A playground with a locomotive and wagons on which the children can ride is also part of the offer, as is a small petting zoo and all the usual play equipment. The Beaver Creek in Rothenthurm is ideal for family and business celebrations as well as for class reunions, annual conferences, weddings, etc. The hosts Trix and Armin always strive to make an event as special and authentic as possible! A Western Olympics with meat from the smoker and a huge buffet is just as much a given as the appropriate live music! A day trip with the family to Beaver Creek on foot, bike, car or by train (stop at the BIBEREGG station upon request) is always a very good idea!

The food was fine, nothing to complain about. Expensive for our standards, but a normal price for Swiss standards. So far so good. We also spent the night in the dormitory above the horse stable. This is not really recommended, unless you like the smell of horses, everything smells like this, including blankets, etc. The building has nothing other than a coffee machine, no heating and poor insulation, on colder days it is quite chilly. Toilet and shower are outside in a unit (otherwise neat). There are 2 rooms with 4 sleeping places each and there is a chance that you can share the space with other people. The room itself was made on a low budget with OSB plate etc. (it doesn't matter to me anyway). I almost didn't sleep a wink because of the strong horse smell. There is various play equipment in the garden for children. Owners are also very friendly people.

Der Service war äusserst freundlich.Da kommen wir sicher wieder mal hin.NB: war auch im Schweizer TV dabei bei "Mini Beiz, dini Beiz".Speziell: von Mai bis Sept. ca. alle drei Wochen ein Anlass (Brunch, Grill, Konzert) im Saloon oder der Lounge, meistens mit einer Live Band.

Wir sind kurz vor Mittag eingetroffen und haben erstmal Getränke bestellt. Ein Blick in die Karte zeigt, dass dies warscheinlich die Innerschweizer Antwort auf ein Stakehouse sein sollte. Preise liegen zwischen CHF 30 - 50 für einen Hauptgang .. enough said. Die Bedienung war jedoch so ruppig und unangenehm, dass wir uns dagegen entschieden haben dort zu essen. Die Punkte gibt es, weil es sauber war und das Restaurant einen kleinen Spielplatz hat. Wenn ihr nicht nur einheimische Kunden haben wollt, dann sollte man die junge Dame im Service etwas schulen bevor man sie auf Kunden los lässt und solche Preise verlangt. In den meisten Kantienen oder bei McDonalds fühlt man sich mehr wilkommen als im Beaver Creek.
