BARTERRE in Solothurn

Too “hip” for a classic like Amaretto Sour. Alternative drink missed the taste. Nice place but disappointing service.

Nice bar for lots of cocktails.

The barman is very unfriendly and seems very arrogant. If one of the group doesn't want to drink, they have to leave. The bar stinks and the tables are sticky.

Very unfriendly staff. We were kicked out because a colleague didn't want to consume anything (he doesn't drink alcohol). In addition, you pay 5 for a glass of mineral water. We will never visit this bar again. I strongly advise against coming here and supporting this absolutely unfriendly staff. Really never experienced such poor treatment.

Very unfriendly service. Only after ordering is it mentioned that the minimum amount is 20Fr. When I wanted to order a coffee, which was on the menu, it wasn't possible because it was a cocktail bar. Very disappointed.

Perfect bar for well crafted martinis, super chill jazz playing, locals filling both outside and in with warm conversation and laughter. Love the decor and the kindness and conversation of the owner. If in NYC (aka home), you wld be lucky to find a seat here.

Very good, exceptional drinks. Great attention to detail with beautiful glasses and decorations. Friendly and accommodating bartenders! A joy every time! It's a shame everyone just goes to Mürli instead of spending time here

Very good cocktails, but the boss was extremely unfriendly! He refused to serve some things without explanation even though they tried to accommodate him by mentioning 3 different drinks. It doesn't work at all!

I would like to give more stars for the drinks, but the manager of the bar, which actually has a certain level of class, is an imposition and therefore unfortunately, after my three visits to this bar, he doesn't deserve more than one star. Three chances were already too many, now definitely never again. A restaurateur who behaves like this is not a born restaurateur, but rather a real source of confusion in the industry. Fortunately, there are friendly employees there every now and then, even if they are regularly just as scared off as the guests.

Here, enjoyment in a pleasant atmosphere is the top priority.

One hour!!! After entering the bar, the wait staff was actually able to serve coffee and tea. They also had a lot to do, with three guests present. Another hour later the boss kicked us out in a very unfriendly manner. Reason: too little consumed. It's difficult when it takes so long for something to be served. Never again!!

I've been there several times. The drinks are simply great and the bartenders really know everything and can give good advice. Unfortunately the friendliness leaves something to be desired. Even if it's not meant that way, it's received that way by customers and has already scared off a few friends. Nevertheless, I would go to the bar again because I find the location stylish and you feel comfortable.
