I'm actually very happy with this bakery. But today I have to say that the tuna roll I bought tasted more like a pepper roll. Oh god, too much pepper and quite spicy. That was probably the last tuna sandwich I bought there. A pity ....

Best Bäckerei ever, delicious bread and their beautiful Art Chocolate Creations are the best in town, very authentic and lovable designs. I just got my favorite bread, Rüeblitorte and amazing Easter bunnies!! You can actually take a look to their brochure variety online and order whatever you like more. I Could'nt find any better or original Bäckerei anywhere else in ZH, it is the very best with high standards and best quality. And the cherry on the top, is that you can also have fresh Croissants, Breakfast, lunch and Coffee anytime. You are going to love it!!

Was very disappointed with the 3 king's wreath. I don't know if I got the one from the day before yesterday, but they both ended up in my trash. Luckily I was able to find a consumable substitute elsewhere.

The staff is always very nice but unfortunately the freshness and therefore the quality of individual products has decreased and is not compatible with the price increases. You go to the bakery, especially for fresh, high-quality products. Mediocre is available cheaper from major distributors.

I've been getting my things in Nussbaumen for many years: the people are always very friendly and you get what you order. In addition to the bread, we like the great “Bierchermüeslis” best, even if they have a few calories. Fantastic :-)

Catastrophic! The only Beck in Geroldswil and delivers such a cake on Sunday! At 10 a.m. you hardly get anything anymore! I worked in a bakery myself for 10 years! But there has NEVER been anything like this! No wonder every gas station is doing better!!!! Just sad! I will prefer the gas station again from now on!!!!!

Sandwiches are very sparsely topped and almost outrageous for this price. Lunch menu 12.50 CHF but will only feed a small child at most.

Quality and selection is great. The staff in the store were very friendly and patient, the service staff in the café were disorganized, unfriendly and sometimes unfriendly and stressed. Even though there is a play area, you get strange looks when you come into the store with two smaller children. The staff hopes that you leave the café as quickly as possible. Not a place to stay! On another visit (during Corona) you could order at the counter in the café, which is absolutely no problem. At the counter in the café it said "self-service" in capital letters, but when I grabbed a coffee spoon and a creamer there were rebellious comments from the staff about how you can't help yourself here. Then please write correctly, this is not self-service! We wanted to buy bread or patisserie several times in the evening, but before the official closing time the display cases were emptied, the cash registers were locked, payment was no longer possible and you can no longer buy anything, even if there are still products lying around, as these apparently cannot be collected . So they would rather be thrown away than sold. You have to watch as the products end up in a big black bag right next to the counter! Quality is all well and good, but you could also think a little further.

It was not a very pleasant experience for just a coffee to be honest. As soon as we ordered the coffees to drink them in the shop they kindly told us that they would close in 20 mins. Ok..fine. Then I paid a half-capuccino for the price of one as seen in the photo. That was enough.

I have been ordering birthday cakes from the Frei bakery for 4 years and have been very satisfied so far. In September 2020 I ordered a cake twice for an occasion. Both times I was disappointed. When ordering for the first time, the name and glaze were not recorded correctly, for which the staff very kindly apologized. After that, I went to place an order on site for the second order. However, if there was no desired decoration (flower) on the cake, the pastry shop did not consult with the customers and only applied part of the flower correctly. In addition, the labeling was only partially beautiful & the color was not pink as placed when ordering, but pink. Unfortunately very disappointed with this work.

It was my husband's birthday and wanted to buy a cake. We weren't allowed to go in with two people because of the Corona period. The ladies were very unfriendly and we weren't allowed to go in with two people. The next customer wanted to let in. Then I said we are always 3 people then they have to go first Customer leaves then it's our turn otherwise it's never our turn because there are always 3 of us that pissed us off so much that we left... We went to the Lehmann bakery in Urdorf even though we had to wait in line, we were both allowed in without any problems someone was already inside. It's a shame that the employees are in such a bad mood and I'll never go there again...

Was here for the first time today and probably the last time too. But that's not the fault The selection is large and the products are fine. In my opinion there is something for everyone. I ordered a sandwich and the lady (who was nice) then asked me if I would like to eat it here, and I answered yes. She then handed me over to her colleague, who was a little older. However, that is no excuse. I politely asked them what types of tea they had, and the answer was all I don't know what they want. I just said how everything? Hmm ok that wasn't acceptable for me, I'm asking for no reason. Annoyed, she then brought out the varieties. After that she didn't give me another look where I wanted to pay. Then I went ahead myself. So in my opinion she has missed the job. I also have to be nice to the customers, whether they like me or not. That's not possible, especially when you're so in the foreground.

The two of us recently stopped here for lunch. Because of our jobs, we eat out 2-3 times a week and have been doing so for decades! Now for the assessment: The service is good and attentive. We ordered two lunch menus for 20 francs each. At first we thought the price was a bit high, but the lunch menu also includes a salad from the extensive salad buffet. We can also rate the food as very good. In Switzerland we regularly drink tap water with meals, including this time. The espresso was also one of the better types, there's nothing to complain about. Then we asked for the bill and it came quickly. It's a shame, because the bill destroyed exactly two stars. We had to pay four francs for 6 decilitres of Hahnenburger and we thought that was straight forward; Demolition. We spoke to the waitress and she confirmed our opinion and said: "I've already asked our boss about it, but there's nothing we can do about it." We think: If you not only drink water, but also consume it correctly, then the free water is also free, because that's how it is handled even in the dignified food stamps. But we don't have to let ourselves be portrayed as splitters, because we always thank the service staff for the water with a decent tip, and not just a Fränkli. We'd love to come back for dinner, but we'll call in advance and find out if there's been a change in the meantime. If not, we'll exchange our money for a fine meal somewhere else. In the morning, those who have to be out before 7 a.m. can get something, and on Sundays it's open until noon. always fresh products and one of the best.
