The Oberländer is special, the hotel is older but well located right on the lake. What is special is the distribution of food and drink. The restaurant was designed to accommodate smokers and the beautiful winter garden was designed for non-smokers to eat. Good solution.

Super nice hotel give best hospitality.I got the room which is view direct to the lake. The location is so convenience ,the jet-boat and bus station just in-front of the hotel .The food was amazing. Definitely will come back and recommend to all of my friends .

Hotel Oberländerhof was an exceptional place to stay and made our time spent in Switzerland even better than it already was! The bus stop is directly outside the hotel which made for easy arrival and departure. We had the most beautiful view of the lake from our room with a nice terrace outside so we could fully enjoy the scenery. The nicest family owns the hotel and we felt so welcomed during our stay. Delicious breakfast, dinner, and drinks. Cannot say enough good things about this place and the people working here. Thank you all for enhancing our time here!

Incredibly rude from the moment we walked in. We said hello, only to be ignored and walked past on. Waitress looked angry. Had to get menu ourselves. Ended up walking out, waitress literally said nothing the entire time. Odd place, would've thought with this rating that they'd at least have basic manners.

Since we had a construction site nearby, David, Conny, Tsatsiki and I were allowed to live in the Oberländerhof for over a year. For the four of us it was and is like coming home! The hospitality of Jasmin, Beni and their team is so warm and familiar... simply unsurpassed! (something like this is rare). You eat well, you drink well, you sleep well! Point! And after work we went to the beautiful Lake Brienz. We can't thank Jasmin and Beni enough for their time at the Oberländerhof. That was formative for us!

The Oberländerhof is wonderfully located, from the terrace you have a unique view of Lake Brienz. The staff is very authentic and uncomplicated. The food is regional, hearty and cooked with love. Overall, a perfect atmosphere for a cozy get-together.

We had a delightful dinner here after an afternoon spent swimming in the lake. The hostess was so funny and kind - letting us try some Rivella (since it's my first time in Switzerland and I'd never had it before), cracking jokes, giving us placemat maps of the region (and more copies to take away with us), and overall being very hospitable. The food was great and the portions were very generous (as our pictures show!). Would highly recommend - great value!
