I was just in the bakery-free and bought myself a very fine 1/2 pound semi-white long bread and a very fine blackberry confit and it was true that the weather was very nice that day and I also bought something to drink there . And the saleswoman was also very friendly with me.

Today we had a free meal in the bakery. There was rin hair in the bircher muesli. Whenever we reported this to the staff, she simply took the hair and walked away without saying anything or apologizing. After that they just ignored us! That doesn't work at all!!

I only ate cake and vermicelles. The vermicelles are a hit, cakes are good too. The cappuccino has a topping of grated chocolate.

Quality - price - performance top. Friendly service and a small problem was solved in an absolutely professional manner. 5 stars 😁

The frozen Black Forest cake, eaten on the same day, did not meet my expectations because, firstly, the chocolate pieces were quite dried out and not very tasty, and secondly, the cream on the surface already had a significant yellow tinge and tasted anything but fresh.

Great cafe with a great breakfast and a large selection of cakes and ice cream. Very clean, very friendly staff and the prices are really fair. We had the omelette with ham and cheese, as well as the apple strudel with vanilla sauce. Plus a hot chocolate and a cappuccino. Super tasty, super fresh. 😊😊😊

I ordered a chocolate cake with a marble structure (e.g. made of marzipan or fondant) as a coating in advance (3 weeks). I received a chocolate cake with a white marzipan skin that was poorly laid, with wrinkles and in some places it was so thin that you could see the cake underneath. In short it looks terrible and no effort was put into it. I paid 50 CHF for this which is way too much. The lettering is also very minimalist. Unfortunately, there wasn't even the slightest attempt to beautify it a little. When I called to say that I would come to pick up the cake in the evening and that it was fine, I was told that they couldn't do it and that they didn't have the time to do it (I wrote down when I ordered that I would pick it up in the evening become). Unfortunately very disappointing

I have enjoyed going to Kaffee Frei in Brugg for many years. Very fine products, very friendly staff. Small disadvantage, today it was a bit cold in the coffee because the door is often open on Saturdays. We found it very pleasing that there was still a nice selection even at 4 p.m. Anything but self-evident. We always enjoy coming back.

The breads are excellent! Somehow you've forgotten what really good, fresh bread tastes like, but here you're reminded of it again. The dough has incredible character. You can even find out the resting times of the dough for some breads. Keep it up, you're now my new favorite bakery!

Bread and patisserie is fine. Chairs and floor rather dirty...

Fine and delicious dessert. Some of the sales staff have been the same for years, which gives a “homely” good feeling. The size of the restaurant is rather small, so there may be no space left or it may take a little patience.

I have to say that so far I've always been more or less satisfied with everything. But the new service is no go. Firstly, we asked 3 times what we ordered and still got it wrong. hmm blöckli and pencil that means I think we got the summit ourselves otherwise we would still be without it. When we collected the money for both games, I asked for too much, I told her the price myself, it was returned and we'll do that price. Mental arithmetic is difficult. So if this lady pays 50 rp every time. Until 1 fr. She has a great tip too much. Absolute no go, her behavior is snippy and unfriendly.

Sunday late afternoon, busy which is great for a bakery. Unfortunately, the selection of products is limited and some are no longer available. The menu stated that crusty bread would be served with the salad, which unfortunately wasn't the case. Service was friendly but obviously completely overwhelmed. (My tip: paper and pen)

Had 3 Coupes today, 2 banana splits and 1 Melba, they were all very good. The banana split was very large. You have to praise the very nice serving staff.

The Cafeteria is quite dark and once I waited a good 15 minutes before being served. The pastry shop is excellent and today I ordered a special cake for my nephew who is receiving Communion

The Café Frei with its bakery invites you to linger. Here you can enjoy delicious fresh desserts with your coffee. (highly recommended) In summer you can also sit outside. However, the tables are right on the main street and are therefore very loud. The train station is directly opposite and buses and trains can be reached quickly
