Top welcome, warm and skilful service. What the kitchen delivers is top class. There were four of us, our first time at the Gasthaus Bad Eptingen and we enjoyed it. Even though the restaurant was fully booked, we had the feeling that they only cared about us. A perfect evening, the staff throughout the house know their craft and are real hosts.

The restaurant is world class. Very good food, great and very attentive service. The rooms are clean and the bed is super comfortable. The room furnishings are a bit outdated but there is water in the room...

The two of us went to the restaurant for lunch on March 13th. A nice table was reserved for us. Covered in white, cloth napkin. Friendly reception and service. Open red wine presented for preliminary tasting. Impeccable! 3 course menu a pleasure! This is how eating is fun. Price/performance okay. (Fr. 190.-) Gladly again!

I can only rate the restaurant: it has very upscale cuisine, extremely friendly staff, and the service here is very courteous. However, due to the popularity of the restaurant, you should make a reservation. I also had to realize that the table etiquette of high cuisine is taken very seriously here and is applied, so if necessary, you should learn it again beforehand so that you don't stumble yourself.

Service and cuisine are top notch and definitely worth a visit. Here, gastronomy is celebrated the way you as a guest would like it to be

I always eat there at Christmas. It makes me happy every time, the food is super delicious. The service is also great. Unfortunately the restaurant is in a small village, but it is always fully booked when I am there. The boss comes by every now and then and asks if everything is okay. Simply great!

I used to eat there a lot with friends and it was always very tasty. Yesterday I only dropped off one player from the United World Games there; he lives three houses away.

Last Friday we had lunch in the bathroom with our two dogs. We were warmly greeted by the boss and the employees and given a wonderful place on the terrace. The food also came subito and tasted really great. I rate all of this 5 stars. Unfortunately, I personally was very disappointed with how we were served by the employee assigned to us. She was very unmotivated towards us and we felt like we were being treated condescendingly... While she was overly polite and friendly with the other guests. We didn't order the big program (aperitoire, starter, etc.) and she was annoyed because of the dogs. But next time I'll talk about it because we like being in Bad Eptingen. And everyone deserves equal attention, time and kindness. The rest of the staff was super nice. 🙂

Reserved a room by phone. 2 hours later I get a call saying it didn't work out because it had already been booked online. Not recommendable.

You feel royally cared for. Great service, fine food. Anything but zero-eighteen-fifteen. We recommend. Reservation is an advantage.

We were able to enjoy an absolutely great meal this afternoon. It started as soon as we arrived, with the greeting and up to the table, just great. The food is a poem from start to finish. I was even able to take my dachshund with me and was provided with water and something from the kitchen. I just have a bad conscience that my dachshund had caught/bit the boss and he had to get an injection from the doctor for tetanus. Nevertheless, a really nice day for me and a big thank you to Ms. Simone's service. 👍

Went there last week with a toddler. It was a wonderful evening! Our little one was treated very courteously and was part of the group, thanks to our waiter Limi! It was a shame that the beef came almost exclusively from Australian production. The vegetarian dishes and the wine, as well as the fish dishes, were a dream. But the deduction is still for the innkeeper, I found it disturbing to be observed while eating, even if the observation belonged to the employees. I also found the tone towards the employees questionable, especially when there are still guests present.

A nice hotel in a valley. Perfect for going hiking. Unfortunately, the restaurant in the hotel is very overpriced.

We celebrated our civil wedding there with 13 guests. We were able to eat in a beautiful hall, had an excellent menu and really great service. We received a very warm welcome, friendly service and are completely happy. We would come back at any time and would like to thank the entire team for the unforgettable afternoon 😊

The two of us went there for lunch on June 5th. Food very good. Unfortunately experienced other inconveniences. There was no drinks menu except for wine, so it was not possible to find out about prices and selection. I ordered cognac which was served in a shot glass. Provenance unknown! The tight seating was extremely uncomfortable. The waiter really had to squeeze in behind my partner. Notabene without apology. This really spoiled our stay. It is very questionable whether we will ever go there again...

Company event with a good 40 people. Well organized and friendly staff. Aperitif outdoors, then a team drumming event, cool thing! Afterwards dinner in the hall. We had a very nice evening and the food was very good! We'd love to come back.

Yesterday, May 5th, 2022, I went out to eat with my family for the first time in a long time. We started the evening happily and with a lot of laughter when we were told off by the owner in an absolutely unfriendly and unprofessional manner. We should please be quiet. If it had been up to me, we would have gone to another restaurant straight away! We visited Bad Eptingen several times, the food was always great, but as a customer I cannot accept such an attitude from an individual. From now on unfortunately without us.

The menu is rather small - but nice 😉 (Current: On our last visit we were disappointed with the meat main course. Fish is definitely the right choice.)

We have been visiting Bad Eptingen for years and we have never been disappointed. There is a fantastic symbiosis between tradition and modernity. Anyone who is on the way to Rome from Hamburg should stop there and let yourself be pampered.

Our Christmas dinner…Very good “bourgeois” cuisine, nice portions. There would have been many tempting fish specialties, but we stayed on the meat track. The staff is very friendly and attentive, despite the busyness. Since it was very crowded, the noise level was a bit high. I particularly enjoyed the councilman's plate with liver, milk, kidney in a mustard sauce... which is very rare 😋

We ate at this restaurant on our wedding anniversary. The food and service were excellent. The new corona measures were also implemented very well. All in all a successful evening, if it hadn't been for the distribution of tables. We were so excited about this evening until we were seated at the table with another couple. This is despite having made a reservation two months before the date. If we had wanted to eat as a group of four, we would have made a reservation for four. This was very disappointing! For this disappointment we would give the restaurant 3.5 stars... but half stars are not possible and the food and service were too good for 3 stars...

Super good restaurant. From the starter to the dessert, the meal was truly perfect. The best rack of lamb I've eaten to date. The atmosphere is cozy, even if the seating is a bit cramped and the men's toilet only had 1 toilet, which is not ideal in a full restaurant.
