There is constant noise all night long (loud music)

The sound insulation is poor, and the heavy bass sound from the nightclub on the seventh floor can be heard on the third floor. Breakfast items are on the small side. The hair dryer is dusty inside and looks very old. The sink is very small, like the size you would use to rinse your mouth at the dentist. The water alternates between cold and hot, making it difficult to maintain a certain temperature. No refrigerator.

I find the hotel has an excellent location , along all major bus route. If I get on #8 , I will arrive the Auto/ Technical museum within 20 minutes, if I get on Bus #1, I will get to the bottom of Mount Pilatus in 20-25 minutes, walking distance to train station and downtown. Room is not very new but nicely maintain. The bed and pillow is comfortable.

Stayed here 9th-10th March 2024. The hotel looks the part but failed to deliver for me. Goods points: Sockets had USBs, the lobby looked nice, upgraded our room, but i don't even know if that was a bonus or not as there was multiple dislikes about the room. close to the station and town. Bad points: The rug in the room was stained, they didn't clean it properly. the room we was given was a poor design, i don't know if its the whole hotel but our room was not nice to stay in, they have a glass partition and you can hear everything through the glass, no lock on the door (luckily i was with my wife), the wardrobe is in the bathroom with poor ventilation, so if your hanging clothes they would be covered in condensation from the shower. no kettle in the room, only a coffee maker, had to request for a kettle. no mini fridge in the room. i felt the staff in reception had no personality at all or any welcoming experience, literally checked us in and didn't even say enjoy your stay. and on check out was the same, handed the key card back and that's all. it's a pretty hotel to look at from the lobby but the rest isn't great. there is a club next door so be warned it will get noisy.

The breach of trust and security within the premises is unacceptable, and it tarnished what could have been a memorable stay in Lucerne. In conclusion, while Hotel Astoria may offer appealing accommodations and amenities, the unfortunate experience of having cash stolen from our room safe significantly detracted from our overall satisfaction. I urge prospective guests to exercise caution and reconsider their choice of accommodation until the hotel addresses these security concerns and demonstrates a commitment to guest safety and accountability.

The LaCucina restaurant is very authentic. The food was very good. Great wine selection 🍷 Prices are a bit high, but it's in the city...

Short walking distant to the famous iconic bridge and tower at Luzern. Only 7 minutes walk to Luzern main station. Food at its Mekong restaurant was bad in taste and expensive. The hotel staff, front desk are all consistently helpful and polite. Room is clean and comfortable.

High-end hotel in the center of Lucerne. A few steps from the station, the historic center and with a lot of gastronomic and bar options nearby. In the same hotel there are 3 restaurants and the best thing is the rooftop bar. The room they gave me was huge, they upgraded me, with 3 of 4 entire glass walls and a large bed. The bad thing, and it always happens to me in this part of the world, is the pillows, which are soft and I can't handle them but since it's been 2 nights...

The Astoria Hotel in Lucerne is one of the best hotel for Meetings and Event, but not only, if you want to visit the city during the weekend in family too. Lucern is a great city, stay at a different hotel.

The hotel was really luxurious when we entered, I was very surprised on how it looks. The staff was really friendly as well, the dinner and breakfast we ate was really good as well. For the room, it looked okay, the bed was just weird. Otherwise, everything is good and the hotel is very nice.

Convenient location just out of the city center; it is still a noisy location. Room was an awkward studio with no doors between room and bathroom (toilet or shower). Air system allowed minimal adjustments and hotel was very warm. Window can be opened but there are smokers and the “view” is about 6’ from the opposite room; zero privacy without blackout curtains.

The room is better than I expected. It's close to Lucerne Station and the facilities are good.

3 person room but funny thing is there was no door to the bathroom. Other than that, room as spacious with WIFI and the usual amenities. Very close to the main shopping area and walking distance to the train station and tourist areas.

The ambience is breathtaking and the staff is very friendly. Unfortunately the main courses didn't taste particularly good. We can recommend the starter plate even more.

I loved this hotel. The location was perfect. It’s close to tons of food and shopping and just around the corner from the bus/train station. Our beds were comfy and cozy!! I loved the rainfall shower but they have the option to have a regular shower if you don’t like the rainfall option. The bathroom was roomy and 2 people could maneuver around easily. The breakfast had a great selection, I especially liked all the variety of teas. Lastly the hotel staff were wonderful. They were very friendly and when we needed a taxi to go to hospital in the middle of the night they were very helpful with arranging a ride for us. The only drawback is our room was a little on the small size but I feel like that’s pretty common for Europe. And the size of the room didn’t take away from the experience. If I’m in Lucerne again I would stay here again.

Was here with a tour group. The rooms were clean and modern, breakfast buffet had good options, and location was convenient. Only issue was a warm room with no AC. Having the window open did help however the people on the street were loud during the night.

The music was blaring at a party place next door... the receptionist interrupts you when you talk to her... joke... the room is nice, but that's not enough.

Beautiful artsy & boutique hotel ... lovely stay. Great hospitality. Staff at checkin was more than helpful & even went out of their way on Multiple requests I had. Major convenience having self park in their private basement parking lot as parking in the city is time consuming and costly. Roof top bar penthouse and indoor restaurants is a hot spot in the city ... only thing I regret was location of my room 3001 by elevator and adjacent to main lobby area. Noises from people walking by and waiting for elevator and service room (laundry / construction etc) kept waking me up multiple times through out the night. I would certainly recommend this hotel and come visit again.
