Fine food in a pleasant atmosphere. Service super attentive and friendly. Afterwards we partied in the Grizzly with the band “Run to you” until midnight - it was awesome! We hope this band plays at Grizzly again next winter 🎸🎸🥁🎤.

We had lunch today outside on the terrace. The menu for CHF 24 for salad or soup, main course and ice cream is great. The food was very good. Very friendly and attentive service. We would like to come again.

Pleasant atmosphere and courteous employees

We had a delicious dinner, the wine selection was great and we had a very nice bottle of wine. Our two boys are 4 and 7 yo and enjoyed their food. The atmosphere is very nice and cozy. The service needs to be improved. We waited very long for our main course, the wine was brought late and the bottle put aside so our glasses were often empty. Finally we asked to leave the bottle on the table. The ice cream we ordered for the boys before we got our main course (the idea was they have it when we have our main course) was brought 20min (despite me asking a few times) after we enjoyed our main course so our 4yo fell asleep. We still got charged for the ice cream. I think it was a bad deal for the service as we would have tipped much more if the ice cream which wasn’t eaten wasn’t put on the bill. Though we very much enjoyed the food and the atmosphere, I doubt we come back unless the service improves.

Discovered by chance for a short break in Klosters. Very friendly staff. You can also eat or just have snacks. There are also fine cakes and tarts. The coffee is also good.

Had a birthday meal for my daughter here. Originally they said the bar area was full and we could not get a table for seven, but they managed to squeeze us in. Service was great. Atmosphere in the bar / bistro was great too. And the food was all prepared well with great ingredients - we especially like the oriental starter and the juice burgers. Baers is a great placed in Klosters and we love coming back here every time we visit. Thank you to everyone who helped make my daughter's birthday meal so enjoyable!

Very great staff, absolutely delicious food even for vegetarians - the falafel schnitzel, the tarte flambée and the vegi burger were very well cooked. It's great that there is something so great in Klosters.

Charging CHF 12 (twelve) for a Schümli Pflümli is over the top. Coffee, schnapps, whipped cream and possibly sugar - you do the math. The reasoning was also great: we were too cheap last season. I would almost say a double flop. We will “drink” somewhere else in the future.

Had lunch on the terrace, day's menu, which was CHF 24.-. For that price, I got a salad as starter, a fish main course with nice grilled fresh vegetables and lemon risotto and a desert, deconstructed cheese cake. The fish was excellent, with grilled skin and perfectly cooked inside. Risotto was Al dente. All this came from their 4 star hotel kitchen. Definitely the best deal I had for years!

Apero at Mandy's was very friendly and Leo's service was really pleasant and accommodating. Patrick was also a very attentive host and listened to our every wish. The best thing was the food, my piece of lamb kidney was as ordered!! Thanks Julian!!!

We went to Bär's for dinner today. First of all, we received a very warm welcome from Mandy and Leo and received first-class service! We were well looked after by Julian and Patrick. We will recommend Bär's 100%. We eat out a lot. We haven't experienced such a good interaction between service and kitchen in a long time, with both areas doing a great job. All thumbs up! The catering industry needs people like that!!

Were a few weeks ago there for dinner with a toddler. There were children's chairs, cutlery and cups, very attentive. The service was very friendly and extremely attentive, we felt like we were in great hands. The lamb was outstanding, just wow, the meat quality, portion size and side dishes were simply amazing. We hope this dish stays on the menu. We were also given good advice when it came to wine. Price performance was good. Finally a restaurant in the region where you can still get your fill.

Lunchtime while everyone is skiing it's a cosy bar restaurant nook feel - quiet and discrete with hotel guests quietly dining without any time limit. Holiday luxury. ...with a surprisingly varied and delicious tiny menu. I recommend trying the Reisling soup (imagine a milder non cheesy version of french onion soup with a dash of cream), the middle eastern platter (called "Asian" for quirky reason ), Flammkuchen is very good according to the experts I dined with and the Portuguese rose is very week structured and a Pomegranate red - suprisingly for a Vino Verde wine, and the Swiss Pinot, once aired, finally the entree salad can be a Meal on its own. Cosy alpine wood ambience with glimpses of the surrounding chkaets and right in the centre of town. Can be super busy at apres ski or for pre dinner drinks....

Great restaurant and very good team. We were particularly impressed by Zorka, Mandy, Martin and Nicole, who pampered us completely and fulfilled our every wish. The food was also simply great! We had an exceptional evening and will definitely be back. Thank you!

Felt like a scam. We ordered a variety of food and some soups. The menu only shows 1 size of soup priced at 10.- for the soup of the day, however they had the audacity to charge us 15.- for the soup of the day (some herbs soup)!! On the receipt it said that they served us a big soup and when we confronted the waiter about it, she claimed that she assumed we would order a big one if we didn't say anything (mind you, there was no different sizes offered in the menu and the waitress did not offer it either). Waitresses were a bit rude and at first hesitant to seat us...the restaurant was empty. Cannotmrecommend as the experience left a terrible aftertaste, although the food was decent

Brilliant restaurant in a top location in Klosters. Super friendly and charming service, like something out of a picture book. Very nice and stylish furnishings, the seats on the terrace were very comfortable. The food was fantastic, the portions were large and beautifully prepared. The bear salad with tender chicken is highly recommended, as is the tarte flambée. Smaller afternoon menu with warm and cold dishes available, open all day. We paid 180 francs for 3 people including wine, coffee and dessert. Definitely recommended, well done.

We have never experienced such generous and genuine hospitality! After we ordered 4 lunches and two of them could not be served in a timely manner, the whole team apologized several times and served two fine alternatives. When we wanted to pay, they told us that we were not allowed to pay the bill because of this ''glitch'' that shouldn't happen😊. We would like to thank the boss and his entire team for their kindness and generosity! We will definitely come back because we felt very comfortable as guests!

It was the first time in Bär's and definitely not the last time! The long journey from Aargau was definitely worth it, very friendly and open staff, small, fine but good menu! The food is very, very good and the ambience is wonderful - you feel comfortable here!

I've actually been to bär's a lot of times. The place is nice and the service staff is friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately I was really very disappointed today. The maluns has absolutely nothing to do with the Graubünden maluns. I can't define exactly what it was but some kind of fried vegetables, some kind of salad... The price is also not appropriate. I sincerely hope that the new menu will be replaced by the "old" menu and that you can once again enjoy a "bär's salad", a "flambée", a "bär's and vegiburger", etc

We were staying at the hotel, and given how expensive the hotel is, we expected -- at minimum -- good, solid quality bistro food, but unfortunately Baer's fell far short. Our meal took over an hour to get to us after ordering; the waitress explained that it was their first busy night of the season, but the room was not terribly busy (COVID restrictions kept numbers down), and it was Christmas week, so it seems they should have expected and prepared for a busy evening. When the food did come, it was hugely disappointing. It was barely warm -- room temperature -- as though it had been reheated and was sitting on a counter for some time, and felt like airport food quality. We were surprised and disappointed, as we'd hoped to eat here each night as guests of the hotel -- we ended up not eating there again. Three stars is "average" and this experience was actually below average, but the one thing bumping this review up to three stars was that although service was terribly slow, the waitress was friendly, apologetic, and even brought us a round of drinks on the house while we waited. She handled difficult circumstances that were not within her control (the slow kitchen and poor food quality) in a manner that was transparent, professional, and showed respect for us as her clients. I hope she gets some help for the rest of the season.

Dieses Bistro kann ich mit bestem Gewissen weiter empfehlen. Ausgezeichnete und sehr leckere Speisen. Jeder noch so erdenkliche Wunsch wird einem schon fast von den Augen abgelesen. Das ganze Personal, vom Service bis zur Küchenbrigade ist zuvorkommend, und sehr freundlich. Was in der jetzigen Zeit, bedingt durch Corona und dessen Schutzkonzept, nicht mehr ganz so selbst verständlich ist. Einfach mal ein grosses Dankeschön.....Ich freue mich schon auf den nächsten Besuch. Lg

Ich muss sagen, so eine freche Bedienung wie in diesem Bistro, haben wir noch nie erlebt, zuerst wurden wir am Eingang forsch und unfreundlich aufgehalten, man würde uns setzen, was ja aufgrund der momentanen Situation voll OK, aber „c’est le ton, qui fait la musique!“. Kurze Zeit später kamen immer mehr Leute, die sich einfach irgendwo hin setzten und als wir die unfreundliche Bedienung darauf aufmerksam machten, meinte der Herr, wenn es uns nicht passen würde, müssten wir auch nicht mehr kommen!!! Wir wohnen in Klosters, sind keine Durchgangstouristen und werden das gerne künftig so handhaben! Solche Mitarbeiter braucht niemand!

It is a great pity to feel it necessary to write a review not only highlighting the exceptionally slow service, but also to comment on the unfriendliness and downright rudeness of the staff. Clearly the new cleaning conditions for operating under coronavirus restrictions are taking their toll. It is a great shame as Baers is one of the few restaurants in Klosters that has a good cleaning protocol. I can understand that it is annoying for the staff to have to clean down in between each guest, but doing the job in such an ill mannered fashion is totally counter productive. I would suggest some re-training of the waiting staff is required. It doesn't matter how good your offering (and its nothing exceptional) if your staff alienate your customers.

Die Speisen waren zwar lecker aber der Service schrecklich. Leider findet man in diesem Haus nur auswärtige (Deutsche). Unfreundlich. Wir werden künftig dieses Restaurant meiden.

Sehr schönes, Restaurant, Terrasse direkt am Fluss. Spaghetti mit Rindsfiletstreifen, Chili & Knoblauch, Burger und Entrecote waren sehr fein,. Speziell die hausgemachten Chicken Nuggets für die Kleinen sind super. Gute Weinkarte mit mit vielen Bünder Spezialitäten.

Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.Wir hatten zwei Vorspeisen, Hauptgänge mit Fleisch und Glacé als Dessert. Alles war ausgezeichnet und hat sehr gut geschmeckt.Die Speisekarte ist auf internationale Gäste ausgelegt, weshalb schweizerische Gerichte in der Minderheit sind, dafür aber Burger und Flammkuchen in diversen Varianten angeboten werden. Die Weinliste ist üppig und dem Hotel angepasst.Für einen Abend sollte jeder etwas finden.

Très joli restaurant et une belle terrasse assez agréable. Nous sommes entrés dans le restaurant pour demander une table. A l’entrée, nous avons attendu un moment mais personne n’est venu à notre rencontre. Nous sommes allés jusqu’au bar, personne nous a adressé un mot. Ensuite, nous sommes allées dans la salle à manger. Enfin une serveuse est venue et nous nous sommes installés dehors. Nous avons attendu un bon moment avec que quelqu’un vienne nous servir. La nourriture fut bonne mais le serveur était pressée et pas très sympathique. Dommage parce que l’endroit est très sympa.

Had a drink with a friend over a flammkuche. Food was good, drinks were nice, but the place was empty when we arrived and for some reason a waitress was completely unwilling to seat us. She then told us she could seat us at a table which had a reservation at 8:30 (we arrived before 7), as if we wouldn't be able to drink our drinks and eat our food in under 90 minutes??? The manager was ultimately the one who seated us after we repeated that all we wanted was to grab a drink and a small dish to share.

Mein Mann und ich gingen hier zum Abendessen. Ich hatte die Pasta und er hatte den Burger. Beide waren sehr lecker

Das Ambiente und der Service kann hier nur gelobt werden. Ob ein Glas Wein oder zum Nachmittag frische Kuchen und Süssigkeiten - alles hat gepasst und wurde zuvorkommend serviert. Gute Speiseauswahl - welche im Sommer auch auf der Terrasse oder im angrenzenden Restaurant genossen werden kann.

Beim unseren Ausflug kehrten wir ins Bistro Bärs ein. Super Kaffes und Apero Spezialitäten.(Man merkt das sich jemand Gedanken macht um von der Masse abzuheben... Eistee hausgemachte waren super) Das Personal war überaus zuvorkommend und freundlich. Gerne wieder :)

Bear’s If you want to go out and meet friends, have a drink and chat, we recommend Bärs at Hotel Piz Buin. The atmosphere is pleasant and comfortable. If you are accompanied by children, you have toys at the bar and it is possible to use the hotel's playground. Don't forget: In summer, the terrace on the banks of the Lanquart River is spacious and also suitable for children. Here's the best tip: To keep up with the drinks, we recommend the tarte flambée or the hamburger. Don't you know Flammkuchen? It is a typical German food (it comes from Alsace) that is reminiscent of a pizza, but has a very thin and crispy dough. The traditional ingredients also differ. No cheese or tomato sauce is used, and onion is a classic ingredient.

klosters is clearly not the town to go to if you are looking for decent food or bar. simple forget good food and hope you can find edible food.sadly the best food in town is the coop (supermarket).baer's tries/pretends to be current but in fact just a burger joint.every rest. in klosters serves the same frozen fries (only difference is the shape/size)bitters in the martini!! only the most recognized mixed drink in the entire world.

Rasche, nette und kompetente Bedienung, feine Burger. Der perfekte Ort für einen kleinen Lunch oder den Hunger zwischendurch

Eine spezielle Speisekarte mit traditionellen und exotischen und einheimischen Gerichten, alles perfekt zubereitet und von der motivierten Crew an die Tisch gebracht. Sehr aufmerksames Personal. das auch untereinander zu "funktionieren" scheint. Empfehlenswert sind die Spaghetti mit den Rindsfiletstreifen, oder die Tagliatelle mit den Black Tiger Crevetten. Die Salate waren frisch und die Housedressing- Salatsauce eine Offenbarung und eine spezielle Empfehlung wert.

Toller Service. Am Nachmittag nur wenig Leute und so sehr gemütlich und ruhig. Der Flammkuchen ist schnell gekommen und hat sehr gut geschmeckt.

Wir würden gerne das Essen bewerten, welches wir in der Vergangenheit eigentlich genossen haben. Leider können wir dies nicht tun, da wir nicht bedient wurden. Auch unser Tisch wurde nur halb abgeräumt, um dann einen nicht besetzten Tisch zu reinigen (anstelle des Besetzten), wie auch fand das Service-Personal genügend Zeit an einem Vierer-Tisch bei der Weingoutierung beizustehen (geschlagene 10 Minuten für einen Rose). Auf Anfrage hat der Manger leider nur unsere Beschwerde aufgenommen und nicht mal auf den Hinweis reagiert, dass jemand aus unserer Gruppe an diesem Tag ihren Geburtstag feierte. Da dies nicht zum ersten Mal vorgekommen ist, muss ich leider den potentiellen Gästen empfehlen, das Bistro zu meiden, weil das Service-Personl trotz Freundlichkeit, nicht kundenorientiert arbeitet.

Und schade, dass das feine deutsche Bier (Engel?) nicht mehr angeboten wird. Monsteiner als Ersatz finde ich nicht gut. Mindestens 2 oder 3 gute Biere (inkl. IPA) müssten im Angebot sein.

Exzellenter Service und schöne moderne Bergwelt. Das Essen ist gut und gut präsentiert. Tagliatelle mit Shrimp empfehlen und das Pulled Pork Sandwich. Ein bisschen teuer, aber konsequent. War schon 10 mal dort. Großartige Bar

Die Nachmittagskarte war klrin aber ganz gut. Wir hatten den Wurstkäse Salat garniert und einen Kinderteller mit Wienerli mit Pommes. Der Salat war sehr lecker.Zum Abendessen gabs dann die grössere Karte. Davon hatten wir das Rinderfilet und das Aplschwein. Das Rinderfilet haben wir Medium- Rare bestellt, leider kam das Fleisch mehr Medium als Rare. Das Alpschwein war einen Ticken zu durch aber dennoch sehr lecker. Zum Schwein hatte ich statt Rosmarinkartoffeln den getrüffelten Kartoffelstock bestellt. Der Kartoffelstock war an für sich sehr lecker nur hatte er nichts mit getrüffelt zu tun. Gemäss dem Kellner war aber Trüffelöl drin. Leider überhaupt nichts gemerkt! Schade. Die Gläser könnte auch mal ausgewechselt werden, die haben ihre beste Zeit durch. Verbesserungspotential auch beim Servicepersonal noch möglich. Ansonsten ein gemütliches Bistro.

Personnel sympa mais qui préfère s’occuper d’un groupe déjà au dessert pour resservir du vin que de nous qui mangerons et attendons notre vin. Carte réellement limitée et cher pour ce que c’est bien que bon mais sans plus. Deco joli

Wir waren letzten Freitag Abend zum Abschluss unserer Skiferien im Bär's. Hätten in der Stunde gerne mehr als ein Bier getrunken. Trotz nicht allzu vielen Gästen wurden wir nicht gefragt ob wir noch was wollen.Schade! Das Lokal wäre schön.Noch mieser war der Service im letzten Jahr wo das Personal nur mit sich selber beschäftigt war.Leider ist das gute Bier (Engels?) im 2018 nicht mehr auf der Karte.

Saturday night in Klosters and I had no dinner reservation - big mistake. All restaurants are fully booked, and finally around 9pm we managed to find a slot at the Barr’s Bistro. Busy place, waited 30 min for a pasta dish, and another 15 in order to pay. Good pasta, but unacceptable waiting time
