Bergrestaurant vorder Erzberg in Beinwil (SO)

Farmhouse restaurant with magnificent views and a large terrace. Good and simple food. Veal sausages from the farm. Friendly and welcoming boss.

Despite the many hikers, dogs are not welcome in the restaurant, which is a shame.

Received a very tasty fondue on December 26, 2021, with cheese from the region. Very friendly service and absolutely recommended. Thank you very much.

If you like hearty country cuisine, this is the right place. There is no huge menu, but fine, selected menus cooked with love by Marlies Kamber. We recommend, for example, the farmer's rösti with fried egg, the “own” bratwurst or the vegetable soup with surprising ingredients. For dessert, a simple, classic iced coffee or other individual creations. Nothing is off the shelf.

Apparently there are two prices for a drink depending on whether it is consumed indoors or outdoors. Reason inside is the service and the glass. So far so good! But then trying to charge the higher price even though you neither provided the service nor added a glass is not possible! When we came in we were asked to take our own drinks and sit outside. After a short discussion with the farmer's wife, the price was granted from outside but only reluctantly. Sorry but there is only one star for service!

As is usually the case in the Jura, the restaurant is located in a secluded location in the middle of a Jura pasture and is housed in a farm. Homely restaurant, simple but good dishes, nice and friendly service.

Super delicious food and great views

It would be very homely, but unfortunately my toy poodle wasn't allowed in. The weather was windy and cold and sitting outside was out of the question. So we had to turn back after our hike.

We liked it very much. The kitchen was excellent, the service was very attentive. We can highly recommend this mountain restaurant. A visit is worth it whatever the weather.
