Beautifully renovated rooms in a fantastic mountain landscape. The cable car takes you comfortably from the community of Fanas to the front door of the Berghaus Sassauna. The lovingly prepared cakes, pastries and drinks are the perfect start to countless hikes or just to linger on the sunny terrace. Hard to beat in terms of hospitality, you will be pampered by the host couple and you can forget about everyday life while enjoying a delicious plate of beer and the fantastic view over the Graubünden Alps. Definitely worth a visit!

Stopped here after a short hike at altitude. Nice reception on the beautifully decorated terrace with attention to detail. A very fine vegetarian dal with delicious naan bread. And a great salad. Wonderful view of the Prättigau and the mountains bordering Austria.

I had an absolutely fantastic time as a guest in this magical mountain house. The location and the terrace are breathtakingly beautiful and the attention to detail can be felt in every corner in and around the house. The food at the Berghaus was delicious! Sabine and Andreas, the warm hosts, took excellent care of us. They welcomed us with open arms. Your warm manner made our stay very special. The view from the mountain house was simply breathtaking. When we finally climbed to the mountain restaurant, we were greeted by a breathtaking panorama that made us dream. I can highly recommend this mountain house. It is a place where you can leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind and enjoy the beauty of nature to the fullest. A big thank you to Sabine and Andreas for their hospitality and for making our stay unforgettable. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

We set off up the mountain in the late afternoon and when we reached the top, all of my expectations were exceeded. We were warmly welcomed in the lovingly furnished mountain restaurant, even with our dog, and were immediately served a fantastic dinner. Even though we had only registered spontaneously, we were welcomed with open arms and pampered with full alpine luxury. The beds smelled wonderful, the conversations were entertaining and the starry sky was magical. I'm already looking forward to returning with my family and spending more time up there. Only the best to both of them!

It was really nice to visit Sabine again and get to know her partner. Very original with the seating and the flowers on the terrace. The view and the food selection are perfect for a mountain restaurant. The experience with the Fanas - Egglibahn was also a surprise. 8 passenger train 😏
