It would perhaps be good if customers were informed that the parking spaces at the old library at Münchenbuchsee train station do not belong to the bear. People park there even though the no parking sign is clearly visible! You have to consult the police every time.

The waitress was talking to another employee. We called twice to order. According to the audible conversation, it was about private matters. I think that's wrong

Nice, classic CH restaurant. The choice of food is limited, but what is cooked is great. My portion of lamb was a bit small, but generally sufficient. Something between normal and nouvel cuisine.

Arrived at 8 p.m., we had booked a table. We were once left sitting for more than 10 minutes until the waiter came with the menu. But the hall wasn't full. After ordering 2 burgers, two beers, the wait began. Some time after us, two people at the next table were served quickly. After waiting for an hour, I asked where our food was because it was served at the next table. The waiter was very apologetic, he didn't give our order. He stared at the wall. He spent the whole time running around the hall and serving other tables, how can that be possible? He saw that we were sitting there. We were then told that it would only take five minutes. But that turned into 15 minutes. I politely but firmly complained about the whole thing. We were able to eat at half past nine. The food: Sauces and burgers were mixed up, we corrected that ourselves. The fries were almost cold, but baked so hard that they crunched like chips in your mouth. My BBQ sauce was a watery something mixed with paprika powder. The burger was OK. When White is covered, there are a few rules to follow. The second cutlery as well as wine and water glasses should be removed. The waiter told us he would tell the boss about the mishap. Unfortunately we didn't see any bosses. was he afraid of me? The invoice then arrived very quickly. We paid over 70 francs for this complete failure. You can imagine what advice we will give our friends and acquaintances about the Münchenbuchsee bear.

Dough preservation, sauces are all homemade, regional vegetables and salad deserve a wow! It's rare to find today and is highly recommended. Friendly, courteous, friendly service and the ambience is absolutely harmonious, even though I can only judge the outside area so far. Although it is located on a main road, it is quiet and invites you to linger. Deserves 5 stars in all respects. Lovely again.

A really nice meal before the performance of Pasta del Amore! From the welcome in the restaurant to the final laughs in the family hall, everything was perfect. Thank you for an overall lovely evening.

There were two of us eating on December 10th, 2022, the salad was inedible, bitter and the sauce was tasteless. The waitress said it was a mistake in the kitchen and other guests had also complained. Insolence was charged 2 x 8.-, even though we returned both immediately after receiving them. We will NEVER eat there again! I now feel like I've been cheated, so I won't recommend it to anyone.

The outdoor terrace is an oasis in midsummer. Unfortunately there was a lot of noise from the street intersection Service has always been very friendly, personable and efficient over the last 3 visits. Can highly recommend the veal wiener schnitzel. On hot Sundays it's "Schnitzel Sunday", where you can compose your own schnitzel or cordon bleu using the modular system. I decided on a veal cordon bleu with pepper breading, Gruyère-walnut-ham filling and French fries. This was very good and a change from the "standard versions".

Friday, May 6th, 2022: Unforgettable evening with Michel Gammenthaler with lots of wit, satire and humor. Beforehand, a wonderful dinner with attentive, friendly service. I'll be back!

Friendly attentive staff, delicious food, inviting outdoor area

I've never seen a gluten-free menu like this: apart from 1 starter and 2 desserts, everything is exactly like the original, even the Cordon Bleu! The menu is nice and short, regional, seasonal and well thought out (the laying hen burger makes sense and is fantastic). We were completely impressed by everything, both with and without gluten, including the service, which we said was understaffed, which we didn't notice. We'd love to come back!

The restaurant scores hugely with the food! Super tasty - and, if necessary, gluten-free. Not wishy-washy gluten-free, but also good for people with celiac disease. The prices are OK. The service was extremely charming and attentive. The only point of criticism is the bench in the hall with an old train station feel. After sitting for 2 hours it was fine. Pretty uncomfortable. So if you eat there, avoid the benches. Everything else is great! I would actually like to give it 4.5 stars!

A truly worthy house in the middle of Münchenbuchsee. The dining room and the “old” Sääli exude a special charm. The dishes (pumpkin cream and venison schnitzel) were excellent and prepared with a lot of knowledge and skill. Excellent 😋 The wine list is also appealing and you can believe the recommendations from the service. Also a top grade for the service: friendly and competent. People like going to Bären Buchs 😛

I visited the Bären Buchsi restaurant by chance because I had to wait a while for my train. The garden restaurant made me curious. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. The cleanliness is remarkable. If a guest leaves, the table unit is immediately cleaned. The service staff is always available for a chat. At the time I was there, around 3 p.m., many tables were reserved. That tells me that this restaurant is very busy. It is located right near the train station. Definitely worth a visit. An heissen Sommertagen im Gartenrestaurant unter den Kastanien echt toll. Das abwechslungsreiche Tagesmenue gibt es zu moderatem Preis. Die Salatsauce ist Spitze. Bedienung war freundlich.

02.07.2020, abends. Vier Personen. Wir waren aufgrund einer Empfehlung zum ersten Mal im Bären. Leider haben wir einen schlechten Abend erwischt. Drei davon hatten ein Wienerschnitzel. Leider waren alle drei "Furztrocken". Nachdem wir die Rechnung bezahlt hatten, blieben wir noch ein wenig sitzen. Zum Glück für das Restaurant. Wurde uns doch das Essen und die Getränke eines anderen Tisches verrechnet. Wir durften dann die Differenz noch nachbezahlen. Wir hätten unser Feedback gerne der Chefin gegeben. Gemäss Auskunft weilt diese jedoch aktuell in den Ferien. Schade.

Tolles Ambiente, nette und aufmerksame Bedienung, kleine aber feine Speisekarte mit Klassikern aber immer auch saisonalen Gerichten. Mehrere lokale Biere im Offenausschank. Wunderbarer Aussenbereich, schlemmern unter Bäumen.

Im Bären Buchsi bist du immer willkommen, in der Gaststube ist es einladend heimelig und die Bedienung stets flott und kompetent. Ein gutes Bier mit einem Snack zum Feierabend geht genau so wie ein edles Mittag oder Abendessen mit erlesenem Wein. Und wenns mal laut und Fezzig sein soll, sind hin und wieder Konzerte im 1.OG mit meist regionalen Künstlern und Musiker .lasst euch verzaubern!

Als regelmässiger Gast geniesse ich die gewohnte, heimelige und gemütliche Atmosphäre. Zu empfehlen ist das Bier der BFM Brauerei aus dem Jura und der Simus-Schoggikuchen. An warmen Sommertagen lädt das Bärengärtli ein eine hauseigenen Holundersirup zu geniessen und an verregneten Sonntagen ist dem beiwohnen am Schnitzelsonntag nichts auszusetzen.

Verlangen für Hahnenwasser Geld. Sehr unfreundliche und unflexibel Bedienung. Kinder nicht erwünscht.

Gehe seit Jahren ab und an in den Bäre Buchsi und passt für mich bestens. Weiter so 🤗

Schöner Gartensitzplatz, tolle Karte mit freundlicher Bedienung. Guter Ort mitten in Münchenbuchsee. Schaue da sicher gerne wieder vorbei.

Sehr schönes Restaurant. Ich bin dort bereits wiederholt gewesen und zwar sowohl abends wie auch in der Mittagspause. Dabei hat mir jedesmal der Biergarten und die Atmosphäre besonders gut gefallen. Ebenso positiv wie der sehr freundliche und gute Service ist auch der Mittagstisch. Man hat dort jeweils die Auswahl zwischen zwei unterschiedlichen Pastagerichten und einem Fleischgericht. Der Mittagstisch ist zudem täglich wechselnd und beinhaltet zudem noch einen Salat oder Tagessuppe. Also ich war wirklich begeistert.

Eigentlich alles sehr schön und gut, bis auf die Portionsgrösse, die viel doch sehr klein aus. Schafe. (Siedfleischsalat mit Pommes) Leider gab es auch kein Ketchup obwohl ich gefagt habe. Gäste waren nicht viele da.
