Today I was again at the Bahnhöfli in Brügg (BE). I ordered the small beef fillet with croquettes. There were also vegetables. Of the 3 sauces included, I only needed the Béarnaise, I wanted the meat saignant. First there was a small mixed side salad. The meat was cooked perfectly, just the way I wanted it. The vegetables and the croquettes tasted excellent. For dessert there was a small Coupe Ticino. The table was decorated for Easter, the staff is very nice. The boss makes the rounds and asks if everything is okay. I really appreciate that you get smaller portions here, from the starter to the dessert. Here the guest is truly king and their presence is valued. I can therefore hardly understand the criticism of the previous entry (by Alois Kurner). I've never experienced it like this before and I've been to the Bahnhöfli 4-5 times and will come again.

A single disappointment. Were there after a funeral. The service showed 0% empathy and just shouted around, there were only 25 people registered, why are there more here now, we don't have any plates, we don't have enough space and so on, no greeting, nothing, you felt unwelcome. For 20.50 SFR you can expect more. So stay away from the Rösti. A year ago, the Rösti in the Bahnhof Restaurant was the best in the region.
