3.50 for this little 'Gmüesschnägg' and I really don't believe you that it's from today. Dry and rock hard. What's going on there. Terrible.

A decently sized croissant at an absolutely great price in the middle of the city! I'm coming here again.

A charming and clean bakery offering delicious take out and eat in menus. Very popular with students from the nearby learning establishments as well as locals. The staff were smiley and helpful. The pastries I ordered were light and fluffy and the coffee was just to my liking. I'll definitely return.

Last Friday, when I needed bread from Lehmann's butcher shop, the saleswoman, Ms. Gauch, recommended that I get fresh bread at the Bohnenblust bakery at four o'clock. And lo and behold. At this time there was still a delicious selection of light and dark breads as well as pieces etc. The once again friendly and courteous seller recommended the Basel bread, which my guests praised immensely three hours later. Small but nice. You can either buy something or sit down for a moment and enjoy a coffee. By the way, I find it very tasty. The selection of bread they offer is also very tasty. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. I'd love to come back again and again.

The Steinhauer bread is simply heavenly. That's why I keep coming back to this bakery. Without them, a large part of the quality of life in Bern would be missing.
