A beautiful pub with a lot of charm and love.

This restaurant has some of the best food I’ve eaten as well as an amazing view. You can really notice the quality of the food and the care that was put into preparing it. The Owners Fredo and Migga are also very friendly and welcoming people. Highly recommend giving this place a visit, you won’t be disappointed!

Simply enormous and indescribably beautiful as well as very comfortable. The restaurant is first class and the philosophy fits the place perfectly.

On our hike we took a drinking break in the Alpenrose restaurant. Is very popular with bikers. The cakes on the next table looked very good. If you want to see for yourself, go behind the house, where the cake buffet is. Very friendly service!

The new tenants of the Alpenrose Medergen are extremely friendly and sweet. You deserve my utmost respect for taking over the restaurant as a career changer shortly after you retire. Fantastic and also a little crazy. We can only hope that you keep your optimism and don't let the difficult job get you down. It's wonderful to sit there and enjoy the peace and quiet. The coffee tastes great and the lamb sausage is very tasty. Some of the cooking is done with wood fire. Just like before. There is no electricity. Good luck, good sales and lots of nice guests. Alpenrose Medergen is highly recommended.

Extremely unfriendly service. You pay almost 10 francs for a Cervelat. In addition, there is another 10 francs for a soggy potato salad. I paid almost 40 francs for my cutlet!!!! If you then get yelled at that there are no lemon trees growing at 2000 meters because I asked for a lemon wedge, then I have to say: Never again!

Interesting, cash only, long drop toilet, no running water, probably what a restaurant was like 150 years ago. Get ready to be thrown back in history...

Very nice Walser building in beautiful setting. The waitress was not very friendly. The bread served with the sausage was a few days old. However, prices are high.

Wonderful place to rest on your hike from and to Arosa. A lot of mountain bikers stop here to get some refreshments. I highly recommend this little town. One of my favourite places on earth.
