Definitely a great museum where you can feel the smell of real motoring right after entering. A fantastic collection, from classics, through racing cars, to the latest sports cars. I didn't want to leave. In some places, all that was missing was a couch to sit and admire the cars in quiet wonder. Truly a must-have for car fans.

Absolutely great experience. Insanely great cars, from racing cars to vintage cars. Very well maintained, super nice staff. Small restaurant available, with a small selection for snacks and drinks. Outdoor area for the summer with comfortable seating. Occasional appointments with Carspotting... Absolutely recommended, price performance absolutely fair 👌🏼. Parking spaces available free of charge.

Another museum. Have been to “many” car museums. Just the oily, petrol smell when you entered was amazing. Very friendly reception staff. Lots of cars. All were in a very clean condition. Regardless of whether it's an classic car, a super sports car, a racing car, etc. It's a must-see.

Wow! As a mom there with my children, I knew nothing about cars except for having seen the Lamborghini film. 😉 What can I say, not only our car fan (11), but also his sister and I really liked it. We were also approached here and there by a friendly event companion and heard exciting information from him, were able to ask questions and were even allowed to get into a vehicle! We don't understand that hardly anyone in our environment knows about car manufacturing. Definitely worth a visit! We'll be back, then for a rollout! 😎

It was great. Great cars to see in a nice atmosphere. Staff was very friendly. We loved having a few 50's songs playing in the jukebox with the vintage cars. Nothing like a Cadillac to admire Elvis music.

One of the best car museums in the world! So many super sports and racing cars as well as vintage cars and Formula 1 in one place is rarely seen anywhere. They even have their own short track and on select days several race cars run on it. A true paradise for car enthusiasts!!!

The Autobau Erlebniswelt is located in Romanshorn near the German border and is easily accessible by public transport (15 minutes from the train station), and of course there are also many car parking spaces on site. The collection is impressive: from sports cars to Formula 1 and vintage cars, there is something for all car enthusiasts. All vehicles are in top condition and are beautifully displayed. An absolute MUST!

Friendly lady at reception, very well-kept, clean atmosphere. Entrance fees are very justified given the large offering. We were there with the family and at the end there was a toy car for the little ones. Beautifully located near Lake Constance. An exceptional museum that we can only recommend and visit again and again. In times of boring electric car driving machines, a real gem!

The autobau world of experience offers a unique and unforgettable experience. Incredibly, the cars are presented without barriers and you can get closer to the very rare and beautiful vehicles than anywhere else. The smell, the shapes, the stories... pure goosebumps. Thank you that something like this still exists! The Porsche 914 was my highlight 😍

A wonderfully furnished museum with great exhibits. I was particularly impressed by the Italian vehicles. A visit here is definitely recommended.

There is a jukebox in the basement where you can play 2 songs for 1 CHF. Definitely try it, it creates a good one. Entrance tickets are 1 CHF cheaper online and with the adult entry ticket (22 CHF) a child (6-15 years) can enter free.

A beautiful collection of cars of very great value. Every room you visit makes your jaw drop in amazement. Unbelievable that this collection belongs to one man and even more amazing that he wants to share it with us. This is a museum of international level. But then we come to a sore point. All information about the cars is in monolingual German. Fortunately, the book has a section with the English translation. The guides are also multilingual. But you must reserve this in advance. Don't let this deter you from visiting this fantastic museum. The cars speak for themselves and the staff is friendliness itself.

Simply TOP, I've been to this beautiful place 3 times now and I'm always happy to come back. Top cars and best of all, compared to many other museums, the cars are not locked away by a glass pane or barrier tape.

Phenomenal! Ecstatic... this is a must-visit car museum. 4-storey building of Jaw-dropping classic cars, street cars, racing cars and carts, driven/used by world's famous racers from all over the world. With the spacious premises, parking is not a problem. They have a cafe as well, and a spacious lobby with life-sized screen showing previous races. It's so organised, the cars are well classified, well maintained facility. Foods and drinks are forbidden inside the exhibition area and there is a glass room for smokers within the building, so, no need to go out. Staff and crew are very accommodating and very informative.

A must for every car fan. There is something for everyone to see, as an automotive photographer I was very excited. Unfortunately I didn't know that there was such a museum in the area, otherwise I would have taken my camera with me. Thank you for this wonderful museum.

For me, the Clay Regazzoni Honor Room was the highlight of my visit to Romanshorn. In this hall, the great Clay Regazzoni will be given the honor that this unique racing driver deserves. He was and remains a great idol for me and one of the most talented racing drivers. Thanks Clay! And thank you to everyone who built this unique place to enable all interested visitors to experience Clay's legacy live and up close.

We had booked a guided tour. Adi was very competent and knew how to answer all questions. The allotted time passed almost unnoticed and was even extended by an hour. Sensational, can only be recommended. Thank you very much.

Very impressive collection of rarities from sports, Formula 1, classic cars and various prototypes. Today I was able to look at the special exhibition of the Swiss Formula 1 legend Clay Regazzoni with my son, who is an enthusiastic car fan. Really a great location, all vehicles are well lit and can be admired up close without any barriers. This world of experience is a must for all car lovers. Thank you. We will be back.

There are some beautiful vehicles in the halls to admire. You can get quite close to the exhibits because they are (mostly) not parked behind a barrier. Some of the models seem to change - I looked for the Ferrari LaFerrari in vain. There are usually small information boards providing information about the cars. A tour with additional information would certainly be even more interesting. If you're feeling a bit peckish, there are a few little things in the bistro area that you can enjoy with a view of the great cars.
