Very friendly service. Here you almost feel like you are at home.

I ordered 3 cakes (apple quark cake, lemon cake and strawberry cake) as well as croissants and was able to pick everything up from the bakery on time. Everything was delicious, especially the apple quark cake, thank you very much!

I've known the apple curd cake since I was a child, it's still incredibly tasty. When I drive past Bern from Zurich, I always stop in Breitenrain near Bohnenblust.

The quality of the packed lunches for the officers' school is not good at all. I hope these have now been adjusted.

It is ok but croassant was a bit crunchy. They use the dou similar to what Balkan people use and Turkey, so it is diferent type of pastery. But maybe it is just my taste. I also tried a cupcake it was super suggary, super dissapointing. Bern and pastery doesnt seem to work well. I also had a birthday apple quark cake from here and it was just okis. Not very happy with it. Place is sweet but so little number of tables inside, ans it is always full. (The answer that it is in purpose like that just comfiemes the coldness of this culture, whatever). Shame because my husband and I had our 1st date here so I like the place but food is just not good, sorry

Everything always looks so good, but unfortunately it practically never is. Today, after a long time, I bought bread again (spelled bread). We fought our way through a few windows. It tasted very strange (it can't be the spelled. We eat a lot of spelled bread and we always like it very much). Unfortunately, we had similar experiences with other bread and croissants. At least the apple blind was very good.

The best bakery in Bern, without ifs and buts. Large selection of everything related to bread, croissants of all types and types of flour. There is also fresh patisserie on offer every day. Fine coffee is served with this. The staff is very friendly and competent.

An address where it's worth making a stop. Very nice staff who take care of their customers. But the many fine delicacies also invite you to shop. I was particularly impressed by the selection of sandwiches. They are fresh and that just convinced me that the price-performance ratio was right. I enjoyed every bite. In short, I will definitely visit this bakery again when I stay in Bern because it is very worth it. Thank you for the nice service and advice and it's nice that something like this still exists.

Trufflescake is a big disappointment. 3/4 sponge cake and 1/4 chocolate mixture. This was, after all, half and half years ago. When I bought it I was vehemently told that it was still the same as before otherwise it wouldn't be considered a truffle cake. After the bakery admitted that this truffle cake actually did not meet their standards, I was very accommodating and generously compensated

A friend brought us croissants from here and I was very surprised at how bad they were. They didn't seem very fresh, not at all buttery, not even crispy. Essentially just bread in a croissant shape. Really surprising for a Swiss bakery. Also got some berner brot which was good, but a bakery shouldn't be selling croissants like that

The Bohnenblust bakery offers top products - the shop already smells temptingly of fresh baked goods early in the morning. The welcome is always very friendly and the staff gives excellent advice on their treats. A truly first class bakery experience! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

The service leaves a lot to be desired and the coffee doesn't taste good. I can recommend the Weggli, very good.

So many fine things, whether sandwiches or patisserie. Good old craftsmanship and also nice sales staff.

Bakery with excellent products and friendly service. Today I was pleased to see that “Fasnachtschüechli” were already being offered. I grabbed it straight away, but was a bit surprised when I looked at the structure and bitterly disappointed after the first bite. I have never seen such compactly made Fasnachtschüechli and eaten them (not finished). Wait longingly until the best Fastnachtschüechli in Bern are available in the bakery 2 km south. I'm thinking about whether I should give a "test" of bean blusts as a gift of encouragement.

Everything you could want in bread!

Large selection of breads and pastries, there are sandwiches and salads for the lunch break. Very friendly staff. Unfortunately, I've always had bad luck with bread; it was usually dry on the first day.

The service and products are top notch: the “Knebubrot”, the “Schnitzubrot”, the salads, the various sandwiches, the patisserie and so on. The prices are commensurate with this quality. We are already looking forward to the Christmas cookies.

I ordered a Black Forest cake without alcohol. And clarified the price and size. When I picked up the cake, I was told that an additional 10 francs had to be paid because it was a different icing. Although initially a cake without alcohol was ordered and the price was agreed. I really don't think it's correct.

Basically great, friendly service and good quality. I've been shopping there regularly for lunch for almost 2 years now. Unfortunately, during this time the Chnebubrot sandwich literally ended up in the laundry. At the beginning it was thought that it was just deceptive, but since the New Year it has become very clear. But you still pay the same price for half a chnebu bread sandwich.

Finally a bakery in Bern that is on a European level. Many years ago, Bakery Reinhard stupidly gave up rye bread with sourdough. That's why, since that time, we have been forced to buy bread exclusively in Germany or other industrialized countries. Bohnenblust Bakery has understood that sourdough bread is not only tastier and healthier but also has a very long shelf life. We always like to come back and tell all our friends. Joy prevails! Bread culture has found its way to Bern! Bravo!

Steinhauer bread is the best bread there is. Nice service and on Saturday there is an organic vegetable market outside. A wonderful meeting point in Breitenrain.

By far the best bakery in Bern! You have to try the legendary breads, “Chnebubrot” & “Steihouerbrot”! Very recommendable.

We are not from Bern. We got to know the products in the children's clinic on the island. The sandwiches are very good and helped us make ends meet. The very fine nut snails accompanied me very well in the emotionally difficult moments, as well as in the cravings. I think it's really nice to find high-quality, fine and healthy products in the vending machines. At some point I'll definitely be able to go to the Bohnenblust bakery.
