Staff super nice. Prices OK. My pizza was nothing special.

Always a very nice atmosphere, the food was great, the crew and the boss were great and of course the espresso with Amaretto or Grappa on offer was a highlight.

The staff was friendly, but the picata was charred, spaghetti was bland, no taste reminiscent of Italy. I had to let the food go back, it was cooked again, but the second time wasn't really edible either. The veal was as tough as shoe sole, and the spaghetti was equally bland. No salt in the food, but salty prices, so I expect a lot more for this price. I got a stomach ache after eating. The free espresso and dessert, as well as the Amaretto, were fine, but couldn't conjure up the bad impression. Unfortunately I won't be visiting the restaurant again...

Everything is just right here; I have been a regular at Barone for years and appreciate the cozy atmosphere, the friendly, long-standing staff and of course the best (wood-fired) pizza far and wide! And the free espresso including grappa at the end is the icing on the cake.

Perfect, friendly service, top value for money

Unfortunately the pizzas are no longer as good as they used to be. No real mozzarella is used. The salt was also missing in the food and on the table. Service but very friendly! At the end you get a free coffee and a grappa/limoncello. That's a very nice gesture

Service only gets three stars because the menu salad was completely forgotten at our table. But otherwise the food was very nice, tagliatelle with salmon. And it was really excellent... There was a small dessert with coffee and a schnapps for free❣️❣️❣️

The greeting was in Italian but couldn't speak Italian. The pasta was overcooked and the pesto sauce was from a can. If the pasta is overcooked, you have to change the cook!! The quality of the open wines is very, very affordable. It's a shame, the quality of Barone is only cheap products. Better to buy good products and adjust prices.

So 5* is definitely overkill for this location. I managed to get 4, even though the salad dressing was weird and way too spicy, the service didn't work out right away and I've had better espresso. But the food was very good, pizza was hot and crispy, dessert was very good. And all of this at a very fair price. The garden is cozy so far, but it's right on the street. If I'm in the area, I could imagine going by again.

So I got completely burnt pizza and I was disappointed with Villa Barone. Ordered fries for a small child and when ordering it was already mentioned that there was a small portion of fries for a small child, but what came was a large portion, possibly for 1-2 adults.

I've never had such bad and way too hot lasagna!!!! Was like a rubbery cheese soup without meat.....

Were there in the evening... We waited ages for our drinks, the waitress only spoke Italian... The food: Pizza was ok to good... Calamares were a disaster... Definitely won't be coming back. There are many restaurants that still demonstrate professionalism.

Very good food. You can usually get a place if you don't have a reservation, even in groups of up to 6 people. The food you ordered takes a while to arrive at the table, but it is also a large restaurant. The ambience is quite good, even if I can't rate it well. But it can also quickly become expensive. Overall a very good restaurant.

Unfortunately, all in all unsatisfactory in terms of service, “quality” and price/performance. When we arrived, we had to wait probably 15 minutes before we could order an aperitif. We ordered 5dl rose and two iced teas. The rose was brought in a completely calcified glass vessel and without asking us we were given two large iced teas. The starter, the salmon carpaccio, was dried out and tasteless. The arugula alone was fresh and edible. Sorry but any salmon you buy from a shopping center, no matter the price range, tastes better!!! For the main course we ordered spaghetti and the beef fillet with Gorgonzola sauce. The order was taken, but after 5 minutes the bad news was that there was no more beef because the wedding party had eaten everything... normally you order so and so much, etc. We thought no problem, also because the waiter politely apologized and ordered the veal schnitzel as a replacement, which, like the spaghetti, tasted really great. There's really nothing wrong with the main course! Everything is very, very fine!!! But when we asked for the dessert menu afterwards, it simply didn't come. We had to ask for it a second time and when we realized that two guests behind us had the same problem, we gave them our tickets. To our surprise, they got dessert before us. 🤣 ... At the end we were kindly served an espresso and a schnapps each, which meant that unfortunately the schnapps was taken away from my partner without asking, on the grounds that she would get a red one because it was a little weaker. Everything would be OK...but unfortunately the red schnapps never came 🤣.... Therefore, as I said, unfortunately all in all unsatisfactory, especially when it comes to service!!! I won't accept the 12 wedding guests as an excuse! We like to eat out often...even in various other countries, but I have rarely experienced such chaos. The food is OK, even if the starter didn't meet our expectations or our taste, the main course was very, very tasty!!! But you can also expect it for around 140 fr.

The service was very friendly and quick. Lots of space on the terrace even in summer. Pizzas are big and good. Gladly again.

Pizzeria Barone Seuzach has been our regular Italian restaurant for years, we live in the area, and having such a good restaurant nearby is wonderful for the quality of life. I've traveled a lot and for me the Margherita here is unsurpassed. A glass of Rosso della casa with it is perfect. Risotto ai funghi is also a real treat. Espresso and grappa for the gentleman/amaretto for the lady are on the house. All the staff are very friendly and you never have to wait long. Pick-up meals also work perfectly. One more thing about reviews: when I plan trips, I look at the reviews of hotels and restaurants and I look at the worst ones first. I am aware that a review is a matter of taste, that there are always negative experiences and that there are also fake reviews to badmouth the competition. But I have the impression that the Pizzeria Barone Seuzach deserves it a consistently excellent grade for years.

Pleasant atmosphere. The pizza is very fine, with crispy dough. Very attentive and friendly service. Parking spaces in front of the house. We'd love to come back.

Service and food was excellent.

Food was good, the service didn't communicate well with each other, we ordered the bill, then the next waiter came and asked if we wanted anything else, and said no. After a long time the first waiter came back and asked if we really didn't want anything more. We replied, already annoyed, that we finally wanted the bill and nothing else. We were then offered an espresso on the house which we declined. Finally the bill came.

I just love it every time at the Barone. I regularly eat at Barone with my family, it always tastes very good and the staff is also extremely friendly.

UPDATE: the place has unfortunately developed negatively. The Italian hospitality is no longer really noticeable. The staff and service are no longer what they were for a long time. What a shame, we used to love coming here. But now it's nothing special anymore. ☹️ 5 years ago here was my 5* rating: Always nice, child-friendly and delicious.

Cozy Italian atmosphere. The food was delicious and even the tiramisu was homemade. The waiter was also super friendly and attentive. Would come back at any time. A reservation may be recommended during peak times.

Today my daughter and son came home annoyed with their boyfriend. They wanted to treat themselves to a nice evening at the Barone. We also celebrated her confirmation there... We also often came to eat there with colleagues and friends. Unfortunately, you couldn't get a seat in a rather sparsely occupied restaurant. The people afterwards, also not reserved, were shown to a free table. Very unfortunate. We won't enjoy pizza there anymore

We wanted to go out for a nice meal. The staff was unfriendly and arrogant. The food was ok but not the best. Extra mozzarella was the same as a normal pizza...

We (13 year old child, 19 year old and 21 year old me) spontaneously wanted to eat a pizza today. We went to Barone and wanted to eat there. We came in wearing normal clothes (nothing fancy) and they said there were no seats available. So we ordered pizza on takeaway. Immediately after us, two people came in wearing work clothes. They didn't have reservations either. Nevertheless, they suddenly got a table for four. It could also be because I have foreign roots. One does not know. The pizza itself was okay but not the best either. My recommendation: 700m further there is a better pizzeria at the train station -> La Stazione.

Were here on New Year's Eve and we enjoyed our stay. The food was very good - had pizza, risotto and picata milanese - and the service was very friendly. Will definitely come back.

Very, very good food every time, I would order every dish I tried again at any time. Due to the high number of guests, the staff has a lot to do and sometimes seems stressed. But it doesn't bother at all thanks to the ambience, the quick service and the wit of the staff. Always my pleasure!

The pizza is awesome, really crunchy, unlike the typical soggy pizza in the US. The dining room, with its grand piano, is roomy and grand. Then there's the beautiful patio area that's great in warm weather.

Eat absolutely contemporary: Capaccio 24.-Fr. 40g meat!!?? / Shrimp melon 24.-Fr. 3-class prawns, zero taste, no mess, so to speak. Add salt to saltimbocca! Service below any level, after complaining about shrimps you would be left out. If you paid your employees a fair wage and paid attention to the quality of your purchases, things would be much better!!!
