So far I've always been happy with getting my breakfast and my daily bread several times a week. Unfortunately, a fee of 30 centimes is now due if you pay with a credit card and the amount is less than 10 francs. In today's world, when cashless payments with cards have become normal, I find this additional fee particularly unacceptable. Even if I consider the already higher prices to be justified, this measure is an annoyance for me. It is unfortunate that one should not be surprised if customers increasingly migrate to the larger providers. I'm sorry, but that's a no-go for me.

Went to Beck's today for a nice breakfast. Clay rolls and café very tasty. The atmosphere is really cozy. The first employee was very unfriendly. Didn't even look at us & didn't accept our wishes. Too bad. Relative expensive. But we'd love to come back. 🙂

My baker. Coming from Vorarlberg, this is where I buy my bread, Zopf summit and more.

The offering is very diverse and the baked goods are of good quality. The small but cozy café and the very friendly staff invite you to enjoy a delicious coffee. Unfortunately, when I visited, there were no more “butter peaks” available at 8:45 a.m. I was amazed at this, but thought I was just very unlucky. It shouldn't, but it can happen in exceptional cases. Unfortunately, when reading the numerous reviews, I found out that this was obviously not an unfortunate exception. Maybe my judgment may be harsh, but if the classic “butter peak” is no longer available at a bakery at 9:00 a.m., in my opinion this is a very poor performance for a bakery, hence only 2 stars.

I'm not exactly thrilled about it. Wanted an apple and a rhubarb flatbread. The saleswoman didn't really know what rhubarb was and wanted to give me plum flatbread. Then I showed her which rhubarb was. Then I wanted a yeast nut croissant. I had to show her because she had no idea. Then there are no prices visible to the customer. Apparently not for the saleswoman either because she asked each item individually to a saleswoman who was cutting the meat. The flatbreads were so mediocre. Something like the one at Coop Pronto every Friday. The nut topping should also stay in the oven longer. Unfortunately the price for all this is too high. It's a shame I'll get my flatbread and nut croissants from the wholesaler again.

The service is very friendly and quick. The prices are a bit high, although that is normal for a bakery. The quality of the baked goods and the goods on the shelf are very good. There is enough space in the cafeteria to make yourself comfortable.
