Whenever I visit my Sorella in Oberdiessbach, I always get Baslet bread, the Basler bread is better than here in Basel-Stadt. Always very friendly service.

Local specialist shop for various breads, pastries, cofiserie and patisserie. In particular, the Ruchbrot, the butter plait, the "Nidlechueche" and the orange cake are highly recommended. Adjusted opening hours (closed on Sundays). Free parking directly behind the shop. Friendly service. Worth mentioning: Pro-bonuses are issued for purchases.

The service was that they did not speak any english and when we trye to order breakfast they shake at their heads because whe did not now what the choice was bread and cheese and others. Sad it feels that we really was in the old east germany.

The best bakery I ever know! Every time I drive from Zurich to the Bern region I stop at Wegmüllers! Strawberry and orange cakes are delicious! (Far better than at Sprüngli in Zurich where they cost twice as much.) I also don't know a better baker for nut croissants and cream slices!
