The greatest thing about this restaurant are the views. Food is good, service is ok: not too friendly if you can't speak any German. But it's a good place to get some rest after a hike and enjoy the views.

Daily menu: Tender roast beef, polenta and vegetables! Excellent, very fine, very large portion at a very good price. There were five of us and everyone was thrilled. We all appreciate it when a daily menu is offered and that's why we'll definitely come back.

The offer is somewhat modest. Man could be a little more creative. The fries didn't taste very good and the frying oil was probably a bit old. But if you're hungry it's not so bad. The fantastic view compensates for the not very good food. But please be a little more creative with your dishes - it's worth it.

The view is amazing but the service is ridiculously unfriendly and rude! The food doesn’t make up for it… expensive, unhealthy and tasteless…

A beautiful sunny terrace overlooking the slopes, probably the most charming restaurant to take a break on the slopes in Hoch-Ybrig! Prices in line with the competition, friendly service.

Very unfriendly staff. A small criticism is answered with "if you don't like it, you can go somewhere else". You probably haven't heard of Corona measures yet. The tables were so close together that it was hard to get through. The food was ok, like from a self-service restaurant, but nothing more. At least the view was nice. . .

The pork sausage had been kept warm for a very long time and was simply taken out of a drawer without putting it on the grill again. Well, it was already over the grill anyway and therefore burnt and lukewarm. The onion sauce wasn't to my taste either. All in all, a poor culinary performance. In itself a nice mountain house with a great view, but that was nothing this time.

Soup of the day is ridiculous and then the whole thing cost 6.00 CHF and a generous piece of dry bread was included. (Actually half a slice for me!!! Because everything is halved in typical Swiss fashion) In times of COVID, half of the indoor area was closed - you would have to clean too much 🤣😂🤣😂…. This is also one of the reasons why so many Swiss love the hospitality in neighboring countries such as. Rate Austria as better. The restaurant doesn't do the Hoch Ybrig justice, which is a shame, because otherwise everyone puts in a lot of effort and shows a lot of commitment and is very friendly. Besides - I grew up around here and find something like that disappointing. I was here as a child and now I come here with my 4 children... I'll give food somewhere else now!

Unimaginative menu: Schnipo without decoration and throw frozen schnitzel directly into the deep fryer. Mask requirement in times of certificate requirements. Well, the canton of Schwyz is probably interpreting the measures more loosely

Typical self-service meal. The usual: Schnipo, goulash soup, dinner of the day, a bit of cake. For the kids, chicken nuggets, spaghetti Bolognese or Napoli. There's also salad. We went at peak time on a beautiful Sunday. Still have one inside. get space. Nice view of the mountains, sunny outside on the terrace.

There can only be something good and it's just the view here. If you get ugly, overcooked, hard fried onions with alpine macarons (without bacon or ham) you can say there is effectively no quality control. Sorry, you're just spoiled and you don't need to be good anymore.

Great view however As far as the restaurant is concerned, the staff is already overwhelmed with just a few people. Price performance is not quite right, vegetables are frozen. You could expect more from the schnitzel. There are certainly better restaurants to visit in this area.

Well-rehearsed team delivers popular menus and is somewhat aware of the limits of the Swiss target audience's willingness to pay... Yesterday there wasn't enough to clear the dishes from the rack.

Simple mountain restaurant. Not a very large selection of food, just the usual. Mixed salad was completely fine and for 12.- the price was also quite ok. Thanks to the beautiful weather, the view was amazing.

Actually, you don't want to say anything bad, but the goulash soup is the worst one west of Lake Balaton: completely poorly seasoned and with the consistency of porridge. Then it's better to stop at Stäfel downstairs.

It looked pretty closed today, I assume it is only open during winter season, then closed in spring, then opens for summer season, then closed in autumn. I assume now that it is only open when the lifts are running. Unfortunately, the website doesn't tell. Ignore my rating, as I haven't been inside.

Pork steak in mushroom cream sauce with Spätzli and vegetables. Sounds good, but it wasn't. Parcel sauce, convenience Spätzli and frozen vegetables. Meat tough (improperly cut) Well, you can't expect too much for 22.00, but there was no love in it at all.

Self-service restaurant with a limited range, but the view on the terrace (of stars and Hesisbol) is second to none. There is often still sun there when the rest of the Hochybrig ski area is already or still in the shade.

Stunning view, good food, fair prices. A good place on top of the slopes!
