Brutally bad food. Fantastic to sit and drink, but the food is comparable to mediocre street snacks. Example: Alpine macaroni in a stretched creamy sauce, instead of macaroni there was overcooked penne. Coffee drinks also just about enjoyable. Other huts are cheaper and the food is significantly better. A pity!

This is a very nice and cozy place to Heaven hot chocolate or some french fries.

A really great team that really enjoys the guests and their job. This is reflected in the fine food and the loving preparation of the drinks. Ueli the best and only mountain bartender! Unfortunately we miss the little one with the beard who assigns the tables. Maybe he'll make a comeback again ☺️

No day of skiing in Davos without a visit to this authentic mountain inn. This little gem is beautifully embedded in the beautiful Grisons mountain landscape. A place to switch off, be pampered and simply enjoy. The sun terrace invites you to linger with its authentic ambience. The friendly, attentive staff reads almost every wish from your lips and offers an all-round perfect service. The kitchen conjures up fantastic variations and pampers guests with culinary delights that are second to none. From the simple Graubünden barley soup to the lovingly prepared Schwendiburger to the vegan Thai curry with tofu and green lentils, everything is on offer. The interior is bursting with cottage charm. The rooms are clean and very well equipped. The price-performance ratio is absolutely right here! Here you can really enjoy snow sports with everything that goes with it.

What a fab experience. We went twice in one week. When they realised that someone in our party could not get to them on skis, they offered us a snowmobile shuttle. Was great food. The best Alpen macaroni in Klosters. Lovely staff and everyone very accommodating!

Great mountain inn. Since the slope there is not artificially snowed, it is difficult to reach this year. Homemade soups etc. 👍

All around experience really great (especially considering the price) but the music of the evening is made by randomly selected grass dachshunds. -So dull no porcupine can shake himself.

The serving lady seemed a bit “out of touch” and promptly wrote down the wrong order. The soup was ok, the Älplermakarons were not good. The prices are very high. The clothes still smell like it for a day.

Great location on a sunny day, good food and pleasant service

Great restaurant with a large sun terrace. Well organized, nice service. Good food in beautiful tableware, everything stylishly decorated, from the cloth napkins to the flowers (real) on every table. It was a pleasure.

The legendary Alte Schwendi has always been our highlight of a successful day of skiing in recent years. Here we each had Schwendi Rösti, Cuvé blanc, Schwendi Burger and apple strudel with vanilla crème, café…etc. Unfortunately, today, after a 2-year Corona break, we discovered that the restaurant was overrun. We only had the reserved table for about 75 minutes. available and shared it with 2x2 other guests during this time. At the end we were practically harassed by the new guests to finish our drinks... Schwendi Rösti no longer exists... Schendi Burger was cold... the salad was partially oxidized brown and had to be sorted out. Not only am I writing this here, but I have also shared this with the staff. I was always happy to spend 200-300CHF (4 people) at the Alte Schwendi for a fine lunch with good wine in an extraordinary ambience. But now the old Schwendi seems to be a victim of its own success and we are looking for a new restaurant in the ski area. Tip: reserve for 1 p.m., then the table may not be given a second time.

Good food and a sunny terrace on my favorite slope in the Parsenn ski area.

We've been coming by every year for 10 years to have lunch there while skiing. It's getting worse and worse. The highlight today. The person assigning the table is friendly or plays it well. Shows us a table and three guests were sitting there. A short time later he wanted to place three more guests there, which was more like a chicken ladder than a relaxed meal. The order went quickly. Unfortunately the food was cold. As soon as the last fork is in your mouth, the question about coffee comes up. You got the feeling. Hopp Hopp pay for food, drinks and go. Sorry, I would like to eat comfortably and enjoy my drink. I'm not on the run. So it's not fun to eat and drink in this restaurant.

Beautiful environment, the reservation worked without problems, the service was very nice, we received food within couple minutes. The food was very good. For me as a vegetarian it was a great surprise curry with tofu which was delicious. I really appreciated that Alte Schwendi was the only restaurant where they offered me honey to sweeten my tea. Thank you for a great experience.

Probably the most authentic and friendly ski bar far and wide. Super & easy going staff without losing efficiency. If guests feel that the employees enjoy working here, you have really done everything right! Finally decent music and local craft beer. The taste of the pale ale is debatable (for me, despite the pale ale, it's too one-sidedly hopped but pleasantly malty). We will definitely come back - everything is just right. Cheers!

The ambience is well done and it is cozy, unfortunately it was very crowded and we had to share the table, which made it very tight. The fries were soggy, the salad was carelessly prepared and the burger didn't taste like anything. Unfortunately, the wine wasn't good either. The waitresses were very helpful and friendly, but the whole thing seemed poorly organized. The prices are comparable to other restaurants in the ski area and therefore quite high. We would have expected much better quality from the food given the prices

Josefine and Nick that runs this place are such warm and nice people. They run a big restaurant and manage to spread their vibes to and throughout all the staff which makes you feel very welcome as a guest. Location is absolutely fantastic, and the food is really good.

The rating does not reflect the food or service in general, but rather reflects the attitude they have towards clients once they have eaten. We had a lovely meal and subsequently waited 5 minutes for a friend to join for a drink. We were asked to leave and get back in line and wait, as we had been there for 1hr while eating and drinking. Now, it way be news to me, but I don't recall a 1hr time limit on having lunch or not being permitted to have coffee and drinks after lunch with a friend. Unfortunately it is yet again another example of particular establishments not recognizing who is the client. A friendly reminder that we pay for service, not attitude. Just note that you are unwelcome at this place beyond 1hr. Responding to your comment. There is no Cantonal rule on only being able to be at a restaurant for 1hr. I do understand your view from a business perspective, but perhaps you should let clients know in advance that they are limited to 1hr, and above all, there is a polite way to ask people to leave. As regards expecting me to ask you in advance, that would require me to have a crystal ball to be able to preempt such a reaction. Clearly, if I had such powers, I would use them for more important issues. While you apologise, it is not a genuine apology, as you reject fault and simply shift responsibility on to either the client or the Canton. Again, remember why clients visit your establishment, for a service they pay for, not attitude.

Quite expensive. I didn't like that almost every table has been booked before. Spontaneous lunch is almost impossible.

Recommended piste restaurant in the Parsenn area. Lots of people on sunny weekends, it's worth making a reservation. Also accessible on foot (Parsennbahn + gondola + 15min walk, with guest card 40.-- there and back)

I actually gave it 5 stars an hour ago. Four of us sat outside at a table for eight. The atmosphere is cozy, actually a cool hut with quick service. There were a number of completely reserved tables on the terrace, but due to the weather there weren't as many guests as before. Four of us in our group went to the hut early so that all eight of us could eat at one table. At 12.30 p.m. someone from the staff asked us if five more people could sit at our table. We replied that four more should come. However, we didn't know exactly when they would come. He said that if the rest of us came in the next 15 minutes, then it would be fine, but if it took longer he would have to have the 4 places. Since we couldn't say exactly when our colleagues would come, he gave away our seats. We left 5 minutes later because our friends came and didn't have room with us. What I don't understand about the whole thing. What's the difference if you reserve an entire table via phone? There were at least 6 of these that were kept free. If half the table has already consumed it, is that no longer possible? We then spent the afternoon 2 minutes further down in the Berghaus Schifer with wonderful food. After 10 years in Davos with our group, an experience that didn't have to be...

As always, very cozy, very good food and friendly service. The only point of criticism from my point of view is the price for 1 liter of water (7.00) and even worse 1 liter of syrup (10.80). That's definitely too much. I've already seen the explanation (own source, transport, etc.) for similar comments, but still, more than a 10 note for 1 liter of syrup is almost cheeky. Think about the future: If we can afford to come to you as a family for a few more years, the children might stop by later - and then probably consume drinks that justify much higher prices ;-) EDIT: Thanks for the answer. All 7 children (all under 12) and 4 adults ordered lunch. I think a reference to the free syrup would have been very appropriate. By the way, we ordered raspberry syrup ;-)

Great casual restaurant right on the slopes. You should definitely pay a visit, but booking would be an advantage so that you can get a place.

Cozy place right next to the slope. Wherever you want to enjoy a cold Beer outside and enjoy the sun or sit down inside for some good local swiss food the Schwendi got you covered. Nice choosen menu with a large variety of foods and drinks. Authentic Chalet atmosphere in a well maintained Place.
