Coffee, cakes, pastries, bread and savory foods such as various quiches - all of very good quality. Excellent Bergün nut cake! Friendly, attentive service. Indoor and outdoor seating in the middle of this beautiful mountain village.

The lady was very rude but made good food

We are absolute nut cake lovers and connoisseurs would probably also be appropriate; We have already eaten so many different kinds of them. But the small version we just ate from the café beats everything. Since we received the good piece as a gift, we cannot comment on the service or the rest of the café's offerings, but the five stars for the NUSSTORTE are more than deserved. In our opinion, the sample eaten beats the cake from the Weber bakery in Davos, which has been at the top of the hit list so far. Especially because the dough and the filling with a (hazelnut?) taste really appeal to our palate. Bravo! We'll be ordering another piece of it straight away and having it delivered.

Don't understand the negative reviews. Was there twice, both times the service was very nice and the pastries were delicious ☺️

The Engadin nut cake is a must when we come here. Even if it is very expensive. It's also worth taking a detour to get there. But you do enjoy driving the Albula Pass.

Here you will find the best and also the only Bergün nut cake! For me, after every visit to Champfer, just because of the Bergüner nut cake is a reason to drive by Bergün. The taste is perfect. Everyone I've given these to try has loved them.

Very good baked goods, friendly

The bread I bought was delicious. The saleswoman, however, made fun of me with her colleague in my presence (the only customer in the store, June 26th around 4:45 p.m.), probably assuming I could understand Swiss German.

Breads and pastries fine. Unfortunately the staff is very rude and unfriendly. Questions are very unwelcome in the store. You are probably aware of the lack of competition in the village and are allowing yourself a lot.

Unfriendly staff and total Corona hysteria on site.

So Corona or not and it's okay that there are regulations. But customers cannot see clairvoyance. And then you can politely point this out to customers. The sound makes the music. You don't have to talk to customers stupidly.

The baker/confectioner knows his craft and prepares excellent bread and pastries, which, after I had already shopped at the bakery on Whit Monday and despite the unfriendly service back then, led me to the store again today, accompanied by my mother, to ask for pastries shopping for those staying at home. The one saleswoman (maybe it was even the boss?) even increased her level of unfriendliness. In hindsight, I thought to myself that I should have turned right again straight away. Maybe the lady should be offered further training in dealing with customers, before one day no one shops at Preisigs anymore. But people are probably aware of the lack of competition and most holidaymakers ignore it because of the excellent products. I also have a company. If I were so unfriendly to my customers, I would probably have filed for bankruptcy long ago.

Great little bakery where two products are particularly well made. On the one hand, of course, the Bergüner nut cake, a modified house creation of the original. And on the other hand, the lye pretzels, which you can't find better anywhere else and which usually sell out very quickly.

The bread is suberb. But please, make the tourists happy and don't close your bakery on Christmas and New Year. Bergün is so quiet throughout the year, lots of time to relax dear Mr. Preisig...

Unwelcoming place and hardly friendly staff, too bad, the village is friendly and pleasant to visit but there are other places to have something to drink.
