Nice pub for young people. You can sit out or inside which is really good in summertime. About the payment method, you need to have cash or you can pay with twint, no credit card!! The waiters are nice and friendly. Could come again.

The staff is friendly, there are pinball machines, billiards, darts, five-a-side football and you don't spend much on a beer. One of the peaks in Mendrisio equipped with a smoking room, convenient for smoking in the winter before vasodilation. Thursday evening Happy Hour with discounts on beer but plastic glasses.

Nice place, although unfortunately playing billiards becomes uncomfortable due to space constraints. Thursday evening is to be avoided for those who want to spend a quiet evening with a margin of movement of at least two decimetres.

The place is nice and quite cheap, if it weren't for the security who abuses power and mistreats customers it would be 5 stars.

Historic place in Mendrisio but not for its positive reputation regarding Thursday happy hours. On other days it has no turnout other than a few passing through, but on Thursdays it is filled to capacity with kids who do nothing but drink beyond limits. Ordering or staying inside, especially in summer, is a challenge both because it is small and because of the temperature. There is no air conditioning and the bartenders do their best with a lot of effort to manage the always too many customers at once. The outdoor patio is accessible based on where the kids sit on the ground everywhere without anyone saying anything to them but even if someone says something the answers, for those who are sober... are surprising or negative as if asking to get up from the ground was abnormal. On the other side of the road, a tape is placed with the sign "urinating on the walls prohibited" since this must also be specified given that in the past anyone could leave the bar and urinate wherever they happened to. Just beyond the club there are gatherings of young people with alcohol purchased elsewhere intent on drinking both before and after entering the bar having hidden bottles or cans and not being able to bring them inside. The management is entrusted to someone who seems to let everything slide until it is too late, the security does what it can depending on the moons or the owner's alcohol level. However, it cannot be said that the place is not useful because in the end a container is created for all those subjects who elsewhere perhaps are not really adequate or welcome due to the behaviors and habits described. Just go and see with your own eyes, clearly without pretensions.

Bar banquet is one of the main attractions on Thursday evenings in Sotto Cinderi, the happy hour starts from 6.30pm to 7.30pm and beers at that time cost 3.- per half. Very crowded place due to the influx of young people. Recommended for everyone and you socialize very well.

Very attractive place for young people, out of the ordinary decor with its irregularly shaped wooden tables and chairs. Fun is guaranteed between the billiard table, the darts game and the five-a-side football table. Thursday evening is always a party with disco music. Large outdoor terrace makes this place an ideal meeting place even on hot summer evenings. The waitresses were very kind and friendly. The only flaw, long waits to go to the toilet on the busiest evenings. We need more bathrooms.

I've only been to this bar one evening and I have almost nothing to complain about, except for the prices which are a bit high. The restaurant also has a smoking room and outdoor tables. The drinks are decent and I RECOMMEND changing your money into Swiss francs because if you use Euros you will lose a bit.
