even if it takes a bit to be served; You can be sure that everything is freshly prepared. The innkeepers are friendly, cosmopolitan and always in the mood to have fun. The portions are generous, so no one goes hungry, even if they arrive 10 minutes before the restaurant closes.

First of all, the food is usually what we as Swiss expect in a Nepalese restaurant. The selection offers something for everyone. The service is friendly, but dealing with complaints and feedback is difficult. It's probably due to the mentality of not wanting to face unpleasant situations. What bothers me personally is that the plates always come out of the kitchen with dirty edges. Furthermore, the portions are rather small for the prices paid.

When I first read the reviews I was hopeful it was going to be true, and oh my days it is!! We've ordered 4 times now in as many weeks and each time it's been delicious. No fuss; no frills; solid Asian dish! verblüffend !!

When we moved to Winterthur a year ago, we spontaneously visited this restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by the good food and the friendly service. With Corona and everything, we forgot about the restaurant. Today we visited the restaurant again and had a great experience with good food, drinks and dessert. We'd love to come back. Very cozy and homely atmosphere, a nice, open and humorous Nepalese family who run the restaurant. The food is very tasty, you can choose the spiciness yourself and the portions are just right. The selection is very large and even special requests can be fulfilled easily. I liked it very much, I would like to come back.

I am very impressed by the menus served in Asia King. The foods served here are very delicious and very fast.

The ambience is very welcoming and charming, not to mention their amazing servings.It is my go to place whenever I crave for Asian cuisines.

Leider anstelle der angesagten 45 Min. Wartezeit 2.5 Stunden. Essen lauwarm, Qualität in Ordnung, Essen grundsätzlich gut, könnte etwas mehr gewürzt sein. Das Ganze erscheint und überteuert.
