Tasty food. Asian, sushi, burgers etc. Extremely well priced. Recommended.

Good food for a reasonable price and friendly service. In any case, I can recommend everything on the map :) For me, it's just a great place to stay. I'm already looking forward to the upcoming new menu with the chicken burger :)

I actually think it's great here and have been there many times. Unfortunately we had to wait over 40 minutes for 2 small mochi ice creams. We were only told when we asked that they were still thawing, but not how long it would take... Otherwise, still recommended.

Order sushi online via delivery service! Never had such delicious and fresh sushi as tonight! I will never order sushi anywhere else than BarExcellence!

Ordered take away. Asked again after more than 1.5 hours. Check with the delivery service. When the food arrived afterwards, it was without chicken - so I paid for meat but didn't receive any meat. What's that supposed to mean? I won't order here again…

You have to visit this place once. From sushi to burgers and the drinks menu is extremely long but varied. Something for everyone. The food was very nice. Payment possible via card. Reservation not absolutely necessary, but recommended.

I used to come here and be very bad treated from a blond lady who serves here.. Other than that, this place has very pleasant waiters and decent dishes for the price. Grumpy blond lady not there anymore, just nice waiters... So I'm coming back :) I recommend trying the drinks recommended, and crated, by a dark skinned waiter. Is a super nice guy and does super nice drinks..

The sushi and Asian dishes in general are great. The burger is generally good too. But I've had negative experiences 2-3 times. All in all, the food is good and I would happily come back.

Had a pleasant visit with friends and fully enjoyed our stay at BarExcellence. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the menu offered a solid and tasty variety of food (sushi and asian) and drinks (cocktails and wine). Plus, the restaurant bar is nicely located in the hub of city Bern.

Long waiting times, people smile at you for a coffee without caffeine in the evening, which doesn't exist. Sorry, you can do better.

tl;dr: Very nice staff, very cozy bar, prices are reasonable and cocktails exceptionally good. Ambiance 5/5 Service 5/5 Price/performance 5/5 I can't think of anything that could improve this bar. We were out in town on a Friday evening around 9:30 p.m. and were looking for a bar. The sign in front of the door "Come as a guest and leave as a friend" persuaded us to enter the bar. In retrospect, I have to say that this sign says it all and is lived by all employees. I have rarely experienced such exceptionally good service, even for obvious tourists everything is done to satisfy them. Services that are only available to regular guests in Germany were provided here as a matter of course. Unfortunately we only tried the chicken strips. However, these were excellent. The nut mixture that was put on the table was also a friendly service that we were happy to use later on. Thanks Benji for the great cocktails and thanks also to your boss for the lovely evening. The next time we are in Bern we will definitely come back.

Great service, cool ambience and the best sushi in Bern. The momos are world class too. If the weather allows you to sit outside, please do so! One of my favorite places in Bern. It's really fun every time. The wines are also great with sushi. There are always events with DJs and live music on the weekends. Go there, try everything out and have fun!

I order or eat there often and am impressed by the food and the ambience. For me personally, they have the best sushi in Bern. The fish is always fresh and deliciously prepared.

Overall, top bar. It's a bit of a shame that the music got very loud at around 11.30 a.m., which limited the conversation and we had to look for another bar. Otherwise, great selection of drinks.

Four of us visited BarExcellence today. We ate fried noodles with duck, a udon noodle soup and a burger. Everything was very good! The ducks are crispy, the burger meat is still slightly pink in the middle, as it should be! As a small point of criticism: the fries could have been a little crispier, but they were seasoned perfectly. The selection of drinks is extensive, but we couldn't find much homemade stuff on the menu (it's not a big deal, there's something for every taste). The service staff was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, as the number of guests increased, we had the feeling that we had been forgotten a little. We still understand that, we saw how much there was to do! Finally, we would like to apologize for the measly tip, we didn't want to express our displeasure with it, we just miscalculated, which we only noticed later... We'll come back and make up for this point, the team would definitely have thought of it earned! Thanks for the hospitality and see you soon.

Extremely awesome food! Greetings to the great waitress with Russian roots. As a starter we had edamame with momo pockets (meat and spinach/cheese). Both tasted excellent. Afterwards we ate udon soup. Clear recommendation and I'll definitely come back when I'm in Bern again.
