Difficult parking in the middle of the day, very narrow parking spaces. The patisserie didn't show what it looked like and how it cost. Cream slices tasted like yesterday, hard dough. Staff stressed, short and not customer friendly.

Nice cafe, delicious products. Unfortunately you don't feel welcome, the staff doesn't really seem to be interested in their job or customers.

Bread, nut croissants and the plait are always perfect. If the service was as friendly and good as the bread, I would give it 5 stars. If the pastries weren't so good, your employees would have scared away a lot of people!

The waitresses are friendly & quick and Gipferli & Co are usually good. The bread doesn't always seem to work, sometimes it's too doughy - sometimes it's too holey... To be fair, it should be mentioned that if there's a complaint, there's no problem getting an 'exchange bread' - but it's time-consuming...

The coffee is good. Unfortunately the Gipeli are not of the cheap variety. I don't think it's that great that you have to pick up and clear everything yourself.

Unfortunately it's no longer what it once was. The quality of the pastries has deteriorated. The employees are very unfriendly and treat young customers arrogantly and disrespectfully. I have been a customer for decades because I live across the street from Beck. However, if time permits, I'd rather take a longer trip to spend my money in a friendly coffee. It's a shame, the older generation that worked there was TOP!

The most expensive bread (3.20) in Volketswil with too short a baking time/"dough" is still sold to the customer even though you know it. Received confirmation on the phone and no sorry, next time you will receive particularly well-baked bread. And they still compare themselves with Migros. There are also other shops with Steiner bread nearby. A loaf of bread only costs 1.95. So long live freedom of expression for information.

The coffee to take away is available for a full price and is served in half cups. Lack of confidence in life.

Gave it yesterday for x. another chance. But again at 11:20 a.m. there was only one kind of loaf and almost all sandwiches were made from slices of bread. Things are getting worse instead of better. Sandwich selection like in the 70s. Salami, ham & schnitzel. That's it. No salmon, no roast beef or chicken curry, egg, nothing. Other bakeries attract their customers with camembert rocket mustard sauce in nut bread or pizza bread with antipasti. But apparently they don't need it, as there is no other bakery in Volketswil. It's a shame, after the renovation we were hoping for a breath of fresh air in the range so that we could have lunch there more often.

Very good homemade patisserie Unfortunately, baked goods come from a large frozen food bakery (I won't mention the name here) which is baked several times a day... The price is very high 🤪 if you know the wholesale purchasing prices 🥴
