Nice ambience. Unfortunately there are no more Rösti which is a shame for a mountain restaurant. Staff very unfriendly when asked if there were rösti. Very rude response received. It's a shame because it was always a very great restaurant.

Super nice staff up there Magnificent view of the mountains. The food is very well prepared. If I would recommend something, it would just be to make the menu selection a little different. But oh what. It's ok the way it is. It is also a mountain house.

Great location, absolutely great views and distant views. Great for sun worshipers in summer temperatures; But other people can eat inside without any problems. The selection on the menu is limited, as expected, but the food is excellent. We will be happy to come back :)

I can't say anything about the food because it wasn't open. Was there on Tuesday last week, because within the whole village of Plaffeien on every pannel pointing to the restaurant was written in large letters "open". So in the end we went up the mountain for nothing, except to be told from some staff that this happens regularly. That is the reason why I am especially annoyed. If you already know that this happens regularly, then please remove the misleading signs (see photos). And please also add your opening hours to google Maps.

Once a year we go up the mountain with our neighbors to eat cheese fondue. The view is amazing. The food tastes really great. The service is A1 and the employees are super friendly. Anyone who is nearby should make this detour, even if it's just coffee and a dessert. It is worth it ..

Ate super delicious fondue, it's just a shame that the door keeps opening and closing because the kitchen is outside and the wait staff go in and out, more recommended in spring and summer weather and otherwise warm clothing works too. Otherwise it was very tasty

War schon zum 2mal hier zum Käsefondue total lecker mit einer Aussicht die einfach traumhaft ist. Die Schaukel am Rande des des Lokal lädt zu einmalig schönen Fotos ein. Traumhaft auch die weibliche Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Immer wieder gerne wenn ich in der Schweiz weile!

Nach einem anstrengenden Aufstieg von Zollhaus zum Bergrestaurant genossen wir die herrliche Aussicht auf die Freiburger und Berner Voralpen. Wir bestellten ein Schinkensandwich. Uns wurde herrlicher Beinschinken in schmackhaftem Ruchbrot serviert. Wunderbar!

Zum wiederholten Male durften wir heute zu viert ein Fondue auf der Terrasse geniessen. Die Aussicht und das Ambiente sind einmalig. Ausser Fondue und Raclette gibt es auch Röstis und feine Salate. Besonders hat uns jedes Mal die sehr nette und aufmerksame Bedienung überzeugt. Hier fühlt man sich als Gast, vielen Dank!

los precios son muy altos. hay un calor tropical en el área del baño. el servicio fue lento pero muy agradable

leider werden meine Freunde und ich nie mehr zu dieser netten Bedienung stossen. Chef hat weniger Fingerspitzengefühl als ein Vorschlaghammer.

Bedienung sympatisch. Chef kann leider nicht mit Kunden umgehen. Sehr schade für dieses Bergrestaurant.

Die Begrüssung fiel ziemlich karg aus. Bestellung 2 Gipfeli und 2 Kaffee. Bei Nachfrage um die Akkus für unsere E-MTB zu laden war dann der Ofen ganz aus. Nur wiederwillig und für eine Gebühr von 5 Franken wurden die Akkus geladen. In anderen Bergbeizen ist das laden Gratis, vor allem wurden zum Schluss 3 Kaffee und 2 Gipfel konsumiert. Na gut dafür gab es dann auch zur Strafe keine Servietten...Der Zahlungsversuch wurde erstmal gekonnt ignoriert, dann wurde die zuständige Person gesucht...Wir waren 30 Minuten dort. In der Schweiz kostet eine kWh Strom je nach Region und je nach gewähltem Tarif (Nachttarif, Ökostrom...) zwischen 10 und 40 Rappen.

Very nice route. Large parking lot. Insane view. The menu is small but nice, as it should be. Local products from Freiburg. The whole thing is rounded off with the charming service. Price performance is right. I will come back. Is worth a trip. Great👍🏻
