You definitely know the legendary cherry cake... But I would like to make a profit here for the entire patisserie range and all cakes. It's one of my absolute TOP addresses for desserts, poppy seeds and sunbathing or whatever they're called can't beat it!! Inconspicuous, almost hidden but absolutely recommended.

This bakery is a real insider tip! Although the selection is more modest than at the Mohn large bakery, the Mohn can pack a punch with its "gold braid", Bürli, nut croissants, etc.! The Schiess bakery and pastry shop can and does it better!

A really great little "bakery-confectionery-café-shop-establishment" somewhere in the middle of nowhere. Who would have thought. Also very friendly people in service and as guests. The almond stick, the cappuccino and the hot chocolate were delicious. Everything was clean all around and luckily I was able to pay electronically, otherwise I would have missed the experience. There are also “somewhere in the middle of nowhere” businesses that move with the times. And they are still so small. So: Everyone go/go there and enjoy the time, the sweets and many “beautiful moments” 😏

Bakery with family tradition. The best braid ever. Delicious cakes. Also highly recommended for aperitifs and wedding cakes. We've been going shooting shopping all our lives and we still love it. Cozy meeting place for breakfast or coffee and cake. We had this cake/cake for our son's 1st birthday. He loved her.

Very good cakes and good drinks. The staff is always friendly, but the operation still needs to be worked on. Despite ringing the bell outside for service, you still have to ask the employees to place your order. If that worked better, the bakery would have earned 5 stars.

Great bakery with excellent products! It's wonderful that bakers/pastry chefs like this still exist. Of course I also recommend the Black Forest cake and the cherry cake, but everything else is of incredible quality. Wonderfully fine and produced with a lot of dedication. The little Florentines in particular look perfect and are exactly as they should be. Good luck to the Schiess family - we are all very grateful that you produce such dream products and at very fair prices!

The Schiess bakery has been baking the very best cherry cake for many years. The Hefestollen is also the best around. There is a very large selection of cake slices. Each piece only costs 4 Fr.

Respect, this type of company is very rare these days. Take care of your business, and yes the cherry pies are worth the trip. But all the other treats also looked very tempting. Next time I'll buy Black Forest cake and cherry cake there...

We enjoyed a brunch here, typical Swiss restaurant, all bakery products and the coffee were excellent, family and friendly service. My wife is a muäsli lover and thought the muäsli was excellent. The price is also very fair. We will be back.
