Was in trouble twice. I ate both osso buco. Absolutely great the first time. The second time I only received some kind of meatballs. No bone, nothing. When I asked the waiter where the bone was, they said it didn't exist. So for me it's more of a ragout and not an osso buco. The taste was okay, but it was just too expensive for a ragout. It's a shame that the quality at Vogeögryff apparently can't be maintained.

The service provided by the boss lady and the other two ladies was also very professional, warm and friendly, and the prices were very reasonable. Highly recommended!

The staff were attentive and although there wasnt a free table in the restaurant, nothing was too much trouble. Absolute must if in Basel.

Perfect pasta dishes, the carbonara is an 11 out of 10 for me and the pasta with the pesto with pine nuts is also a great choice definitely 9.8 out of 10. When I'm in Basel again I will definitely visit the restaurant again and will recommend it to anyone who plans to come to Basel again...
