This restaurant has become one of my favorites in town, everything is there, the flavors, the authenticity, the impeccable service (especially little Yazid who explains everything in detail, a real dictionary 😁), I recommend it to everyone

Poor service: we book by phone, when we arrive we are told that we can choose our table, once seated and 5 minutes later we are asked to change tables because new customers have arrived. It starts strong. The food was very good but the portions are tiny (3 mini lamb chops for 39.-) which makes it very expensive per mouthful. And at this price, don't count on the waitress to serve you your beer. She just puts it on the table. Finally, our 2 dishes arrived about 10 minutes apart. Bad experience we were disappointed

I don't recommend it. I won't go back there. There was an entry on the menu with truffle. But there was no truffle. The prices are very high for what is offered. I got sick. The presentation is certainly pretty but the quantity and quality are not there.

We visited the restaurant for the first time last Friday evening for dinner. The fusion mix of Moroccan and Indian cuisine was exquisite. We really enjoyed the various sharing plates - you order from the menu and share the dishes “tabulate / family style”. This way you get to enjoy and taste many different specialties. All plates were very beautifully decorated and presented. A grateful thank you also to Chef Nasser Jeffane who shared some of his time answering my curious questions. We are looking forward to returning.

The Moroccan Chef Nasser, God willing, may God bless him, is the undisputed Master Chef of Geneva. I invited my colleagues at work, and we ordered the briwat appetizers and the main course of the grilled shoulder. The briwat dish is a symphony of delicious tastes, and the grilled shoulder dish has melted and delicious meat and comes with potatoes, rice, and yogurt salad. An experience that will be repeated, God willing.

A great discovery, excellent dishes. We had the tasting menu, everything was very good and plentiful. We will return and highly recommend.

The dishes are beautifully presented and are very good, the price a little high. But unfortunately everything was ruined by the service, the first waitress not welcoming, nonchalant about the 2ND, she didn't seem to want to work, tried to impose the menus on us, she didn't seem like wanting to work, she tried to impose the menus on us, she didn't suggest or explain anything to us. Very bad atmosphere with aggressive and cold staff.

Be careful, Attscam! Cattarstrophic service: reserve a table to wait outside for half an hour, be offered a drink which will then be charged for - and how! - order at 8:30 p.m. to receive starters and main courses at the same time at 10 p.m. - cold dishes -, get hung up on the next day, because no, the drinks were not offered. Impressive lack of professionalism, but a second Star for the French waitress who was nice to us, despite her smell of cigarettes.

This is the opinion of a Moroccan with the demands of a palate accustomed to this gastronomy: it is a pride to have a chef who knows how to highlight traditional dishes with his special touch without necessarily the denatured. We appreciate the attention to detail in the decor, the dishes and the general atmosphere. The team takes great care, a real sense of service and that’s a pleasure and makes the experience truly enjoyable. The menu changes often and the menu always has originality and an explosion of flavors in the mouth! A must-see address in Geneva and undoubtedly in Switzerland! Congratulations to Chef Nasser for his cuisine and hospitality and to the entire team!

By far my favorite restaurant in Geneva, I never miss an opportunity to go there. For one-on-one or for a slightly larger table, the setting is perfect. The cuisine is a story that the staff invites you to discover. A taste pleasure but also for the eyes, the dressing is breathtaking!

This is one of the best place in Geneva. Very nice Atmosphere and Food is absolutely delicious - A wonderful mix of flavour with all the best oriental influences. From Naan and oriental Dahl, to Zaalouk and Maakouda, Attar took the best of all. I recommend the fish or the Lamb for the main. Cherry on top, they have an amazing wine list (as a French I must say is a pleasure to have). Good quality price ratio - especially for Geneva where it is usually a challenge… Thumbs up to the chef and the owners who make this place feeling like home.

In my mind one of the best restaurants in Geneva. We came with our family, different generations with 8 people and took many different dishes for sharing, which were all tasting excellent. The atmosphere, the very warm staff members plus the food and drinks made it an unforgettable experience. As soon as we will come back to Geneva this summer we will go back to this lovely restaurant.

I had dinner with my boyfriend on a Saturday night, what an unpleasant experience ! The waitress was arrogant and wanted us to order a lot of dishes. She strongly insisted that we take chef menu, we had to tell her 3 times that we were not hungry enough for it and didn’t wanted to waste food. The final bill was still crazy expensive. What a shame because the venu is welcoming and the food tasted delicious. To avoid if you are looking for pleasant evening.

Update: the owner called me threatening to kill me, “beat my face” etc. if I didn't remove this review. We have evidence and witnesses. A complaint will be filed very quickly. This matter will go far. Confirmed reputation, aggressive attitude and exorbitant prices at Attar. We went to the Attar restaurant in Geneva as a group. We had originally booked for 10 people, but there ended up being 7 of us because 3 people couldn't come and didn't notify us. A friend of ours had warned us that the restaurant had a reputation for being pushy, and unfortunately, this was confirmed. As soon as we arrived, the staff and the owner put pressure on us to order large dishes at excessive prices. The situation got worse when the owner blamed us for not having ordered enough due to cancellations. His attitude was bossy, rude and completely inappropriate. We were all shocked by this confrontation, especially since we have always been friendly and courteous. She even said to us, “You probably have problems with your friends,” which was really inappropriate. Taking into account everything that has been said previously and the inappropriate attitude of the owner, I think this is one of the worst value for money in my life (110.- per person) and yet I have frequented many restaurants. THE The dishes were very good but the hospitality 0. It is regrettable to see that a restaurant with such potential is spoiled by such behavior towards its customers. In summary, our experience at Attar was ruined by the aggressive attitude of the owner and staff, the pressure to order expensive food, and the overall atmosphere. We do not recommend Attar Restaurant if you are looking for a pleasant, peaceful and affordable experience to spend an evening with friends.

I recently had the chance to dine at Attar, which was of exceptional quality. As soon as I walked through the doors of this restaurant, I was greeted warmly by the staff. They quickly seated me at a comfortable table and presented me with the menu. The variety of dishes offered was incredible, and I had a hard time choosing what I wanted to try. We therefore opted for the tasting menu, and I must say that we were amazed. The ingredients were fresh and top quality, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. I was also impressed by the presentation of the dishes, which was simply magnificent. The service was also very good. The staff was attentive and helpful without being overbearing, and they made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The restaurant decor was also very pleasant. It was both elegant and comfortable, and I enjoyed the calm and relaxed atmosphere there. If you are looking for a place to eat good food and have a pleasant evening, I highly recommend this restaurant.

We came with colleagues this Saturday, February 25 in the evening, on the recommendation of one of us... who had never been but had had a lot of positive feedback (and not just online). Well, I must say that this restaurant lives up to its reputation, with a relaxed and neat setting, diverse dishes going beyond North African cuisine and in rather generous portions. The presentation of the “shared” dishes is efficient and the prices are average for Geneva standards. The choice of drinks is quite wide. We will come back with pleasure!

Mixed, the meal was good and the setting pleasant. The staff lacks a little professionalism compared to the price of the dishes. Very surprised at the price asked for the plate service for bringing a cake (10.-/person).

Very very unpleasant experience. The waiter took the liberty of asking us to change tables under the pretext that they needed to make room for 3 people. We accepted because we believed it was sincere or that it was simply a lie. He simply decided to give the table to his friends whom he kissed when they arrived. So the manager allows himself to create preferences between customers, to spoil the customer experience, to disturb his customers and above all he allows himself to lie. Even if the food is good, human relationships and values ​​are poor, if not non-existent. I 3000% advise against setting foot in a place managed by managers who are insensitive to customer experience and satisfaction.

The decoration is sublime and in the spirit of the Moroccan/Indian fusion and the dishes are good even if the tasting menu is a little light for the price (75 chf). Ultimately the service seemed a little slow and lacking in responsiveness. It stipulates dessert and Moroccan tea and we had to ask for tea even though we had already finished dessert 15 minutes later. One of our friends never received one of his dishes and had received the dish in sauce without the rice.

A great experience this afternoon. The card is perfect in my opinion. Neither too full; they do not scatter so we know that what we are going to eat will necessarily be controlled and that is the case; and just what you need to come back because you can't taste everything. The service is very good, the chef accessible and concerned about his customers. Frankly for me a faultless one I will come back for sure. On the other hand, don't expect a Moroccan restaurant, the chef takes inspiration from all oriental cuisines and combines them wonderfully. I loved the detail of the addition in the terracotta cup, well done and see you soon!

Giving 4 because it's a new restaurant. First of all the service was very kind, I booked online and we had a great table. The food presentation is phenomenal, absolutely beautiful. But it's one of those places where it seems like the food is made for Instagram, and its not especially risky taste-wise. Price / quality ratio is too high imo, it gets very busy and the place is a badly ventilated. I will come back in 6 months to try again!

Very disappointing this “restaurant” one tea was enough for us to know that we had nothing to do here. Just for information for management, tea is not prepared in the morning, it is made to order immediately. And you don’t need to be a chef to know how to cook! It is shameful to pass this restaurant off as a Moroccan restaurant. The waitress serves us tea (which doesn't even deserve to be called mint tea because there was black tea already drawn a while ago) by putting it all over the table. If we hadn't asked to clean she wouldn't have done it. A cuisine neither Moroccan nor elsewhere. A real shame. Never set foot in this restaurant again if you can call it that.

We went there for a wedding and everything was perfect! The dishes are delicious and it's a change from the usual restaurants in Geneva. The servers were very attentive and friendly. Very good time spent there. Nice decoration. I completely recommend!

All the dishes served to us were of extraordinary quality, with an absolutely delicious taste, in short - dinner at your place was a culinaryly brilliant experience. Excited by this first discovery, we will surely come back to try the other dishes offered on your menu. The only thing that slightly spoiled our enjoyment were the employees. They were slow, regularly forgot to bring us items from our order, were unable to provide us with basic explanations (a young waiter insisted it was Lebanese cuisine, especially not Indian ), they were changing all the time (not a dedicated server), they were difficult to approach, and they smoked next door… We would very much like your staff to live up to the cuisine you serve.
